Queen Сarina, Lords, Generals and Admirals of Bretonia,

The war is coming to a close. The Bretonian Kingdom has been proven point and point again that resistance to the Gallic Crown will only bring the foot further down on Bretonia. Perhaps your pride has blinded you, giving you the inability to see reason. Continuing this pointless conflict will only end up inflicting so many more losses, something that can now be avoided. His Excellence, King Charles XI, has decided that we will give you one final chance to end the conflict in a peaceful manner and end the misery that you are causing to your populace. We hope that you, the Bretonian government, still have the sanity left to admit and face reality - the defeat of the Kingdom of Bretonia. The faster you recognize this, the sooner we may begin restoring order to the region, rather than being forced to destabilise it further. As it was mentioned previously, the war will not last much longer. You have been completely cut off from your allies who seek to gain influence over you, your main supply points either have been, or soon will be removed from the equation. The next and final stage of the conflict will be launched should you disrespect this communication. You will not be able to hold the line and ships bearing the Gallic Crown insignia will form clouds over New London as the bombardment of military assets will commence. We are also aware that you are, evidently, struggling with the Corsair "Empire" on another front. We trust that you will understand the situation you are currently placed in. Should you decline, the repercussions will be much worse as the final operation will begin.

By Royal Decree, we, as representatives of the Kingdom of Gallia, offer you our terms for ending this conflict on terms that will bring an end to this conflict and turn a new page of history for the Kingdom of Bretonia. This will be your final opportunity to accept your fate with honour still intact. Disregard these premonitions that the Gallic Crown is bloodthirsty; it has always been and will be a supporter of prosperity, peace and stability. Take these benefits from the hands of our King and correct the terrible mistake made by your own hands years ago.

The demands are as follows and will be further reviewed should the Bretonian Crown decide to accept negotiations:

1. The "Tau" systems (Gironde "Tau-23", Ariege "Tau-31", Gers "Tau-29"), Aquitaine "Edinburgh", the northern part of Agincourt "Leeds" are officially recognised as part of the Kingdom of Gallia.

2. The system of Agincourt and the eastern half of Manchester will be under Gallic Navy Administration until the conflict with Liberty has come to an end.

3. The Bretonian Crown becomes a vassal to the Gallic Crown. The Kingdom of Bretonia remains autonomous and will be able to field its own Navy to conduct peacekeeping acts as well as cooperate on any military conflicts that exist or will arise.

4. The Gallic Military is allowed to base itself in the Kingdom of Bretonia, as well as to assist in peacekeeping. This is to prevent renegade elements to take the opportunity to wreak havoc during the time of change in the region, particularly the seperatist movements in Dublin. Bretonian corporations and civilians are allowed access to the Kingdom of Gallia, while Gallic corporations and civilians are allowed free access in the Kingdom of Bretonia.

5. The instigators and renegade elements of the war will be sent to Gallic Court to be brought to justice. The Crown guarantees honest court and fair sentences to the affected. Those who are deemed not guilty and harbour no ill intent to the Kingdoms will retain their titles and power.

I wondered when this day would come. Allow me the luxury of breaking this down into segments.

King Charles XI is a warmonger, and should not speak of matters of peace when he knows no such thing. Let us not forget, it was "His Excellence" that started this long, bloody war. The losses on both sides are on his hands alone. Order existed long before you reared your ugly head. Only one who seeks trouble and conflict looks to cause it. You speak again about peace and prosperity, yet from the moment you arrived in Sirius you attacked Kusari, and then Bretonia. Gallia is depicted as bloodthirsty because that is all it has shown itself to be, need I remind you of the broadcast you sent galaxy wide of your prince ordering the execution of innocent Gallic citizens. You truly think we would EVER roll over and allow that for our own people? You disgust me Baptiste. There was no mistake on our hands, just the actions of a child, snatching what he wants from others. Your own demands show your true colours.

Baptiste, you must be joking to believe this could ever come to pass. Not one member of Bretonian leadership will ever stand for the atrocities you have committed to be allowed against our own people. I will never allow you to enslave the Bretonian people as you so clearly wish. I will never allow you to take away their freedoms as you have your own people. Your King is an affront to freedom and peace across the sector.

Your demands are presented on false authority, and we shall NEVER recognise it.

The short answer Baptiste, withdraw your forces or we will be forced to defend our freedoms. We will never bow to you.

I assume you will be speaking for the entirety of your crumbling Kingdom. An unfortunate reply, but not entirely unexpected given your history of delusions regarding the entire conflict.

It seems that your Queen seems to value personal interests over those of the people. With your reply, you have managed to sign the death warrant of thousands, something that was easily avoidable if you had taken the opportunity to properly review the terms that His Excellence has laid out before you. Unfortunately, it seems that His effort to offer a more positive outcome has all been in vain.

Very well. We now understand your stance and childish behaviour in this conflict.
