Gallia invasion is certainly not a matter to be ignored. From Gallics to Rheinlanders we all face a threat of similar nature - and being a man with the resources that I have, the need to weight ones actions as profoundly as possible is ever present, in order both to survive and have a positive impakt on the outcome - as you most certainly do.

Normally we would greatly appreciate offers of commercial et logistical aid for our movement, such as yours, however there are several severely concerning issues with your approach.

What's the most alarming out of all is that you've managed to find the well hidden entrance to Roussillon, a home system kept secret purposefully, entered the system et eventually docked with Le Boulou Outpost. Besides this being a violation of §1. of Article IV. of The Laws of The Council, it is also a severe breach of the system's security, a breach I intend to investigate as soon et fast as possible. Additionally, you claim to be an independent affiliate of Interspace Commerce, et we both know corporations in general demand lower standards et less responsibility from independent affiliates than from their own internal employees, that in exchance for the corporation itself not being held accountable for the actions of the external employee. Current security protocols for Roussillon do not permit even for Interspace Commerce itself free passage into et through the system, even less so for external affiliates.

Considering all of the above I am about to issue the confiscation of your ship et taking you into our custody for the duration of the investigation: we will find out if you are indeed who you claim to be, who you actually are if not who you claim to be, how you acquired the necessary information to enter Roussillon as an independent IC employee, what further information you may still have about the system, The Council, residents of Roussillon, et what of it have left the system by your actions so far, if anything. The investigation will also address your means of gaining access to Le Boulou Outpost, whether it was through deception, bribery on your end, or negligence, ignorance on our own, we will find out. Of course you will be free to provide further information, references, credentials about yourself to ease et speed up the investigation, compliance is very much advised though. It is also possible that your application to our Job Center will suffer at least a single week delay if the matter at hand is not resolved within a few hours.

I hope you understand, Monsieur Fawkes, that the regulations outlined in the Roussillon Codex - one of which you've breached - are in place on purpose of providing safety et security for the residents of Roussillon against those attempting to do harm to them, et the resulting actions are taken for the same reasons. It seems that both in my haste into reaching you and being quick in the study of trade routes and scouting analysis I have transgressed your customs. Having yet had no access to your compendium, I did not know.

My sincere apologies.

And even though the lack of the knowledge is a terrible apology, I do not wish you to assume this was done out of evil intent or negligence. Therefore I am hopeful that I can provide every and any information you require to prove I am who I say and that my intentions are exactly these, and no other - including paying any fines needed to be issued, of course.

I'm uploading in this message a copy of my navmap of the local system and the others. I am ready to delete said information in good will should you desire it. Since I did not know the system previously, I came here with food - Kyushu rice - from Kusari, and through the Tau-29 system, after a small passage through Freeport 6. That information will most surely be confirmed with the personal on board.

Knowledge of the system itself was found through both contacts on the Freeport and the analysis of the surrounding areas. Having seen a few patrols I took the chance and ordered my vessel to jump through - a brash if not youthful decision on my part. The next step was unfortunately simple - I followed a scouting party to the outpost. I assume that they presumed I had the papers clear.

I understand your concern about my independence and I share it. I do not presume to speak for the Board of Directors, however, and at this present time their business have taken them elsewhere. Although I imagine the result of my work will be made to your knowledge, I am not sending this message to gloat.

Herr General, I will admit I was not entirely ready for the situation in your homeland.

I do not speak of the gunfire nor the military deployments. I've seen that in Rheinland on the past and learned to live with it. That is not strange to me. The truth, however, is that after even if it's the fourth war I've seen during my lifetime it was the first I actually took the chance to be this close to the people in need. To see fear and the true desire for liberation - for a true Tag der Befreiung.

I do not know where I stand anymore, but I now know that it doesn't lie with Interspace Commerce. This is not a request for a spot on The Council resistenz, merely an announcement that I'll be away from Gallia for a while - I need to rethink my career, and probably how the rest of my life will pan out from here on.
