Briefing:
It's been quite a while since our last operation, well let's get to work,Soul Reaper has reported that there's a zoner base in omicron lota, and he has assigned us to go and check it out, however we need one full wing of =LSF= Agents (two if possible, for a joint operation) We are going in through Alaska, from there we'll cross omicron minor and zeta which are under order control, from there we shall jump right there and start our operation.
Objectives: Find the zoner base in Omicron Lota and,if possible, annhiliate the station.
Intel: Very low intel, the last known location of the base is near the omicron zeta jump hole.
ENCRYPTION:High PRIORITY:HIGH COMM ID:Phantom lead SUBJECT:Battle for California
Good day
At approximately 20h00, Agent John Palerton and myself were called to assist Liberty forces within the system of California.
We had multiple reports of K'hara vessels present, along with various others. Little did we know just how many different groups were present. The hostile forces were working together in combating Liberty and Bounty Hunter forces. Hostile groups present include:
K'hara
Das Wilde
SR
101st (*)
MMD (**)
* - The 101st ship was ID'd as, "Chenzo-[101st]". This was no ordinary Sabre, the vessel emitted a very strange blueish glow, similar to that of the Nomads. This could mean that this particular Outcast has gotten way too friendly with the K'hara. I will personally see to it that this particular ship is investigated further.
** - An MMD ship present is highly disturbing, as I could pick up no readings of any Nomad infestation. For now, we need to assume that my sensors are faulty, however we should consider contacting the Rheinland intelligence agency and questioning them on their involvement with the K'hara. This situation cannot go ignored.
It is highly possible that the K'hara forces were behind the entire incident, since all of the above mentioned parties have such close ties with them.
Despite such a large presence of hostile forces, the LSF together with the Navy was able to prevail and I am happy to report that we can add another victory to Liberty's list.

Colonel Mitchell,
Your continued service to the Republic of Liberty has not gone unnoticed. The contributions you have made to the projects of the Liberty Security Force are significant. So it is my decision to assign you the rank of Major General. Your dedication to the Force and the Republic have earned you that position. I'm confirming the updates in our database as we speak. Keep up the good work, Major General.
"Good Morning, I am Gunnery Sgt. Thomas. I've transferred from West Point Academy because I was told the sorry asses in the field weren't getting the job done.
A little about me. I join the best damn organization this entire God forsaken world has ever F*ing known! The Liberty Security Forces picked me up when I was 18 and they never dropped me anywhere where I couldn't fight my way back. I've been in 4,567 combat situations, shot down 157 crafts, halo dropped 314 times, and only was shot the mother-f**ing down 3 times. First was our Government, second was the weak pansy in the secondary forces and the last was my Ex-Wife. Of those 4,567 battles I've been treated for hundreds of injuries. I have more f**king metal in me than the damn piss poor Avengers you fly today.
I've been in service since 777 AS. That's right I was part of the oldest generation of the LSF the first mother f***king generation. The best too.
I'll be awaiting the new orders from the Director Dawson. Until then I'll be at Otega's bar. Don't be afraid to ask me any questions. I'm a fricken relic around here. A piece of golden history.

SUBJECT: Terror in Manhattan orbit
Good morning Command,
This is Agent in Training Hubert Galvano, signing in for my first report. After helping the =LSF=King's bay to deal with an Order incursion in Alaska, I proceeded to Manhattan for a fuel stop before I would return to my beloved Colorado and start a patrol of that system and the surrounding border worlds. What I encountered there was a fight between an esteemed navy lieutenant and a freelancer flying Liberty technology. I tried to keep the situation under control and directed the freelancer, by the callsign of 'Leech' do leave Manhattan orbit, and, in fact, the New York system as he was being a nuisance. The navy pilot remained polite throughout the encounter, but as the conversation drew to a close, mr. Leech opened fire our of nowhere and destroyed said pilot. Outraged, I engaged this terrorist, but found his speed unnaturally enhanced. The LNS Amadeaus was also involved but arrived too late; unfortunately it's captain's comments were lost but he mentioned something about a 'speed mod' that uses illegal technology to go beyond safety regulations and bring ships to dangerous speeds. My ship was not matched to this configuration and was destroyed not much later. Thankfully the faithful managers of Newark station managed to pull my escape pod in, after which they returned me to Manhattan to debrief.
Advisory: 'Leech' and any he associates with are enemies of Liberty and should be deemed a threat to homeland security. He has acquired Liberty technology and abuses its power, and shot a LN Lieutenant with that technology in cold blood.
--P.S.-- Secretary's addendum: Further reports will utilise a more modern chatlog formula; mr. Galvano has not had a software update training course in years. --
ENCRYPTION: High PRIORITY: medium COMM ID: Charles Manson SUBJECT: Improving Integrity
Improving integrity.
