[11.06.2018 01:20:16] NO-I-Premonition: Hm. Niobium operations are running again, then?
[11.06.2018 01:20:24] T_GreatDane: Yessir
[11.06.2018 01:20:42] NO-I-Premonition: I'd heard about some sort of... technical issues. Not really my field, but gotta keep up with these things
[11.06.2018 01:21:03] T_GreatDane: Yeah. Pirates are a problem these days
[11.06.2018 01:21:30] NO-I-Premonition: So I hear.
[11.06.2018 01:21:46] NO-I-Premonition: I'd have thought the Gallic occupation would cause issues too.
<pause, flight>
[11.06.2018 01:22:41] IMG|Niagara: Greetings.
[11.06.2018 01:22:50] NO-I-Premonition: Evening.
[11.06.2018 01:23:37] NO-I-Premonition: I'd fly over and say hi, but I try to keep my distance from Valors in this thing.
[11.06.2018 01:24:09] IMG|Niagara: I understand. We can also say hi to each other on this distance I guees *smiles*
[11.06.2018 01:24:35] NO-I-Premonition: Lot of those silos out here today, guess that means your mining operations are going well
[11.06.2018 01:25:10] IMG|Niagara: Indeed. We had some troubles lately, but we are trying our best to keep the convoys going.
[11.06.2018 01:25:23] NO-I-Premonition: What kind of trouble?
[11.06.2018 01:25:46] IMG|Niagara: Outcasts, Brigands, the usualy Tau scum
[11.06.2018 01:26:14] NO-I-Premonition: Interesting. I'd have thought Gallia moving in might have done something.
[11.06.2018 01:26:38] IMG|Niagara: Yes, a bit. But we still have to deal with them sometimes.
[11.06.2018 01:27:52] NO-I-Premonition: Still got the weird religious thing going, or just typical garden-variety Outcast robbery?
[11.06.2018 01:28:15] IMG|Niagara: Everything. So, like always I guess.
[11.06.2018 01:28:37] IMG|Niagara: Allright, but we should move now.
[11.06.2018 01:28:46] IMG|Niagara: Our convoy is ready to go.
[11.06.2018 01:28:46] NO-I-Premonition: Yeah, we've both got work to do
[11.06.2018 01:29:00] NO-I-Premonition: Nice talking to you though
[11.06.2018 01:29:15] IMG|Niagara: Indeed. I hope we can talk again soon.
[11.06.2018 01:29:18] IMG|Niagara: Have a nice day.
Sounds to me like Gallia hasn't been helping them any either. Which is interesting since I'm pretty sure Gallia hates Malta as much as Crayter.
I think the only way they'll get the Outcasts off their backs is if they just work out a business deal instead of pretending they're the GMG. If they haven't already turned it into another Forever War.
Subject: Phoenix Report Encryption:Who's Your Benefactor Location:Neue Regel, Barrier Gate Station B, Coronado
Taskmaster Escher,
Status update: I am currently refuelling the Neue Regel aboard Barrier Gate. As part of our operation contract with the Bretonian SIS, I have compiled the following information for the Phoenix report based on installations discovered between home and Cortez.
Attachment found:Image
Installation is named Melbourne Sta- you know what this one is. Included for completeness.
Attachment found:Image
Installation is named Borneo Orbital. Location is Tau-44, Sector G5.kp5. Modular construction appears to be only SAU core 1 classification. Vessels flying the Natio flag not granted docking rights. Ownership confirmed; we've spotted ISE transports moving supplies to it in the past.
Attachment found:Image
Installation is named Valhalla. Location is Coronado, Sector D2.kp1 -- right in between Planet Yuma and Sabah Shipyard. Again, modular construction appears to be SAU core 1, and again, Natio vessels are not permitted to dock. Ownership all but confirmed; who the hell could get away with planting down a modular station smack in front of Yuma?
Attachment found:ERROR: Attachment corrupt.
Thought I got footage of this one but it appears to be corrupted. Installation is named Glendalough Orbital. Location is Coronado, Sector F5.kp3. Modular construction appears to be at least SAU core 4 classification, possibly core 5. I didn't get a close enough look to confirm or to check docking rights, but it's not flying Phoenix colours. I don't know whose this is but they're obviously at least in good enough standing with them to not get a couple battleships knocking at their door. May be prudent to ask around.
That's all for now. I did not discover anything at all in the Provence system, nor did I see a single modular station of any kind in Tau-23 or Tau-29.
Subject: Order Updates Encryption:ADS Blackout Protocol v3.22-CX Location: Around.
One minor amendment to your orders.
Our client has specific interests. Our interests are not so specific. Installations designated Phoenix are not the sole target. We have use for far more than just that.
[12.06.2018 22:03:47] NO-I-Premonition: I'm Shiranui, the Commission agent that reached out to you... a few weeks ago, I believe.
[12.06.2018 22:04:14] GG-W-Flora: That should be correct. I am sentinel Flora, and I was sent here to represent Warden Collins.
[12.06.2018 22:04:25] GG-W-Flora: I'm afraid the war has prevented her from appearing here in person.
[12.06.2018 22:04:35] NO-I-Premonition: Understandable. The Taus are not a safe place lately.
[12.06.2018 22:05:13] GG-W-Flora: I do not believe they have ever been.
