Server Lag..

Okay. I spent all night running some server benchmarks, and I printed the reports a few min ago.

Found the problem.. the Processor isn't able to handle all the threads that Freelancer sends to it. and when it can't, it backlogs everything to process Freelancer.

Is there a fix to this? Yeah. Replace the motherboard with soemthing else.

So.. If anyone wants to help me witht his, I'm all ears. My financial situation doesn't allow me to go out and buy what is required, cause I'm already broke for the month, and the only server I have here that *CAN* run Freelancer on zero lag is one I'm trying to sell.

If you get enuf cash, try getting an AMD Opteron chip.

Apparently they are more efficient and more powerful than Intel equivalents.

Well i'm not a server expert but i'd say about ?300 for a good Opteron CPU and mobo.
