Message directed to The Core and Battlegroup Auxesia.
My name is Alan Smith and I am a Guild Master of the Independent Miners' Guild. Today at 0530 Sirius Mean Time, the Board convened for an emergency meeting because of the recent events in the Omicron Delta sector.
The meeting ended at approximately 0635 hours and the following resolution has been voted unanimously.
The Independent Miners Guild as a strong advocate of peace and stability is strongly opposing the unprovoked aggression exhibited by The Core fleet and Battlegroup Auxesia against Freeport 11 and the local Zoners. We will not condone actions of expansionism and brutality against the weak and peaceful.
Subsequently the following regulations are immediately set in effect:
1. All Core and Battlegroup Auxesia members and assets lose their docking access to every IMG installation.
2. Any members or assets currently residing in an IMG installation will be evicted within the following hours.
3. Battlegroup Auxesia's contract on the IMG Combined Bounty Board is terminated.
4. Any existing agreements or trade contracts are cancelled. This includes the space on Aland Shipyard granted by the Omega 3 Defense Alliance.
The aforementioned regulations approved by the Board will become permanent if none of the following conditions are met within the following weeks:
(1) The Core and Battlegroup Auxesia will provide sufficient and justifiable explanations to the community of Sirius for their actions. (2) Or they publicly apologize and provide sufficient reparations to those they harmed.
At this hour the Independent Miners Guild would like to offer its support and condolences to the Zoners of Freeport 11. We would like you to know that our prayers and thoughts are with you.
Finally, we invite the House governments and other established organizations of Sirius to publicly support the surviving Zoners of Freeport 11. It is the least we can do.
The voice of the Guild has spoken and it is my personal belief that it has made its sentiments quite clear on this matter. This public channel is open for responses.
Subject: An explanation of the days events Guild Master Alan Smith,
Once again it seems I find myself being dragged into the Core's mess, for our actions against the Order.
As I had informed the Confederation of Freeports, as well as the others who have flooded our neural net accounts with angry and confused messages, showing cameras and videos that are rather unclear, Auxesia had only taken part in the conflict that had begun outside of range of the Freeport. Our partaking was due to one of two reasons:
Reason one:
Upon that day, the Keeper and myself saw fit to approach the Order ourselves to rectify a past event in which we had wronged them, involving an invasive and disruptive Osiris vessel. Thankfully, the hulls of our vessels which were dispatched solely on a diplomatic mission with an escort, had kept us alive. Upon arrival, the Order had already began to respond aggressively, deploying two Osiris-Class warships who had immediately opened fire. We withdrew to Delta, and remained moving through open space, when an Order Battle Fleet had given chase.
Reason two:
The Core had offered monetary compensation for our assistance against the Order alone.
As the battle began approximately fourteen-point-six kilometers (14.6) outside of the Freeport No-Fire Zone, it seems several Zoner ships had chosen to side with the Order against the Core. Our orders were strictly to fire on them only if fired upon, as the loss of unnecessary lives is not something we intend. Immediately, a Zoner Colony ship brought all guns to bare upon my vessel, and we retaliated accordingly. This had prompted a swift response to the behemoth Zoner's aggressive actions within combat, and the vessel was destroyed. As combat later continued, Order forces began to retreat to the Freeport and scatter, those that remained were destroyed. Nearing the end of the battle, once all Order vessels were routed, all Auxesian ships withdrew from combat to maintain a holding pattern, as The Core continued their advance upon a Zoner Carrier, and the Freeport.
As you can clearly see, our vessels took no part in hostilities upon the Zoners beyond defending ourselves in the massive skirmish that had erupted the local areas of Omicron Delta, and thus we feel as these accusations, which have become prevalent from our retaliation to the Order's aggressive behavior, is unjust and falsified. We'd ask the Guild to carefully re-evaluate the scenario, and understand that we within Auxesia took no part in the siege of Freeport 11, nor do we condone the attack made by the Core. In addition, we offer support to the Zoners in this time, as it's the least we can do.
I believe our actions today, in aiding the relief efforts and security detail of the Omega convoy, which merged with the Guild's Sigma convoy in Omicron-74, should speak for themselves. Had we truly opened fire upon the Zoners, they would've shut their doors to us like they have the Core. Our logistics division and their respective escorts continue to work throughout the hours, and I have personally seen to it to post myself outside the Freeport, to aid in defense should the need arise. In fact, a rather peculiar Nomad appeared whilst I was present, and was subsequently engaged further into Delta, along with Coalition forces who have agreed to set aside their aggression towards us for the sake of the Zoners. The Nomad was destroyed, and we're remaining on station to keep a vigilant watch for any others that may appear.