[12.06.2018 22:05:29] NO-I-Premonition: Well, relatively speaking.
[12.06.2018 22:06:06] NO-I-Premonition: before this war, and the war before it, there were fewer battleships to evade.
[12.06.2018 22:06:29] GG-W-Flora: I'm afraid I cannot comment on that from my personal experience.
[12.06.2018 22:07:06] NO-I-Premonition: Wasn't personally there, but we've had some old recordings to review. Tedious work, but occasionally useful.
[12.06.2018 22:07:18] GG-W-Flora: I can imagine.
[12.06.2018 22:07:42] NO-I-Premonition: Anyway, the Taskmaster's permitted me to reach out to your organization for... various reasons. And he knows of my sympathies.
[12.06.2018 22:08:16] NO-I-Premonition: On a personal note though, I'd like to ask what's become of Gaia? We were... out of contact for an extended period due to the
[12.06.2018 22:08:18] NO-I-Premonition: invasion.
[12.06.2018 22:08:39] GG-W-Flora: The planet's even more deserted than before the war, luckily.
[12.06.2018 22:08:48] GG-W-Flora: One could say the conflict is working in its favour.
[12.06.2018 22:09:35] NO-I-Premonition: Huh. I had expected Gallia to move in as quickly as possible. Have they not properly occupied Edinburgh yet?
[12.06.2018 22:10:00] GG-W-Flora: The system is still vulnerable to raids from Dublin.
[12.06.2018 22:10:14] NO-I-Premonition: Ah, of course.
[12.06.2018 22:10:23] GG-W-Flora: The crown seems to have deployed more privateers into the are as well, not to mention a Council offensive in orkney.
[12.06.2018 22:10:33] GG-W-Flora: The system itself is calm, but everything around it...
[12.06.2018 22:10:59] NO-I-Premonition: And since the Royalists are still consolidating their grip on Leeds, they haven't branched off to Edinburgh in force...
[12.06.2018 22:11:50] NO-I-Premonition: Alright, that covers immediate questions. Only fair that you have a few.
[12.06.2018 22:12:01] GG-W-Flora: Oh, yes, we do.
[12.06.2018 22:12:34] GG-W-Flora: The most important one is fairly simple. Who are you? Your organisation, I mean. The Guard has very little information on you.
[12.06.2018 22:13:09] NO-I-Premonition: Natio Octavarium, a small colony formerly located in Kansas, forcibly relocated by the invasion.
[12.06.2018 22:13:21] GG-W-Flora: Invasion in Kansas?
[12.06.2018 22:13:35] NO-I-Premonition: Previous attempts at planetary colonization were aborted for several reasons, and our current focus is on habitable stations in
[12.06.2018 22:13:36] NO-I-Premonition: instead.
[12.06.2018 22:13:50] NO-I-Premonition: Not Kansas directly, but the occupation of Magellan cut off our primary supply line
[12.06.2018 22:14:15] GG-W-Flora: That's fair.
[12.06.2018 22:14:44] GG-W-Flora: What kind of reasons does the... Natio have to contact us?
[12.06.2018 22:15:12] GG-W-Flora: It is not very often that someone largely unknown to us reaches out for our aid.
[12.06.2018 22:15:42] NO-I-Premonition: Partially catching up on shifts in the war that we missed during our time off the grid, but partially related to our
[12.06.2018 22:15:50] NO-I-Premonition: habitation developments.
[12.06.2018 22:16:13] GG-W-Flora: What kind of developments?
[12.06.2018 22:16:28] NO-I-Premonition: We're interested in pursuing artificial habitats as a substitute for planetary colonies. There's only so many planets
[12.06.2018 22:16:40] NO-I-Premonition: and as long as people rely on terraforming new ones, they'll never stop bleeding them dry. It's not sustainable.
[12.06.2018 22:16:55] NO-I-Premonition: We're also not large enough to properly hold a planetary colony on our own if we wanted to, as demonstrated in Kansas.
[12.06.2018 22:17:23] NO-I-Premonition: We were hoping the Gaians might have some useful research on the subject, given your opposition to Planetform.
[12.06.2018 22:17:49] GG-W-Flora: We... Might have some expertise on that. Our own, and some of our partners.
[12.06.2018 22:18:09] GG-W-Flora: Speaking of partners, if you do not mind.
[12.06.2018 22:18:21] GG-W-Flora: Do you happen to have any ties to the Legion, given your past in Kansas?
[12.06.2018 22:18:48] NO-I-Premonition: We've had historical contact, but nothing recent.
[12.06.2018 22:19:02] GG-W-Flora: Okay, I see...
[12.06.2018 22:19:30] NO-I-Premonition: They seemed pretty quick to take over after our retreat, take from that what you will.
[12.06.2018 22:19:59] GG-W-Flora: We know enough about them to not be surprised in the slightest.
[12.06.2018 22:20:21] NO-I-Premonition: Last time we had contact with them, this "Commonwealth" didn't exist
[12.06.2018 22:20:37] NO-I-Premonition: and they were still focused predominantly on guerilla warfare against the Liberty Navy
[12.06.2018 22:20:59] GG-W-Flora: Well, that must've been quite some time ago.
