I'm actually interested in where you found Capship missions pour la Unione! Snub missions are.. at all of our other bases. If all else fails, try Provence!

You lose more reputation when you FAIL than when you ABORT. If you are going to FAIL, bring up the map and ABORT the mission, and you will suffer less of a penalty.

F1 is same as ABORT

Look for missions, where you have to destroy a NPC base or something. Then only enemy snubs should appear and no uber enemies. At least it worked for me that way.

Try low-paying missions. ones below 900,000 credits won't spawn gunboats I think.

They have been lately, dunno if its intentional or bugged but I have had gunboats as low as 640k, and cruisers for the 1.1m