This is agent Charles Manson from the Research, Development & Analysis department and i have been conducting a few research and experiments for improving the resistance of our ships. So here is what its all about. Over time, a regular pane of damage-resistant glass will be worn away by constant incoming dust particles , not to mention incoming rounds or shrapnel. Transparent aluminum armor, on the other hand, is hardier. It stands up to Direct type class weapon, is less affected by dust and fends off scratches more easily than traditional transparent armor. With a sense of optimism id like to announce the results of a series of tests conducted on the material. Heating and handling larger sheets of transparent aluminum require a sizable investment in infrastructure. For now, there's enough capacity to create 20-by-30-inch (51-by-76-cm) panes. That's large enough for most Ships side windows but too small for front windshields. However, the cost of using these panes to replace existing glass is prohibitive. The additional costs of outfitting a craft with transparent aluminum armor would, in theory at least, pay for itself over time. The traditional resistant glass, that we use, would have to be replaced several times over, while the more expensive material has a much longer life span. In addition transparent Aluminum Armor is cheaper than sapphire, with which it shares common qualities, such as similar degrees of hardness and clarity. Sapphire is used in many different applications, such as semiconductors and bar code sensors, due to its ruggedness. As more industries switch to transparent aluminum for these needs, the price of production could drop to a point that makes it more feasible to build facilities capable of creating larger pieces.
Ive also conducted research on improving the hull of our ships. What im talking about is ablative armor. This type of armor prevents damage by instead being destroyed itself through the process of ablation. In contemporary spacecraft, ablative plating could be used as an ablative heat shield for a craft that must enter atmosphere from orbit. In my opinion Space colonies and ships of the future will almost certainly require a type of ablative armor to better withstand space radiation and heat. When traveling at higher speeds the momentum of the particles the ships encounter are large, and require more protection. Ablative armour may be layered on top of other armour. If the ablative armor is struck, it is destroyed (after the damage caused by the attack is reduced accordingly). Ablative armor may have additional properties such as added resistance to heat- or laser-based weaponry; if special ablative armor is destroyed, it loses those additional properties. Unlike other types of armor , ablative armor is quite cheap to produce (since it is so easily destroyed).
With all this said I think my resent discoveries could greatly improve the life span of not only our ships but Our Pilots. Manson Out...
ENCRYPTION: High PRIORITY: medium COMM ID: Charles Manson SUBJECT:Nomad research
The nomad threat on Liberty has been rising for the past couple of months and so i decided to take some action on that matter, to try and help limit this threat. What i needed were a few nomad remains, some fresh and solid alien materials and if possible to gather some useful information to successfully conduct my research...Omicron Iota was the best choice for all that.
I contacted and arranged my self a meeting with the Chief coordinator of Tactical Operations department, Elijah Brand, for approval on my mission to the Alien world. I briefed him on my ideas and he gave me a go...Even decided to lead this mission personally. I was quite pleased, my odds of success greatly improved with the presence of such a skilled and capable Captain by my side.
The Nomad Hive
We launched from Battleship Missouri and proceeded to Alaska, from there to Minor and then Zeta. Upon arrival at Omicron Iota we were intercepted by nomad hostiles as expected. The Captain quickly dispatched the nomads before they could alert their hive of our presence. I looted one of the dead alien bodies and kept it frozen in my cargo for a dissection. We continued further into the core of the system. Far ahead we reached their main hive (#1).. Upon further investigation of the Structure it seems that it has been build via solid energetic substances surrounding the Hive, and the solid matter has been concentrated on ground-state properties, and also on the chemistry of the molecules comprising the solid. It also seems that the construction is ''swallowing'' electromagnetic radiation and composing it in to coupled electric and magnetic fields(#2). The massive mountain like structures surrounding the Hive are composed from the same elements and outfitted with devastating Alien weaponry.
The Nomad Beacon.
We were getting some weird scrambled noise on our scanners some where deep within the system, so we moved out to investigate. We flew trough some sort of an alien debris field full with mines...its was obvious there was something ahead heavily protected. What we found was beyond any human comprehension. It was some sort of a Beacon that emits electromagnetic charges reaching as far as a few light years(3#). Observation of this thing shows its combined with semaphoric indicators which carry out some sort of information(#3.1). The nomads were gathering around this ...monument and behaving in a way as if they were worshiping it. It looks like its a ritual for them gathering some sort of energy and connecting to each other. Its obvious that this structure an ancient Relic built there many centuries ago.
We gather as much data as we could and headed back to Liberty before the Nomads can locate our presence and destroy us.
I will do my best and investigate what i have gathered thoroughly and try and understand if this Beacon could be intervened with...