[12.06.2018 22:21:01] NO-I-Premonition: There've been issues between the Gaians and the Legion, then?
[12.06.2018 22:21:13] GG-W-Flora: Yes... Yes, to some extent.
[12.06.2018 22:21:20] GG-W-Flora: Mostly surrounding the way this Commonwealth operates.
[12.06.2018 22:21:33] GG-W-Flora: Just a second Liberty in the making.
[12.06.2018 22:22:12] NO-I-Premonition: Typically a revolution waits until after it succeeds to return to the old ways.
[12.06.2018 22:22:29] GG-W-Flora: Well, the Legion was a little too impatient for that.
[12.06.2018 22:23:24] NO-I-Premonition: I'm not too surprised. They wanted to show they could run Liberty better. I guess the first step is to be Liberty.
[12.06.2018 22:23:40] GG-W-Flora: Hard to argue with that logic.
[12.06.2018 22:23:48] GG-W-Flora: But, we digress.
[12.06.2018 22:24:18] GG-W-Flora: What kind of expertise does the Natio require from us exactly? Just some engineering insight?
[12.06.2018 22:24:28] GG-W-Flora: Skilled manpower? Materials? All of them?
[12.06.2018 22:24:51] NO-I-Premonition: For the most part we've got the engineering pretty well covered. It's the sustainable agriculture we could use the help on.
[12.06.2018 22:25:45] NO-I-Premonition: We can probably source the materials as long as we know what we're looking for.
[12.06.2018 22:25:45] GG-W-Flora: Hm. I take it you are trying to create an alternative to a Synth biodome?
[12.06.2018 22:26:13] NO-I-Premonition: That's part of the goal. Personally, I want plants around our stations beyond just the biodome
[12.06.2018 22:26:30] NO-I-Premonition: supplement the oxygen cyclers and make it more like a home and less like a sterile box
[12.06.2018 22:26:52] GG-W-Flora: Well, that's something we have plenty of experience with.
[12.06.2018 22:27:22] GG-W-Flora: You might want to stock up on air filters, however.
[12.06.2018 22:27:33] GG-W-Flora: They don't like plants at every corner.
[12.06.2018 22:27:59] NO-I-Premonition: We've already got a surplus from cleaning up the fleet after we got back out of the void
[12.06.2018 22:28:20] NO-I-Premonition: Aquila got a bit overzealous with their purchase orders there
[12.06.2018 22:28:37] GG-W-Flora: That's good. But I doubt placing a few pots here and there is the only reason we're meeting here/
[12.06.2018 22:29:33] NO-I-Premonition: I figure the biodome substitute is more than just a few pots. And by extension, I figure you probably want something in return.
[12.06.2018 22:29:52] NO-I-Premonition: Though I'm hoping that our work in this field will help prove that there is an alternative to Planetform.
[12.06.2018 22:30:55] GG-W-Flora: Well, it is not difficult to prove that.
[12.06.2018 22:31:05] GG-W-Flora: It's just that the alternatives do not earn people enough money.
[12.06.2018 22:31:15] GG-W-Flora: But, complaints aside, what can the Natio offer us in return?
[12.06.2018 22:31:26] GG-W-Flora: You have mentioned... Scrapping a fleet?
[12.06.2018 22:31:51] NO-I-Premonition: Not scrapping, just... cleaning. We did unfortunately have to scrap one of our largest ships, but most of the fleet is more-or-
[12.06.2018 22:31:54] NO-I-Premonition: less intact.
[12.06.2018 22:32:14] NO-I-Premonition: Right now our direct resources are limited, but we have largely unrestricted travel in about half of Sirius.
[12.06.2018 22:32:19] NO-I-Premonition: What we don't have, we can get.
[12.06.2018 22:32:51] GG-W-Flora: Which houses does half of sirius cover?
[12.06.2018 22:33:33] NO-I-Premonition: Bretonia, Liberty, most of the Rheinland underworld, and the border worlds thereof
[12.06.2018 22:33:41] NO-I-Premonition: Portions of the Gallic border as well.
[12.06.2018 22:34:27] GG-W-Flora: I'd have to bring that information to the Warden. She will know better what kind of commodities we might need.
[12.06.2018 22:34:41] NO-I-Premonition: Understandable.
[12.06.2018 22:35:03] GG-W-Flora: However, I'd like to ask... Has the Natio made any notable scientific breakthroughs?
[12.06.2018 22:35:21] GG-W-Flora: I image a constant pursuit of efficient habitation brought some new solutions to the table.
[12.06.2018 22:36:10] NO-I-Premonition: Right now we're still trying to get situated, we've onlyr ecently shifted into this field unfortunately
[12.06.2018 22:36:23] GG-W-Flora: Fair enough.
[12.06.2018 22:36:43] NO-I-Premonition: as I said, we *had* been attempting a planetary colony. Wichita was ill-suited to it.
[12.06.2018 22:37:12] GG-W-Flora: From what I can remember, the planet is suitable for limited colonisation. What seemed to be the obstacle?
[12.06.2018 22:37:23] NO-I-Premonition: Extreme tides.
[12.06.2018 22:37:37] NO-I-Premonition: Most islands would spend a significant portion of time completely submerged.
[12.06.2018 22:37:51] GG-W-Flora: Up to a week, if I'm not mistaken.
