Depending on how it is handled by the players and how reasonably the event goes from here - remains to be seen. I would like for that to be the case, given the players were wanting for something more impactful these days.
All within reason I hope. No outcome should be clear and cut.

Potential outcome 1: Kusari can't def, nommies invade. Kyushu gets blown up, Kusari can't export Kyushu Rice anymore = entire Sirius sad, comes to help Kusari defeat nommies. The things people do for Kyushu Rice.
I have a question or two and they are kinda NOOB questions but the only stupid question is the ones not asked right:
1) Are the kill counts only for pvp kills or Npc KIlls as well?
2) Can Characters not on the Lists Partake? Like say A Liberty Navy Character or even a Liberty Rouge Character?
second one is because being a newer player on the servers I dont have Good Characters in the Listed Factions that can Partake in the event.
Jasoneagle -- Liberty Navy(non player faction)
Talen -- Independent Free Trader

1) CEP bonus is only for PvP kills.
2) The two IDs you have listed have no ZoI in Kyushu and thus will be at a huge disadvantage in many ways (see: Event Rules & Regulations). The event has a wide range of IDs to choose from as outlined in the OP.
There is a pretty good mixture of combat and trade portion to this event, check out Part 2 as well, maybe that would be something that may interest you.

only pvp kills

hm, kyushu is far beyond the zoi of LN and LR - therefore: no (id violation!!)

Those where Just listed for Examples Some Could also ask about Freelancers

Just to clarify regarding IMG, KNF didn't expressly forbade the faction to participate to the event. The reply is a role-play one, as it makes little sense that a great house military accepts help from a relatively obscure entity, power magnitude wise. Yet, the last paragraph left enough of an opening to not cock-block IMG and let them participate if they so wish.
That said, it's clear it would make more sense if people focused on playing kusari characters, and perhaps even go as far as forge bounds / expand background for those characters?
As Hubert says, tourists are cool, but getting people to actually spend time regularly in Kusari and get involved in the area would be even better.

I understood it the right way, don't worry. Irply, it is easy to do via Gallia. But I doubt we will go into Kyushu anyway... it's the Disco dynamics of events. Either all the pros are on 1 team, or the other, and I am never on that team. But anyway... tnx for clarifying.
I would however really fly Kusari more IF there was a functioning chat infrastructure, like emergency chats and you would become a better house if you had an indies chat with active members, etc... where questions can be asked, etc etc. I seriously suggest using the event to get it done because now is a necessity and interest.

Freelancers may participate in combat with aliens if hired by someone, however, they won't get any money for a kill from the event system.

YES! Please!
Although the ingame chat has seen many improvements, such as chat history or the possibility to change something in the middle of the text [BIG KUDOS to whoever did this], it is still lacking few things.
Copy&paste, or just paste would be good.
But custom/faction channels that you would auto join upon logging a character would be.... AMAZING! Or just a sirius wide channel for starters where noobs could ask their questions etc.
