Not entirely sure what the puritain rant is about, but it doesn't really matter anyway.
Anyway, IMHO, If someone thinks that we can run on a new engine all simple-like, then all they gotta do is the VAST majority of all the work with their own team & then give it to the devs to tweak & implement here.

Epic wont give/support UT engine to everyone who ask, if you have read carefully "Licensing" and "Terms" page at unrealengine.com (ofcourse I doubt that you did it), you should notice that Epic is working ONLY with professional game developers, not indies, not those who doesnt even know what they want to build using it's engine.
UT3 engine source code is very much restricted in distribution anyway, so just like massdriver precised if they started giving it around for free you'd have it all over the internet already. It isn't the case considering the only versions of the full UT3 engine source code are owned by pro companies and there's only one or two leaks of the engine around that were stolen.
UDK was made with that intent, and it's very much not the same thing.
I suggest you stop with UDK we've been explaining you it can't be done for some time now.

and then project greenlight doesn't exist