[12.06.2018 22:38:13] GG-W-Flora: I do not believe it is something a more robust supply storage cannot handle.
[12.06.2018 22:38:23] NO-I-Premonition: Waterproofing them is possible, but given the limited area, cabin fever becomes a problem. Along with power usage, since solar
[12.06.2018 22:38:46] NO-I-Premonition: is decidedly less viable and a lot of people are uncomfortable near some of the alternatives. Plus, size again.
[12.06.2018 22:38:57] GG-W-Flora: What about harvesting the tides themselves?
[12.06.2018 22:39:08] NO-I-Premonition: The largest handful of islands may have been workable, had we not been blockaded out as we were.
[12.06.2018 22:39:11] GG-W-Flora: Plenty of colonies rely on that as well.
[12.06.2018 22:39:36] NO-I-Premonition: Hydroelectric was the leading plan, yes. I think something went wrong there, but I was constantly out on recon work.
[12.06.2018 22:39:59] NO-I-Premonition: That might've been a material shortage, we had problems with the Hackers around that time as I recall.
[12.06.2018 22:40:06] GG-W-Flora: Hm. I see.
[12.06.2018 22:40:15] NO-I-Premonition: They took an interest in the ships supplying us, and we would've rather they not.
[12.06.2018 22:40:25] GG-W-Flora: Would it be possible for you to share the schematics of your attempted colony?
[12.06.2018 22:40:46] NO-I-Premonition: The one in Kansas?
[12.06.2018 22:40:51] GG-W-Flora: Yes.
[12.06.2018 22:41:03] GG-W-Flora: We might be able to improve upon it. Make use of it elsewhere.
[12.06.2018 22:41:06] GG-W-Flora: Perhaps Forres?
[12.06.2018 22:41:30] NO-I-Premonition: I don't have those on this system and I'm not sure which one *does*, but I should be able to get them from Minister Kane before
[12.06.2018 22:41:31] NO-I-Premonition: too long.
[12.06.2018 22:41:55] GG-W-Flora: There is no hurry for that. We can exchange them in more convenient circumstances.
[12.06.2018 22:42:37] NO-I-Premonition: We should have our new colony open before too much longer, not sure exactly what Aquila's still working on there
[12.06.2018 22:43:04] NO-I-Premonition: Currently we're using a few liners, refitted Hegemons, and a modular fleet command station as a temporary solution
[12.06.2018 22:43:26] NO-I-Premonition: When it is open, though, you'll likely be welcome to see it yourselves
[12.06.2018 22:43:41] GG-W-Flora: I'll be sure to pay it a visit.
[12.06.2018 22:44:29] NO-I-Premonition: By the way, I've heard rumors of a cease-fire with Bretonia?
[12.06.2018 22:44:38] GG-W-Flora: Ah, yes. Those are correct.
[12.06.2018 22:45:11] NO-I-Premonition: What brought that on?
[12.06.2018 22:45:18] GG-W-Flora: Desperation.
[12.06.2018 22:45:39] GG-W-Flora: The Crown needed everyone they could get on their side. We benefit from them emerging victorious, so it was a win-win.
[12.06.2018 22:45:50] NO-I-Premonition: How do you benefit?
[12.06.2018 22:46:33] GG-W-Flora: I'm afraid I cannot just lay our long term plans down like this.
[12.06.2018 22:46:38] NO-I-Premonition: That's fair.
[12.06.2018 22:47:00] GG-W-Flora: I'm glad you understand. Suffice to say, it should not harm you in any way.
[12.06.2018 22:47:25] GG-W-Flora: Out of curiosity, where is your modular station located?
[12.06.2018 22:47:34] NO-I-Premonition: Tau-44, in orbit of Planet Borneo.
[12.06.2018 22:47:45] GG-W-Flora: Sounds like a risky location to pick.
[12.06.2018 22:48:00] NO-I-Premonition: We have an understanding with Crayter. More or less.
[12.06.2018 22:48:28] GG-W-Flora: An understanding will not stop a Valor phalanx.
[12.06.2018 22:48:57] NO-I-Premonition: Which is why that's not where the main colony will be.
[12.06.2018 22:49:43] GG-W-Flora: That's fair.
[12.06.2018 22:50:12] NO-I-Premonition: The Royal Navy has already demonstrated a willingness to fire on civilians in the past. Our colony will be in a location that's
[12.06.2018 22:50:26] NO-I-Premonition: somewhat more difficult for their noted phalanx tactics
[12.06.2018 22:50:34] GG-W-Flora: That is good to hear.
[12.06.2018 22:51:26] NO-I-Premonition: Most of Crayter's forces are focused on Coronado, which... could be tactically useful, possibly
[12.06.2018 22:51:48] NO-I-Premonition: but I feel like they'd be better used cutting off Gallic logistics.
[12.06.2018 22:52:15] GG-W-Flora: I was under impression that's what most of the Crayter military is up to these days.
[12.06.2018 22:52:25] GG-W-Flora: Their fleets were plenty during the Orkney offensive.
[12.06.2018 22:52:48] NO-I-Premonition: Huh. Maybe so. Doesn't match up with what I've been seeing recently, but they may be repairing for the next wave.
