When bartender brought her bottle of "44th Apocalypse" and shortglass, she took them and went to the dark corner. She sat down and made first sip from bottle. She leaned her head against her hand and made another sip.
Well. I shouldn't drink it alone. Drink isn't strong, but still alone??? Forget it. This bottle is for me and I will drink it alone. Dammed Mollys, dammed Dunkirk. I hope they will burn in hell
She said and made long sip from bottle and kindly smiled. After while when she made another sip she got up and went to bar again.
Hmmm. Rheinland strudel looks fine for me. Rheinland nation, Rheinland food. I would like Rheinland Strudel please.
She smiled to bartender and sat down near bar. When she was waiting for Strudel, she closed eyes and thought about incident.
Susan covered her face with her hands."Oh no, I forgot about that... I was such a state. Not that you weren't bad as well!"She began to laugh as she revealed her face again, blushing at the memories.
Picking up one of the glasses of wine in a very exaggerated manner"But I guess we can enjoy this one, since it seems you've still got a bit of the family money."Taking a sip, she went on"Easy to enjoy too, a fine choice Sir Westridge."
"I'm actually surprised to see you here, I always thought you had went off with your dad to deep space. I'm only slightly disappointed that you didn't."she said with a grin.
"..I'm actually surprised to see you here, I always thought you had went off with your dad to deep space. I'm only slightly disappointed that you didn't."
Kyle raised an eyebrow suggestively and smiled smartly.
"Well technically I inherited all our money since my old man decided to..take leave from the Republic, but considering I'm military now, not really many places I can spend it."
He waved his hand throwing the topic away and took a large sip of his wine and looked at the glass suggestively.
"And 'in a state' doesn't really describe it, I don't even remember what punishment we received for that, but I guess we can handle our alcohol now because of it."
He gave bright smile and looked into her eyes and then made a childish disappointed face.
"I'm hurt Susie, did you think I'd just run along without seeing you one last time?
He winked.
"There was of course also the fact that the Military needed all the people they could get their hands on, but you'd know that better than me...ma'am."
He barely held back a barking laugh and instead sipped some more wine from his glass.
After a few minutes, Arisu began to look around the bar again, while the agents and Mercer were chatting about...whatever it was they were on about.
Arisu grinned wryly as she spotted Aeyrn sitting alone.
Quietly she slipped off her stool and away from the boys, starting toward Aeyrn, cider bottle in one hand, cognac in the other, banging them lightly against the table's edge when she reached it, staring down at Aeyrn, still grinning, though a bit more genuinely now.
"What's the fun of sitting by yourself...I mean, you can't just come to a bar and sit by yourself! C'mon.."
She sighed softly, gesturing curiously to the empty side of the booth.
"What's the fun of sitting by yourself...I mean, you can't just come to a bar and sit by yourself! C'mon.." The slight clank of the bottles startled Aeyrn into looking up quickly. When she finally realized that Arisu was standing in front of her asking a question, Aeyrn blushed faintly before trying to cover it up by smiling. "H-hey, Hotshot." Aeyrn forced in what could be seen as a rather futile attempt to cover up her surprise. "For starters, Mercer had wandered over then randomly left and some guy earlier tried hitting on me. So... I haven't really been by myself all night."
She made an empty gesture towards the glass that sat before her. Taking in a deep breath as she leaned back against the chair. "You can join me if you want... or I can join you guys."
Maxwell Cryoto walked into the bar, recently established into the Colonial Military. He was proudly wearing his new uniform, happy to be a part of these peoples cause; fighting Gauls and rebuilding their republic. He came here primarily to socialize and meet the people he'd be working with. He thought that he'd grab a drink for the bar first, it was what he'd do back at BMM when he was with his coworkers. But that was another story in another past, he was here to write a new story with a new future. "Hey, Bartender" Max said as he approached the bar "May I have a drink please?"
The Bartender smiled at Max, and showed him what was on the menu. "Well... I'm not looking to get smashed, yet. I'll just have something light. I'd like the Red Hessian Cider please".
The bartender nodded in acknowledgement and served Max his drink.
With his drink in his hand, Max leaned back against the bar table, looking across the room. Wow, this place is amazing he thought. So many people united under one banner, it's heart-warming.
He then drank from his drink. He could've sworn he was feeling tipsy already.
As the time passed and Liz, occassionaly pushing the glass full of alcohol on the counter from one hand into the other, did not really feel like actually drinking what she bought, the woman noticed how another Colonial entered the bar, and made his way to the counter.
As Cryoto ordered a cider, Liz chuckled slightly. Moving around on the barstool she sat on Elizabeth turned towards the person next to her, still looking amused.
"You can't really tell me you didn't come here 'to get smashed'. And if that really is so, I suggest you rethink your decision and get a proper drink. I mean, the bar can only open once, so we everyone should celebrate that, right?"
Squished bigly ~Champ- Thanks, you're a champ. "What's the word for when it feels inside your heart that everything in the world is all right?"
"You can join me if you want... or I can join you guys."
Arisu half-smiled as she glanced over to where she'd been sitting with all the guys, and then back to Aeyrn, shrugging dismissively as she placed her bottles flatly on the table in front of Aeyrn.
"Too crowded over there, and besides, you look like you want company here anyway.." She laughed, twisting herself sideways before plopping down in the empty half of the booth, across from Aeyrn.
"So...whatcha drinkin', huh? I've been mixing these, myself..." She tilted her head playfully while grasping the bottles she'd brought with her by their necks, tapping her thumbs against them indicatively, still smiling as she tried to gauge the way Aeyrn would respond.
Nighthawk had been drinking a good amount, but he was mostly acting drunk more than he actually is. He looked around the room as he then slid the bottle of Schnapps to Mercer and Sierra, before grabbing a water and walking over to an empty booth in the way corner of the bar, he studied the food menu.
"You got all that money? I think you can definitely afford to pay for drinks tonight. Not that Daddy and Uncle Rog- eh, the Commander aren't also doing well these days."Susan teased, daintily emptying the bottle into her glass."Since it seems we'll be needing some more wine! I'm afraid I don't have any of Admiral Westie's on me."
Taking quite a gulp of wine, she put it down again to show a genuine smile. "You know I wouldn't think that. It's not just the military that is glad to have you still around. As for that little dig, I'll have you know I'm quite the ace of the Firebirds. I don't know how much of your dad's talent has rubbed off on you, rook."Susan said loudly, gesturing towards him with her glass and sloshing a little onto her sleeve."Oops! Oh well, it's pink anyway."
On the other side of the bar, the Gallic man had just downed the orange drink he'd been given, shivering as he set down the glass."I do not know if anyone ever gets used to this... but it is better than 'huffing'."He noticed the very agent that had given him his dose sitting down nearby, but did not know if he had seen or hear him.
