We were gathering for a regular meeting when one of our group reported he was being followed by an LSF agent. Naturally we flew to investigate further and upon further questioning it was discovered that this LSF agent going by the name of "Amanda" was seeking the light.

During the interaction however some |Core vessels decided to show up, we managed to chase them out of minor and didn't pursue but a short time later they came back for more so I came up with the plan to use my ship to keep them all disrupted while the rest of us escaped, as I was in a light fighter I easily lost them and returned to meet up with the group a short time later.

I have excellent news, we made a few important discoveries today. Greetings gentlemen,
I come to you with a report regarding my trip to Planet Carinea's orbit. As some of you are aware, we made efforts to create an operating outpost on the surface of planet San Remo. Given to tactical and economic reasons, we found that, especially mr.Hussaini, considered just to move what was put on the surface of San Remo to a more exotic and a more close to Malta location, Carinea to be more precise. It's been for decades if not centuries, the admiration of the Maltese to explore the secrets of this planet. The location of it's first of all a complete anomaly and further more, the apparent "natural self-defense system" of it, consisting in unknown organisms that are present in the air and everything around, preserving the planet from outside interference.
A more reason to go there, for there were regions purely blocked from scanning, like covered with a dampening field, either natural or artificial it's the case of our study. Most people would believe it to be something natural, because of the radiation and the abundant level of radioactive metals in the planet's ground. That is not the case, because the geo-magnetic field of the planet is stable and natural like most planets. Those areas from the surfaces are simply blocked from scanners.
Despite all that, me and mr. Hussaini, took the Liberty to go to the Planet's orbit and make further scans using portable equipment from the Terminus Labs. Aside from the scans, we sent three probes to the planet's surface, on possible locations to establish a strong foothold. We've come up with three possibilities:
Probe 1 Location
The location is situated on the southern regions of the planet. The relief is consistent of valleys and small mountainous formations. The surveyed geolocation presents with an opening of several kilometers squared. It's surrounded with gigantic jungles and abundant fauna. But, there is a lack in connectivity with any rivers/lakes. So access for water, would be required from either underground or transported from a nearby lake that is situated at almost 100 kilometers. There is also a good quantity of radioactive materials such as Uranium, Radium, Thorium and several more. All necessary for our constructions and power relays. There is also a high seismic activity and any projects are near to impossible to do. Geo-stabilizers are not enough to compensate the magnitude.
Probe 2 Location
Archipelago type relief. This area is surrounded with small islands, filled with alkaloid metals and radioactive ones. The terrain itself is arid and the lack of rains make the atmosphere to raise a considerable high level of radiation. The toxicity levels are lowered though, but not enough to sustain the basic outpost's construction. Exposure could be lethal or at least very dangerous. Unknown creatures detected in the waters with the size of ten fighters along. It is to be avoided.
Probe 3 Location
Similar to the first location, the surroundings are balanced. There is not far from the flat zone where we can establish an expanded ground base, several mountainous formations where there could be applied further more tactical emplacements such as defenses and shielding construction. Resources are abundant, there are low levels of fauna and flora. The opening itself is around 30 kilometers squared. There is access to even one of the presumably main rivers of the planet, for it is large and possibly deep enough. Toxicity levels are in optimal parameters. Near the mountains, there have been detected several unknown energy signatures. They were blocking our scanners partially. Small pulsating lighting could've been noticed for several seconds. There might be something of interest there. Ruins or artificial structures. Presumably of K'Vosh origins. This should be the optimal location. It is located in the northern hemisphere and the climate is balanced as well given the nature and location of this planet.
We've been authorized to claim an area of land around the "Bengħajsa" region, in the southern hemisphere of Malta. The construction of our Compound will start shortly, and will also be completed quickly, as most materials are available locally - though we may need to obtain some exotic items through discreet intermediaries.
And finally, we have the all clear to commence our operations on Carinea, I think the good Doctor will be especially pleased with this. The project will be extremely difficult, supply logistics aside, as open exposure to the planet's atmosphere can easily prove deadly. The outpost must be completely air-tight, our assembly crews and later expeditionary teams - must wear protective suits at all times while outside the complex, and then go through a thorough decontamination process upon re-entry.
After the first modular habitats are delivered and our assembly crews get to work, I think the first order of business should be to study the effects of the toxin on the human body, and if nobody objects, I'll gladly procure several slaves for this purpose. If the test subjects prove insufficient, the research teams can put up a requisition order through the secured channels, and further provisions will be quickly provided. It is imperative that we gain a complete understanding of this toxin as soon as possible.
Once the final preparations are complete, I'll contact our associates for specific deliveries. That is all for now.