[12.06.2018 22:53:29] GG-W-Flora: Could be a possibility. Let us just hope they know what they're doing.
[12.06.2018 22:53:59] NO-I-Premonition: Well, they know what raiders have done to them, we'll see if they can put it into practice.
[12.06.2018 22:54:55] GG-W-Flora: Hopefully. But, we have digressed again.
[12.06.2018 22:55:05] NO-I-Premonition: It happens. I think Baffin has that effect.
[12.06.2018 22:55:22] GG-W-Flora: Yeah... It seems to be that way.
[12.06.2018 22:55:29] NO-I-Premonition: Ah, dammit, there's a knocking again
[12.06.2018 22:58:30] NO-I-Premonition: There we go. Finicky prototypes.
[12.06.2018 22:59:26] NO-I-Premonition: As we were, let's see... sustainable agriculture, colonies, Legion, Bretonia, right.
[12.06.2018 22:59:43] GG-W-Flora: Sounds about right.
[12.06.2018 22:59:54] GG-W-Flora: Is there anything the Natio can provide beyond supplying commodities?
[12.06.2018 23:00:01] GG-W-Flora: Information, perhaps?
[12.06.2018 23:00:17] NO-I-Premonition: That depends on the information, but yeah probably.
[12.06.2018 23:00:27] GG-W-Flora: Hm. Interesting.
[12.06.2018 23:00:59] GG-W-Flora: I believe the Matriarch would be more interested in that... Still, it would be a worthy compensation.
[12.06.2018 23:01:08] NO-I-Premonition: When we get properly settled, we'll probably be able to do more, but right now our available assets are mostly Commission and
[12.06.2018 23:01:15] NO-I-Premonition: Mercantile.
[12.06.2018 23:01:21] GG-W-Flora: I see.
[12.06.2018 23:01:33] GG-W-Flora: I think I have enough information to go with and report to the Warden.
[12.06.2018 23:01:45] NO-I-Premonition: Alright, then.
[12.06.2018 23:02:06] NO-I-Premonition: Then I believe my work's done.
[12.06.2018 23:02:18] NO-I-Premonition: ... oh come on...
[12.06.2018 23:02:29] NO-I-Premonition: *the clicking of many switches comes over comms*
[12.06.2018 23:02:29] GG-W-Flora: Is... There a problem?
[12.06.2018 23:02:37] NO-I-Premonition: I *have* to get this Prism prototype replaced
[12.06.2018 23:02:48] NO-I-Premonition: Didn't want my ship offline for two weeks to do it, but...
[12.06.2018 23:02:54] NO-I-Premonition: There, finally
[12.06.2018 23:02:59] GG-W-Flora: What is a prism?
[12.06.2018 23:03:17] NO-I-Premonition: It's a combined thrust and reactor system Aquila designed for long-range operations
[12.06.2018 23:03:33] NO-I-Premonition: The production model's quite stable, but they tested it in the Premonition
[12.06.2018 23:03:53] NO-I-Premonition: and I've been trying to avoid dealing with my ship being rebuilt to replace the prototype.
[12.06.2018 23:04:05] GG-W-Flora: Hm. I see.
[12.06.2018 23:04:22] GG-W-Flora: I bid you luck with the prototype working correctly, then.
[12.06.2018 23:04:37] NO-I-Premonition: Seems to be in gear now, just has some issues getting started sometimes.
[12.06.2018 23:04:55] GG-W-Flora: Fair enough.
[12.06.2018 23:05:01] GG-W-Flora: Have a safe flight, then.
[12.06.2018 23:05:03] NO-I-Premonition: You too.
So, the Gaians can help... possibly. They'll be in touch.
Kane, note the logs. If you don't want to review the whole thing, just search for your name. But you probably should.
To: Octavarium Intelligence Commission; Taskmaster Harold Kane
Subject: Encounter with Maltese Rebels and SIS Encryption:Very. Location: Melbourne Station, Tau-44
Another successful evening.
Agent Corona and I responded to reports of a Maltese vessel of the so-called 72nd Fleet in the Tau-37 system this evening. We dragged along a rookie from the Fleet -- a new bandit named Deacon -- who proved to be very useful in the operation. Along the way we encountered an agent from the Bretonian Secret Intelligence Service. Attached below is the full visual-range transmission transcript and a log of foreign vessels documented in the exchange.
[14.06.2018 02:10:21] NO-I-Prophecy: Evening.
[14.06.2018 02:10:29] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Hola, pilotes.
[14.06.2018 02:10:35] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: // pilots*
[14.06.2018 02:11:11] NO-I-Prophecy: Curious as to what your transponder tag is about.
[14.06.2018 02:11:21] NO-I-Prophecy: I did not know there were seventy-two fleets in the Maltese Navy.
[14.06.2018 02:11:29] NO-Erin.Deacon: Dont believe there are.
[14.06.2018 02:11:48] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: There aren't, amigo. It's there for legacy reasons.
[14.06.2018 02:11:50] NO-Erin.Deacon: Not that I'd know exactly really.
[14.06.2018 02:12:02] NO-I-Prophecy: Legacy reasons?
[14.06.2018 02:12:15] NO-I-Prophecy: I didn't know the Maltese Navy had at any point seventy-two battlegroups.
