Alright so I'm not sure what to expect for this but here's some doodle I've made for a new Rogue/Molly gunboat and and explanation to go with and I would like to get some input for my ideas BEFORE I would attempt to start putting time into making an actual model.
The circled model would be the one I would base designs off of IF I were to make a model.
So here is my thought process:
1 -I think of rogues as having ships that taper off towards the tail, not boxy ships something derived from what a chopper motorcycle would look like as a ship.
2- The Rogue/Molly vanilla ships have small engines, and for the Wolfhound they just added more engines not made them bigger. So I perceive the gunboat and cruiser wouldn't have HUGE engines but instead more of them.
3- The cockpit or help of the ships are not gigantic but just a small one plastered to the top front of the ships not a gigantic box.
4- finally the body of the ship tends to have a larger front with some curves thrown in as it finally tapers off and has engines and maybe 3 or 4 fins in the back.
So what I am really getting at here is that the Liberty Rogue and Molly gunboat should be more than just a box that has a box for a helm with 2 engines strapped to the sides.
P.S - Also I would imagine rogue ships would sound like this when flying around : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LwkcgIV30Ws
(motorcycle engine work safe) anyone would run if 5 rogues were making that sound whilst attacking you.

IF I get enough positive feedback I will create a few demo models and see where it goes from there. I do have one good thing to say about the current gunboat which is that I like the minimalist aspects of the design - less is more.
Better take the shape, make it smaller and make useful light fighter with light fighter size. The thing with 3 engines on the blue paper- add cockpit on front and make it proper LF- something that this line lacks.

(yes, i've seen enough of those lolduels, where house military with overwhelming force on the field willingly loses a pilot in a duel. ffs.)