The Independent Miners' Guild believes that the explanations that the Core gave to the community of Sirius were insufficient and misleading, for they have assaulted Freeport 11 a second time while they are actively hampering the relief missions.
The Guild is warning the Core to cease hostilities immediately and avert the humanitarian crisis which they have caused. We are exploring all the options that we have in order to put pressure on the Core including the implementation of permanent Universal Docking Restriction protocols for all ships carrying the Core ID.
The Guild is also actively supporting the Freeport relief missions with all our available assets from the Tau and the Omega sectors. Many innocent lives are at stake and standing idle in such a crisis is not an option for us.
Curator, the explanations which you presented on behalf of Battlegroup Auxesia were not entirely convincing. You are claiming that you sent capital warships to the home system of the Order for diplomatic purposes with no prior consent from them and yet you sound surprised when the local patrols attacked you immediately for something that anyone would perceive as a serious security breach by a known hostile battlegroup.
Furthermore, your mercenary assistance which you offered to the Core vessels in the vicinity of Freeport 11 was detrimental in the defeat of the forces defending the Freeport. However, after cross-referencing the available evidence of the assault, it is true that no forces belonging to Battlegroup Auxesia directly assaulted the Freeport and it is also true that you have actively supported and defended the relief missions.
In consortium with the Zoner community, the Guild decided to lift the docking restrictions from your vessels but the Bounty Board contract will remain terminated since you are still held indirectly responsible for the disaster that occured at May 1st. Final verdict will be made upon conclusion of the CoF investigation on the role of Auxesia forces in the incident.
It is quite amusing to see the Independent Miners Guild offering aid to those who harbor criminal elements such as The Order, the SCRA, the Corsairs, the Red Hessians and many other filfth you dislike. If this truly is the stance you may take, that you'd help people who create situations such as Corsair attacks on Aland Shipyard in Omega-3 then so be it.
However I warn you. If you decide to put pressure on us, then we will put pressure on you too. Both in the Omicrons, and the Omegas. I suggest you cease this trivial pursuit of hostility.
Evaluation of Omicron Delta conflict data and analysis of our convoy reports have convinced the Guild that Battlegroup Auxesia can be fully exonerated. The confusion of the first moments in this conflict led to a wrong initial interpretation of the role of Auxesia, which however could be rectified very quickly in the progressing confrontation. There is no doubt any more that the Battlegroup is assisting the Zoners in this crisis.
Therefore, the announced consequences are retracted and all sanctions lifted, effective immediately.
An official announcement announcing this publicly will be done soon.
The Guild is glad that this confusion could be cleared up quickly.
Yours sincerely,
Jack Henderson

The Guild contacts you do announce that the removal of Core assets and personnel from Aland Shipyard has been completed this morning. The remaining items will be returned to the Core at a future date when the opportunity arises.
The Guild will not publically broadcast this message because we believe in the power of diplomacy and conversation, which is better done away from the public saber rattling and show of strength and resolve. It would be appreciated if you answered discreetly likewise, if there is anything the Core would like to discuss.
The Guild expresses its disappointment at the Core’s rejection of the terms offered by the Zoners. Even though a first draft never finds full approval, the Guild would have hoped that the Core would negotiate the terms, not flatly reject them.
The Guild urges the Core to reinitiate the cease fire talks by offering terms of their own and engage in a civilized discussion to negotiate terms that are acceptable for both parties.
The Guild urges the Core to exercise restraint in order not to escalate the conflict and facilitate peace talks. A unilateral cessation of hostility by the Core is necessary.
The Guild warns the Core against harming IMG vessels participating in the relief effort. Interactions between Guild and Core ships must be conducted in a de-escalating, non-violent and professional manner at all times. IMG vessels have been instructed to avoid confrontation by backing away and returning to port when intercepted. The chance to turn around must be given to Guild vessels.
The Guild warns the Core not to escalate the Omicron Delta conflict into a larger conflict including areas in which the Guild operates. The Guild would interpret an attack against Freeports in their area of operations as an attack on the Guild itself.
I hope the Core returns to the negotiation table. An escalation of the conflict from a strictly local into a regional or even siriuswide cannot be in the interest of any party.
Sincerely,
Jack Henderson