[14.06.2018 02:12:28] NO-Erin.Deacon: Again, don't believe they ever did.
[14.06.2018 02:12:28] NO-I-Prophecy: Just curious is all.
[14.06.2018 02:12:51] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I believe it is more of a 'successor' counter.
[14.06.2018 02:12:52] NO-I-Paranoid: Lots of fighter squadrons, though I think some of it was sequential numbering instead of simultaneous
[14.06.2018 02:13:05] NO-I-Prophecy: Interesting.
[14.06.2018 02:13:22] NO-I-Prophecy: You uh, associated with the National Council or something?
[14.06.2018 02:13:42] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Oh, no.
[14.06.2018 02:13:45] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Of course not
[14.06.2018 02:13:48] NO-Erin.Deacon: Or those other Maltese chaps... Amari Doctors or whatever?
[14.06.2018 02:14:28] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Hm.. was not aware of another division..
[14.06.2018 02:14:41] ZenMaul: Nice ship 72nd
[14.06.2018 02:14:51] NO-Erin.Deacon: ... "division"... do you mean famiglia?
[14.06.2018 02:15:14] NO-I-Prophecy: I don't think that's what they're called, but yes, the Amalfi Directorate *she coughs* is a good group of friends of ours.
[14.06.2018 02:15:46] NO-Erin.Deacon: Ah, gotchya. Sorry, newbie here.
[14.06.2018 02:15:51] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Interesting..
[14.06.2018 02:15:57] NO-I-Prophecy: Interesting, how?
[14.06.2018 02:16:18] NO-I-Paranoid: Feels like I'm gonna be here for a bit...
[14.06.2018 02:16:52] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I suspect our low profile might be working against us, then..
[14.06.2018 02:17:07] NO-I-Paranoid: [ System status check initiated ]
[14.06.2018 02:17:09] NO-I-Prophecy: Likewise.
[14.06.2018 02:18:04] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Apologies, but this is the first I'm hearing about this.. 'Amalfi Directorate'..
[14.06.2018 02:18:25] NO-I-Prophecy: Really? Because that looks like a destroyer, not a cryo-stasis carrier.
[14.06.2018 02:18:33] NO-Erin.Deacon: Well apparently they're friends of the Octavarium. News to me but I just started here.
[14.06.2018 02:19:09] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Perhaps the Senor has been too occupied with formation than speading intelligence...
[14.06.2018 02:19:29] NO-I-Prophecy: Mm. Agent Mindcrime, by the way. And you are?
[14.06.2018 02:19:56] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Colonal Jose Vargas, Republic of Malta Armed Forces.
[14.06.2018 02:20:01] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: A pleasure.
[14.06.2018 02:20:10] NO-I-Prophecy: There's a Republic of Malta?
[14.06.2018 02:20:17] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si.
[14.06.2018 02:20:19] NO-Erin.Deacon: *snrk*
[14.06.2018 02:20:46] NO-I-Prophecy: Ms. Deacon, are you looking at funny cat photos over there or is there something you'd like to share with the class?
[14.06.2018 02:21:18] NO-Erin.Deacon: Nope. Just uh.. checking spacebook and someone made a funny political joke. Nothing to worry about.
[14.06.2018 02:22:09] NO-I-Prophecy: Mmhmm.
[14.06.2018 02:22:28] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: We've been... somewhat active for I suspect a few months now..
[14.06.2018 02:22:34] NO-I-Prophecy: So... that reaction to the Council. Are you not big fans of theirs?
[14.06.2018 02:22:54] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: The Council? No..
[14.06.2018 02:23:21] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: They'd rather enlist the help of nomadic infectees than aid their own people..
[14.06.2018 02:23:31] NO-I-Prophecy: Odd. I thought I said Council, not Commune.
[14.06.2018 02:23:33] NO-Erin.Deacon: "Aid their own people"
[14.06.2018 02:23:45] NO-Erin.Deacon: care to explain?
[14.06.2018 02:23:52] NO-Erin.Deacon: you have my curiosity
[14.06.2018 02:24:04] NO-I-Prophecy: Mine as well.
[14.06.2018 02:24:12] NO-I-Paranoid: Yep, I'm listenin'
[14.06.2018 02:24:13] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I suspect the term 'slavery' is known to you? Cartel?
[14.06.2018 02:24:32] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: No bounds the corrupted Councilmen will go to to further their own goals..
[14.06.2018 02:24:41] NO-Erin.Deacon: Yeah I know. Thats how they do things: workers are brought from their enslaved positions in Liberty, and are given --
[14.06.2018 02:24:47] NO-I-Prophecy: Oh, hello there.
[14.06.2018 02:24:48] NO-Erin.Deacon: safety and housing on Malta in exchange for work.
[14.06.2018 02:24:55] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Hello again.
[14.06.2018 02:25:00] NO-Erin.Deacon: Found that out from a friend of mine during my junker days.
[14.06.2018 02:25:06] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Hola once more, Bretonian.
[14.06.2018 02:25:07] NO-Erin.Deacon: Thought it was common knowledge.
[14.06.2018 02:25:09] NO-I-Paranoid: [ Shield system scan complete. Scanner system check initiated ]
[14.06.2018 02:25:20] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si.. it's sickening, to be honest..
