Seems we define the term "newbie" differently. For me one does not stop being a newbie after mere weeks of flying ingame.

Well, yes , perhaps i shuld i have used term "complete newbie" , for player that just join game .

Incorrect. Interspace Commerce neither desires the potential real estate in the Edge Worlds (ergo why the short-lived IFF change of Alabama was mind-numbingly stupid) nor are the masters of The Core itself (they have majority shares in APM).
I'd describe The Core as a ruthless, morally-flexible space-Rome with concern for little other than power, wealth, technology and an Empire.
