Background

The Liberty Security Force command, over the past few weeks, noted the significant decrease in Order patrols and skirmishes in the Alaska system. Curious as to what had happened, they sent a preliminary scout team to find out. The scouts returned with footage of the devastated Toledo and all the signs of a massive battle.

Considering it their prergorative to find out more, the LSF decided to send a highly specialised squadron, consisting of a gunboat with retrofitted scanning equipment, as well as a contingent of scientists that would land on Toledo and attempt to find out what had happened.

However, The Order managed to get a whiff of what the LSF were planning. When the LSF approached the planet, they were being tailed by an Order wing...

Event type: Organised Combat
Event place: Omicron Minor system, Planet Toledo.
Event time: 18.00 GMT (6 PM GMT) Sunday, 29th January 2012.

Event Outline: 4 LSF fighters and a gunboat approach Planet Toledo, as they near it, they are attacked by a similar order force.

Event Outcomes:

If LSF wins: The LSF is successful in obtaining preliminary knowledge of the battle over Minor, as well as a better idea about the scale of nomad forces deployed. They can then report this to the Navy if they so desire.

If Order wins: The LSF gains no knowledge, and The Order gains a significant morale boost for repelling the operation.
