Is unlawful activity a problem from an RP standpoint? Or a server standpoint? For example: trader part of a lawful house corporation RPing as an indebted pilot carrying contraband. Am I violating server rules? Or just RP rules (going to have police attempt to seize my contraband)?
The admins won't step in when it comes to cases of breaking house rules (unless its bretonia because one of the admins leads BPA ). So no, a corporation hauling cardamine/slaves/artifacts etc will not get sanctioned, but the police will still get upset with you
To be simple about it - anyone is allowed to haul contraband on any ID as long as they are willing to face roleplay consequences if caught. For the sake of server rules, trading and smuggling are not two separate lines.
In terms of piracy, however, your ID must have the appropriate lines for it.

Ah, I understand. I figured that the main role of restricting unlawful activity was the limit griefing etc (being pirated by a cop etc), so I figured that smuggling wouldn't be as much of an issue, but I wanted calarification. Thank you for the the explanations.