After some weeks, probably months, we have been working on the engine number one.
The entire research group has done a lot of work on it, and we were quite sure that we've fixed the compatibility bewteen a Kusarian engine and our ''special mixture''. However, the engine #1 has entered a nuclear meltdown process and... half of our boys died in the explosion. Mariposa is in shambles and it's all bruised. I guess we are taking our work in Eridu. The engines are all alright, and the techincal schemes aswell. This thing got everyone rattled.
None of those guys survived. One of our Test-bed Heavy Fighters exploded in the accident as we started to power it up.

First of all I have to state that my work alongside the Terminus R&D science staff is almost complete, regarding the Reverse-Engineering of the captured Nephtys and should be operable in the following week. We'd need to retrofit the ship to adapt it to Commune standards and she will be ready to fly. I can tell you that I missed flying in one of those. Also, given the schematics and analysis we've gathered, we might be able to use that knowledge to construct our own vessels in the future if needed to be, that as a side note.
Secondly, I'm delighted to hear that we've been given green light to begin operations on Carinea's surface. We already have the necessary key locations given by our probes. We should shift funds and resources that we have, at least 50% of them, to the base's foundation. I think we all agree we require funding and the necessary material support to be able to adapt to the condition on the planet's surface.
Now regarding the engine testing, I am sorry to hear about the staff loss Mr.Ossari, but they were aware of the risks at hand. It might stall the process though, but I will send some of my men from the Terminus main Laboratories to assist you further until I will be able to come firsthand. Until then you have the information about the Black Nova compound, you know what it can do, all the technical details are in my science reports. Good luck and be careful not to bring the entire solar system down. Metaphorically speaking of course.

Buenos Dias amigos. This is Rosa Romà reporting in on a patrol route between Sigma-13 and Coronado.
This might look like a long route for someone to go around patroling... but there's a reason why I made such a long trip. After joining the Commune's ranks I had been repairing and improving my slightly old and damaged Gladius. My ship was in a sad shape after numerous battles against the Corsairs.
I got it in working conditions in about a week, but I wanted to give it a little more love... a little more style. I contacted a friend of mine that works in the Barrier Gate Station's equipment store and he told me to bring in my ship and he'd install some lights on it.
Thus, my adventure and patrol begins. The whole trip was unfortunately... Uneventful. I passed through Sigma-13 into Kusari Territory, but this system is just a really big cloud, It'd be hard to find anyone in It.

Next was Honshu, New Tokyo, Kyushu and Tau-29. I expected to find some trouble in Kusari, but seems Law enforcements were busy, not taking care of their territory *She laughs* - I did manage to get a good look at Planet New Tokyo, It was nice.

I travelled all the way to the Baffin jump hole in Tau-29. Next was the Coronado Jump hole in the Nebula and finally I got to my destination: Barrier Gate.
I spent a few hours in the bar drinking and talking with the local personnel while my friend installed my new lights. None of them had any interesting information to share though, so I didn't gain anything worth while there...
My friend assembled some Blue lights into my Gladius.
I really like how it looks, Blue suits me.

After getting my colors on I went back to Planet Malta in Omicron Alpha. I took the same way back and the trip was just as boring as the one to Coronado. At least now we know for a fact that If we need to travel to the other side of Sirius, passing through Kusari will be extremely easy.

First of all, my condolences mister Ossari. These incidents can always happen, and you never know if you will get to wake up next day. That is, what I learnt from history, sadly. Path toward our vision will not be easy, and only those with strong motivation, will succeed.
Our new installation, Eridu is now ready to receive all of our main gear. I will once again call the Rat in order to do this as swiftly as possible, with no incidents. Eridu currently has enough space to receive all of our main gear, such as the labs and engineering rooms. This means that mister Ossari and doctor Synk will base themselves there, and conduct their work there as well.
When this will be done, I will request mister Rat to proceed with delivering us materials, in order to expand our base further, so we could move everything important there and make it our main base of operations and have everything there.
Other than this, carry on with Carinea. My cell will begin to work intensively on gathering the income. We will then be able to fund all of our projects. Reports will be submited every seven days, from today.
