The dialog boxes start on the animation then they go somewhere right and disappear</strike>.

Go to the EXE directory and find the file "freelancer.ini". Open it, locate the line "hostname = gun.fllistserver.com", remove it (or put a ; in front of it) and save the file.

Start Freelancer. Does this help?

PPPS. If it helps Cannon. After you exit freelancer task manager is still showing it running. I have to actually end process to stop it.

No change for me when doing it. Playing on low graphics changes nothing in general.



I'm still experiencing 50-75% less fps ingame, as before update #5. It's unplayable for me currently, seems like I have to wait.

Same here. I was just shooting an indie transport in salisbury and it was horrible. I couldnt see what was going on cuz everything was lagging a lot. Aiming? Impossible with that lag.

PPPS. If it helps Cannon. After you exit freelancer task manager is still showing it running. I have to actually end process to stop it.

yep! freelancer.exe is at 50% and normaly is like 0%. today was simple .. i enter the game then all went veeeeeryy slow so i docked again, exit the game, whent to the task manager and there it still was freelancer.exe at 50%, remove it and enter again on the game and all fine. But now ... i did it 3 times and still the same problem!!! and maybe is that the problem, i also reduced the quality of the graphics and nothing! to run well freelancer.exe must be showing 0% of CPU using.

And my old bucket is intel core duo E8200 2,66Mhz 2,7 Mhz with 2 GB Ram and the graphic card is one ... ahhh .. nvidia something, and i'm stil using Win XP SP3! i told you it was a old bucket!! with the front part missing ... but it works ... i mean .. still works!

I'm noticing the 50% cpu thing as well.

Also I'm noticing some stuttering while flying, and a LOT of stuttering when I'm docked and navigating base menus.

I, of course, have the same issue. I did manage to do a easy temp fix.

Start the game in windowed mode, THEN alt+enter for full screen. Its worked twice for me so far.

Same issue with the process not ending also. Perhaps could be related to the problem somehow.....?


Edit: the fps lag seems to be the program lagging due to high could usage......rather higher then usual
