Hey there Discovery Community, I'm back due to nostalgic reasons, I stopped playing about one year and a half ago due to being kicked out from my favorite faction, mistakes were made, but now I'm back and hopefully more mature than ever,I am currently downloading Freelancer and the mod.

I have a few questions:

1. I remember using version 2.01 of Freelancer Companion since it worked perfectly with the mod, and 2.02 was a little buggy, is 2.02 now functional with Discovery 4.88 or is 2.01 the best choice?(If it is is there a link to download 2.01?)

2. One of the reasons why I didn't continue to play discovery after being kicked out is because space was lonely, I would only meet 1 person when I've traveled across 2 houses, so, what House/region of Sirius is now most active due to recent events?

3. I liked trading a lot since it would trigger some RP interactions along your way with your 20-40 million worth Cargo, and I'm asking what trading factions is the most versatile? which faction can go to most of the houses without being blown up due to house lawfuls.

That is all and I hope i'll stay in discovery longer than last time.

1. Use latest version.
2. Can't really answer that precisely, I was also absent for over a year and returned just few months ago. But at activity peaks, I don't think you'll have any trouble in finding who to interact with along the way.

3. Currently Sirius is rumbled in wars, the Liberty-Rheinland war and Bretonia/Liberty-Gallia (being the more active) war. If you'd want access to Gallic-Kusari-Rheinland markets, you should pick a corporation that resides in one of the three as they're neutral to each other. The same goes for Bretonia-Liberty-Kusari markets, but I'm not sure how Kusari fits in this situation, someone more competent should answer here.

Of course you can always trade as a freelancer, you'll have a bit less cargo space available, but you'll have access if not to all then to most markets.

You can use the latest version of Freelancer Companion. I use it and it works just fine. Just remember to point the Discovery Mod's installation location, not Freelancer's one.

Well, Liberty is populated as usual. Also Bretonia now due to the Gallic Invasion on it. I've seen Rheinland populated too.

I would advise you to join Bowex) , Fun and serious faction. You can learn a lot of credits and RP a lot in the same time.

Hi, welcome back!

1. I personally still use version 2.01
2. Liberty is staying the most active house, but there others are not bad in the evenings, except Gallia.
3. If you want to stay versatile, choose GMG (all Sirius houses are open to you, just few no dock rephacks with Kruger or Samura) or Samura/Kishiro (they have some limitations in Bretonia but everywhere else you are fine including Gallia, especially Kishiro which can make business with GMG too what Samura can´t).
