"N-No!...yo-..it looks good! I'm the idiot who wore flight-gear to a bar...it's supposed to be all nice and stuff, and here I am wearing this.." Aeyrn looked up from her drink, catching the blush across Arisu's face and the slight tug of her tanktop, which caused her to laugh softly before she took another sip from her glass.
"I wouldn't call you an idiot because of that, after all you didn't have time change, right?. I mean, honestly, people come here to relax after patrols. But other than that thank you for thinking so." She replied softly, looking back up at Arisu.
"Well uhm...I like uniforms, so you know..." Arisu shrugged.
Aeyrn laughed softly with her for a moment and tilted her head to the side, nodding softly in agreement on the comment about the uniforms. "So...the drink is good, right..?"
She looked up from her glass, head still tilted slightly to the left, "Stronger than what I thought it was going to be. Not half bad though." She replied, holding the glass up to her mouth again.
Clearly enjoying herself despite the embarrassing memories, took another sip before putting her glass down and leaning forward.
"Not the Ace, silly! I'm good, but have you seen Jackson fly at all? Definitely a lot better than that first shot in Uncle Roger's Eros"she exclaimed, blushing again.
"It has been ten years you know... I guess you boys prefer your bigger ships".She stuck out her tongue."Maybe you'll earn your own medals, although I've only had a couple of pins on my chest so far."
Picking up her glass as it was topped up and taking another sip, she smiled sweetly at the waiter before turning back to Kyle.
"I've actually spent a few years planetside with my dad, when I wasn't getting taught to fly. I don't know if you've been to Yuma, but it's lovely."She looked off dreamily."The beaches are really lovely, and could probably warm up a cold commander like you."
"...The beaches are really lovely, and could probably warm up a cold commander like you."
Kyle looked up sharply at her last remark and tried not to laugh.
"Cold Commander? Hardly. I'm still supposed to be the hotshot pilot fresh out of the academy and killing the bad guys, but I guess..I'm different in that sense."
He took up his glass, drinking a few drops in an extremely slow way, his eyes suddenly darted up to meet hers.
"Not that ever been to Yuma -though I've heard the plants there can eat you alive- I guess I could go check out the beaches, at least the ones not crawling with killer plants."
He poured himself another glass of wine and then made a sly grin.
"Of course, it wouldn't really be that fun to go there alone now would it? If only someone came along to give me a tour of its oh-so lovely and warm beaches. Perhaps someone just as lovely as them?"
He toasted his own glass with hers and took another sip.
"So the Admiral hasn't gotten his way quite so soon, Mr. Hotshot? Not that I mind you still having some soul."She said with a grin, before chinking glasses as Kyle filled his own.
"And being so nice too, oh my. I don't even know where you'd find any lovely tour guide for the planet... Maybe a couple who know to avoid the jungle plants."Susan stuck out her tongue after this.
Looking around the bar, she noticed most of the patrons finishing their drinks, a few heading off towards the pilots' quarters."Oh, looks like people are heading off. It is kind of getting late, but I suppose we can finish off this wine before Lou kicks us out."
"...Oh, looks like people are heading off. It is kind of getting late, but I suppose we can finish off this wine before Lou kicks us out."
He took another sip of wine before looking at the bottle, they still had half of it to go through.
"Then he'll probably have to kick us out, heh. But no, I doubt I'll find a lovelier guide than yourself, if you'd be kind enough to show me around the place."
He smiled and took another sip from his glass, wanting to finish it all already.
"Besides, you promised to pay me back after I got you into Rubicon's fire-control center, I haven't forgotten that. Though of course we could always head to Curacao, right next door, I've heard their beaches are quite popular as well as their...hospitality, plus, we wouldn't have to worry about getting killed by bushes or anything."
Kyle saw Susan's glass almost empty, he picked up the bottle and slowly filled it up to the brim, doing the same to his own right after.
"I'd swear you'd just read over your diary before you came here, I'm not sure half of this stuff even happened. Hopefully Yuma won't be quite as... dangerous as that trip to the Rubicon."
Looking at the wine, Susan began to giggle. Her cheeks hadn't quite lost the red glow from her last blush, and it didn't look as if they would for a while."Oh dear, that wine did disappear rather quickly after all! It's a good thing I can handle it so well."She continued to giggle as she took another drink.
"Curacao has some great bars, from the last time I was there. Quite expensive for a ladies' night out..."She winces a little at the memory."The beaches are nice too, it seems a bit fake to me though. Yuma has that 'untouched' presence to it, I don't know how to describe it really. Maybe you'd feel it down there."
"...Oh dear, that wine did disappear rather quickly after all! It's a good thing I can handle it so well."
Kyle started laughing, she was obviously not going to be able to handle it after a few more sips, but he was laughing more about the fact that that was probably the same for him as well, he gulped down the remainder of his glass, and quickly filled it up again.
"Curacao has some great bars, from the last time I was there. Quiet expensive for a ladies' night out..." She winces a little at the memory. "The beaches are nice too, although I like things when they are natural. What about you?"
"You probably don't remember it because you Susie, are getting drunk, hah! As for the beaches, I can't really say, never been to Curacao, although it seems you've been everywhere, not sure where you get all that spare time considering the fact that you're an officer within the Colonial Military."
He started laughing.
"But it's your choice anyway, I'll be the tourist. That is, if you're accepting my offer?"
