Using the Middle Click(shortcut for opening the page in a new tab in Google Chrome) on any topics in the Index will both open the desired topic in a new tab, and also in the currently opened tab. Seen this happening on other forums, thought it was because of something on my side.
I'm not able to reproduce this issue with neither Chrome (v23.0.1271.95 m), Chromium (v24.0.1289.0 build 160553) nor Firefox (v17.0.1) here, so I'd presume it's something on your end.
EDIT: Chrome and Chromium does, however, open the subforum that contains the thread in one tab and and the tread itself in another tab. That's odd - I'm not sure if that's an undocumented "feature" or if just a bug, nor why it only seems to be happening in WebKit browsers. I'll have a look.
EDIT2: I found out why. The container/box around each subforum is a clickable link to each subforum, which I didn't realize before now, actually. In WebKit browsers this functionality seems to be triggered both when you do a normal left-click to open the subforum, and when you're middle-clicking to attempt to open it (or a thread in it), while Firefox seems to distinguish between these two actions. I'm not sure which browser is interpreting the standards correctly in this case, but I presume what Firefox is doing is what's correct/intended by the theme designer.
EDIT3: If this annoys you or any other Chrome users in the meantime, here's a small plugin that fixes this issue: Chrome web store link
Hm if this would be the one theme can we have it in different colors?
So dark and deep background or deep white background are really bad for eyes especially if one have eye problems. The eye strain issues are bad thing.
I definitely like the functionality of this theme and the side menus, however even on good quality IPS displays the background color is too dark and irritates my eyes.
