I suppose it depends on what you're using the Cruiser for and what its fighting. Sure the Kusari Heavy Gunboat is awesome. But the Rheinland Not Quite a Battleship Cruiser is fun too.

Hatchet is awesome. Earlier today I used one to get on top of a LABC where it could only fire a couple of its class-6 turrets, and it was just kind of sad after that.

I dont really like the Rheinland cruiser. Its slow and lumbering and the turret placement is awkward. Some people are able to use it very well.

Kusari BC is very good. Actually Kusari has the best lineup in the game. Adding the Council ships to Bretonia with a usable nerf would make it better than Kusari, but only because of the bomber selection.

Yes I did say that, the Bret Dessie is extremely hard to hit when piloted correctly, and it has the same power core as the bigger cruisers which gives it a significant advantage on damage output. Bret Dessie is best cruiser in the game, no lie.

The topic by itself is well covered by SummerMcLovin and Dab, however I cannot disagree with you about the Bret Dessie- LSC cannot even come close to the Bret Dessie in terms of awesomeness.
