DHC, I don't know whether lawfuls are able to lock their bases to a criminal. Never thought about it. Debatable.
Rep Shipping sent an FR5 themeselves, after you docked on their base while under fire by ALG (in another case).
ALG FR5 makes sense, you attacked a convoy the ALG was escorting and there was fire exchanged. (in another case)
RM/RFP makes sense, as it is the standard reaction to people docking after being told not to dock by a lawful authorities. There is roleplay that allows authorities to know about the criminal activities on the forums, so I do not see why this should not happen.
I mean... do not attack people in STU, inside House space, and hope to get away with it. Don't dock at Planet STU in front of lawfuls and hope that nothing will happen. This is a roleplay world. Your ingame actions have consequences.
A Rheinland Indie Player has no power over the authority which is every Rheinland Official Factions FR5 and Diplomatic Actions. This should not have happened, it needs to be reversed.
Lawful indies can "lock down docking ports". And when the cirminal docks, even though he would not be able to in reality after this was announced by the authorities, it can be filed as a sanction and Admins react with consequences that are similar to FR5s.

This practise has been around forever.
A Sanction for what exactly? It makes no sense at all and there is no set down rule broken. He docked -> He's PvP dead. Thats the rule. I do not agree with this practice and frankly I think it is an exploit to try to surpass an official factions, or in this case House', opinion and decision on the matter.

This is a discussion that I cannot help you with, as we have already seen in our Skype discussion.
I only reported the docking, after the criminal was told not to dock. The decision on how to act was made by the Admins, however in accordance to what happend in many similar cases in the past.

Sanction threads aren't a place for discussing sanctions. They are mainly notifications. If you need to discuss this, talk about it on skype and then bring it up to an admin. Thread locked.
The original notice should not have included Faction Right 5, that was a miscommunication.
The rule broken is this one;
1.3 Wrote:1.3 Every player must have one ID equipped on their ship. Player should follow the restrictions and allowances listed in their ID and their roleplay and conduct must match the actions of their characters. In cases where these restrictions and allowances conflict with the server rules, the ID overrides the rules.
When a lawful ID'd player tells you 'don't dock', it's a violation to dock. It doesn't matter if that player is part of a player faction or not, they are their ID. So a ship with a Liberty Navy ID is a pilot in the Liberty Navy, regardless of if they belong to the [LN] playerfaction or not.
In this case, since a player with a Rheinland Military ID told the target "don't dock", and the target did so anyway, there are repercussions. In this case, it was chosen by the Admin team (namely me since I was processing sanction reports at the time) to say that a warrant had been issued for the arrest of one John.Titor for evasion of the law. If the corporations involved would like to state that they are harboring a known fugitive on the record inRP, we would respect that.
Other factors involved in this sanction are under consideration. Check back later.