[14.06.2018 02:25:45] NO-Erin.Deacon: Is it? They're released after a set time from what I know. Given new lives and new opportunities.
[14.06.2018 02:25:46] NO-I-Prophecy: So... you're not aligned with the interests of the reigning Maltese families,s then?
[14.06.2018 02:25:48] NO-Erin.Deacon: That not the case?
[14.06.2018 02:26:30] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Would you prefer a man stolen from his own to be taught a new life elsewhere?
[14.06.2018 02:26:49] NO-Erin.Deacon: I mean most of them were already enslaved in Liberty by their corporage giants
[14.06.2018 02:26:50] NO-I-Prophecy: Agent... Skirka? I think I'm pronouncing that correctly. It's good to see fellow agents of the right side of life out here.
[14.06.2018 02:26:56] NO-Erin.Deacon: Liberty's kinda a hellhole like that.
[14.06.2018 02:27:22] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Slavery is far different than employment.
[14.06.2018 02:27:22] [SIS]-James.Skirka: A rare few, yes, it is.
[14.06.2018 02:27:26] NO-I-Prophecy: I
[14.06.2018 02:27:31] NO-I-Prophecy: Hrm.
[14.06.2018 02:28:19] NO-I-Prophecy: So, going back to my question, Captain. Are you... not working in the same interests as the reigning families?
[14.06.2018 02:29:22] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si. We work for the interests of our own people, which include those brought to Malta against their will.
[14.06.2018 02:29:50] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Your 'Own people'? Are you with the exiles?
[14.06.2018 02:30:17] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: In a way, yes. They have been rather helpful in keeping the Fleet alive during our time away from the homeland.
[14.06.2018 02:30:40] NO-I-Paranoid: and if they continue their war against friends of Bretonia after the one thing it makes sense to go to war over is resolved...
[14.06.2018 02:30:58] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What..?
[14.06.2018 02:31:15] NO-Erin.Deacon: also: what
[14.06.2018 02:31:17] NO-I-Prophecy: So... what's your thoughts on Bretonia?
[14.06.2018 02:31:21] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Someone get the National Council on the line..
[14.06.2018 02:31:48] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Without Bretonia, we wouldn't have much of an array of allies..
[14.06.2018 02:31:50] [SIS]-James.Skirka: What do I think? To be honest, I can make neither heads nor tails of this.
[14.06.2018 02:32:24] NO-I-Paranoid: Really, now? Hm.
[14.06.2018 02:32:59] NO-I-Prophecy: Hrm.
[14.06.2018 02:33:07] NO-I-Prophecy: So this all leads me to another interesting question.
[14.06.2018 02:33:17] NO-I-Prophecy: Who in the region are you allied with?
[14.06.2018 02:33:17] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Do ask.
[14.06.2018 02:33:45] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: The Kingdom, the Crayterians..
[14.06.2018 02:33:54] NO-I-Prophecy: The Kingdom?
[14.06.2018 02:34:01] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Bretonia.
[14.06.2018 02:34:06] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Empire.
[14.06.2018 02:34:21] NO-I-Prophecy: I figured that was the title, yes.
[14.06.2018 02:34:25] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Get it right.
[14.06.2018 02:34:36] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Ah. We were under the understanding it was still the 'United Kingdom of Bretonia'.
[14.06.2018 02:34:56] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I will notify my command.. have that issue ironed out..
[14.06.2018 02:35:11] NO-I-Prophecy: And we were under the impression it was still the Nacion de Malta.
[14.06.2018 02:35:23] NO-I-Paranoid: Your accent needs work there, M.
[14.06.2018 02:35:39] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: For now, I suppose it is.
[14.06.2018 02:35:48] NO-Erin.Deacon: "For now" ?
[14.06.2018 02:35:51] NO-I-Prophecy: I took Kusari cultural classes in college, not Maltese.
[14.06.2018 02:36:19] NO-Erin.Deacon: I just hauled cargo in college. Only schooling I really got was some online courses. Good way to pursue education, actually.
[14.06.2018 02:36:35] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si. Maltese culture has a semi-useful habit of collapsing once the people understand the truth.
[14.06.2018 02:36:35] NO-I-Prophecy: Mainly because they don't offer Maltese cultural classes at the Kutztown University on Erie.
[14.06.2018 02:36:45] NO-I-Prophecy: The truth?
[14.06.2018 02:37:25] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: They disposed of the Cross for their acceptance of the Nomads.. they'll dispose of the Council the same way.
[14.06.2018 02:37:46] NO-I-Prophecy: They?
[14.06.2018 02:37:46] NO-Erin.Deacon: The council doesn't do that though from what I've been told..
[14.06.2018 02:38:10] NO-Erin.Deacon: In fact they're not a big fan of the jellyfish if I've been informed correctly.
[14.06.2018 02:38:15] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: What you've been told isn't always reality, amigo.
[14.06.2018 02:38:23] NO-I-Prophecy: Forgive me. The last time I was really interested in illegal Maltese rebellions, it was the Contari Uprising.
[14.06.2018 02:38:28] NO-Erin.Deacon: Same could be said for you - ameegoh
[14.06.2018 02:38:37] NO-I-Paranoid: Right, so I'm filing this one more on the Harmony end of the scale, less on the Dragon end...
