LoL. Please. Even with a 5min cool down between jumps, jump trading is still more profitable than either mining or regular trading. We're not even getting into how much less risk it involves compared to those two.

Then how about you buff trading and mining to meet the standards of jump trading? Has this ever come across the dev boars desk? The idea that people want to make money and buy ships and enjoy the mod without having to grind themselves retarded. Even more so, talking about people, who can sacrifice only a hour or two a day.

If I was given the chance, I would gladly do. I love people going "Why don't you do it then" and the dev team having only 4 active devs, while the lead devs give no input in the current issues.
I am damn sure many people would gladly help with balance and helping the dev team to make more frequent updates. Not that a chance is given.

I'd wager that the reason you aren't given a chance is due to your behaviour and general disregard for anyone but yourself. Do we really need to bring up your last emo rage quit?
There are plenty of chances given for community members to help the dev team. Xoria did an open call for rumor card writers months before 4.86 was released as info cards were the last major hurdle (other than Cannon's toys).
Clearly the lead devs have given their input. Cannon 'nerfed' jump trading. That means he thinks it is unbalanced and needed adjusting down. You claim they give no input because you disagree with their decisions.

Mining can gross 50 mil per leg, but you will either pay 15 mill to a miner for each load, or you will spend 15 minutes mining your own load, or worst of all you pay 15 mill and wait 15 min for a miner to get the ore. Minng cap is about 75 million per hour.
Trading commodities with a 5k nets about 30-45 million per hour if you are good and nothing goes wrong. That is three legs at 20 min each, at 15 million profit per leg.
Jumper does each leg in 10 minutes without even trying, allowing for 6 legs per hour, at 15 million profit per leg that is flat 90 million per hour. Oh wait you said 5 minutes. That's 180 million per hour.
All i got to say is LOL. Stop finding ways to abuse every new toy put into Disco, and the devs will stop nerfing them. Pretty dam simple.
Jumping Barges was beyond abuse of the barge, and the jump drive. So they nerf Jump drive, and are considering nerfing the barge as seen in another thread.
I say leave it as is. You add another "exception" to jumping, and someone will just find a new way to abuse that to. Space is dangeroud "jumping" in space is dangerous. live with it.
