The only thing I find bothering is the lack of meat in conversations. You mostly just repeat "exquisite" back and forth 20 times while mentioning someone else, but not really talking to them. While this is a cool thing to do, it happens every time I fly by. I don't mind the high brow humor and dictionary RP, but some things get bothering after a while.
If I may, I would like to give you a challenge of sorts. For the next week or so, don't use the word "exquisite". I want to see what happens. This doesn't mean find another work to replace it, I mean stop saying everything is exquisite. You over use that word more than the old GMS overused the word "Arch".
Other than that, CW are quite cool. Never really had a problem with any members being silly. Most of my encounters are quite fun.
Praise be to the Holy Arch, may it's glorious bend guide your faction to officalness.

I've noticed a fair few other members do it, too.
To be perfectly honest, it's kind of lost its novelty. Initially it was kind of entertaining, now it's downright annoying to the extent that I often don't feel like stopping by even when I get the chance.
If it were just those two characters, sure. They also happen to be two of the most 'noteworthy' characters, so if there's an encounter they're almost always part of it.
Hell, my Marduk's speech is usually more understandable than yours 8|
Edit:
Please note that your faction is still worth encountering, usually. It's just that the method of speech is starting to become a bit (too much) of a gimmick.
I would say "regard us as just another form of nomad or AI", but that would fly in the face of what a considerable proportion of the people we interact with are throwing at us.
The crux is trying to find a form of Rp conversation which conveys the character motives as self-obsessed people who inwardly view themselves as Gods, even if they can't openly convey that to Sirius surrounding due to the risks associated. It's something we're currently debating at length - we don't want it to get to the point that an aspect which was intended to preserve vitality could actually sour our encounterabillity as a tag.

Oh, that's Ed . There's a running joke about that particular overuse already. Another one he overdoes is "finespun".
In more serious terms, we don't want to think about officialdom until we get a bit back on our feet again. As of late, our activity has nosedived to about mid-tracker instead of top-quarter tracker, which is reasonable but hardly preferential. Our forum Rp blitz has lessened to more of a breeze than a gale.
Until we can assess if this is a temporary blip or a degeneration-to-painful-death spin, It'd be disingenuous to the community to hound the admins over official rights.

To correct him: No, we're not going to step down or cancel our application for the officialdom. Quite the contrary, we are going to do our best to make sure we reach that empyrean spot
We're merely going to improve whatever we can improve at us until we get the either the "accept" or "denied" words coated in flashy green.
Regardless, it's self understandable that we will do our best to continue improving even after we get either of those two words

I'd say 'Hound' implies obsessively cultivating or demanding Ed - I'm merely affirming the same sentiment as you are, that it would be disingenuous to the community (and to ourselves) to be over complacent. In no way did I suggest (or mean to suggest) an inability to be official or a desire to withdraw or freeze the thread and its purpose.

Sorry folks, vote on your official status failed to pass.
Even though you bunch have been doing a pretty good job, the team came to the conclusion that within the cluster of official zoner factions we already have, your particular group does not really need the official status to progress, as your background can be played out as an unofficial group. Collaborating or even merging with one of the existing official Zoner groups can be considered as an option to provide your group with the means to influence the Zoner npc faction as a whole, but that of course is something for you to consider and decide on by yourself.