[14.06.2018 02:38:45] NO-I-Prophecy: *cough* C, you cannot give me hell about my pronunciation anymore.
[14.06.2018 02:38:58] NO-I-Paranoid: Sure I can. I expect less from the Fleet.
[14.06.2018 02:39:08] NO-Erin.Deacon: Ouch. Rude.
[14.06.2018 02:39:15] NO-I-Prophecy: Dang.
[14.06.2018 02:39:16] NO-Erin.Deacon: Gonna need a burn heal for that one.
[14.06.2018 02:39:25] NO-I-Prophecy: We'll get you some medi-gel back in 44.
[14.06.2018 02:39:47] NO-I-Prophecy: Or Victoria or whatever Kane is calling it.
[14.06.2018 02:39:56] NO-I-Paranoid: So, help me out Skirka
[14.06.2018 02:40:00] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I don't expect newly informed individuals to fully accept what we are.
[14.06.2018 02:40:10] NO-I-Paranoid: Bretonia still doesn't have a full-on uprising, right?
[14.06.2018 02:40:18] NO-I-Prophecy: I don't believe they do.
[14.06.2018 02:40:25] NO-I-Paranoid: Be nice to have *one* place that doesn't have a civil war brewing.
[14.06.2018 02:40:39] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I don't see any documentation indicating an alliance with the crown sir.
[14.06.2018 02:40:40] NO-I-Prophecy: I mean, there's the illegal occupation in Leeds of course.
[14.06.2018 02:41:08] NO-I-Paranoid: ... M, I'm sending some scan data I need corroborated
[14.06.2018 02:41:20] NO-I-Paranoid: I don't *think* my Limelight system is malfunctioning, but I've got some weird-ass readings
[14.06.2018 02:41:26] NO-I-Prophecy: Confirm, will receive and doublecheck.
[14.06.2018 02:41:28] [SIS]-James.Skirka: There was one account of one of your ships being seen with the leader of the Maltese Exiles.
[14.06.2018 02:42:12] NO-I-Prophecy: Yeah, I see them too.
[14.06.2018 02:42:34] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Is there an issue with the Exiles we should be aware of?
[14.06.2018 02:42:36] NO-I-Prophecy: Looks like a smudge on the screen to me.
[14.06.2018 02:42:38] NO-I-Paranoid: Huh. I'll have Aquila look over them later, see if they match any known regional anomalies.
[14.06.2018 02:43:07] [SIS]-James.Skirka: The Exiles are not permitted in Bretonia.
[14.06.2018 02:43:15] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I see..
[14.06.2018 02:43:26] NO-I-Prophecy: Granted I don't have a full Limelight set on this thing.
[14.06.2018 02:43:57] NO-I-Paranoid: That's why I had you check, got some weird experimental mods on this one I wanted to make sure weren't breaking anything.
[14.06.2018 02:44:30] NO-I-Paranoid: Anomalies don't normally move like that.
[14.06.2018 02:44:32] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I cannot find any evidence supporting your claims sir.
[14.06.2018 02:44:42] NO-Erin.Deacon: Oof.
[14.06.2018 02:44:46] NO-I-Prophecy: We'll discuss this after we RTB, agent.
[14.06.2018 02:44:53] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I am unaware of any buisness you have had with the crown.
[14.06.2018 02:45:49] NO-I-Prophecy: This is mostly Prism modifications. Could have been a similar issue, just from different components.
[14.06.2018 02:45:54] NO-I-Paranoid: [ Tractor system evaluation complete. ]
[14.06.2018 02:46:03] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I believe at the very least we've offered our services in the way of... 'bounty hunting'..? Royalists, of course..
[14.06.2018 02:46:04] NO-I-Paranoid: Friggin' thing...
[14.06.2018 02:46:30] NO-I-Prophecy: Interesting.
[14.06.2018 02:47:45] NO-I-Prophecy: One other question, captain Vargas.
[14.06.2018 02:47:50] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Of course.
[14.06.2018 02:48:12] NO-I-Prophecy: You mentioned Crayterians were your allies and the National Council were your enemies, but you also claim to be of Malta.
[14.06.2018 02:48:20] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si.
[14.06.2018 02:48:30] NO-Erin.Deacon: Dont think thats how that works pal...
[14.06.2018 02:48:42] NO-I-Prophecy: I'm trying to find a pleasant way to phrase this.
[14.06.2018 02:48:48] NO-I-Prophecy: But have you a history of self-harm?
[14.06.2018 02:49:02] NO-I-Prophecy: Because you seem really at odds with yourself and your people here.
[14.06.2018 02:49:11] NO-I-Paranoid: I would say that tends to also involve a history of drug use, buuuuut...
[14.06.2018 02:49:12] NO-I-Prophecy: And, judging by the rebel flags, authority.
[14.06.2018 02:49:20] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I beg your pardon?
[14.06.2018 02:49:56] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I have no issue with authority, amigo. I'll happily follow Senor Santiago and the Presidente to the end.
[14.06.2018 02:50:02] NO-I-Prophecy: You're allied with enemies of the Maltese people and reigning Maltese factions, though, right?
[14.06.2018 02:50:09] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si.
[14.06.2018 02:50:31] NO-I-Prophecy: And you're apparently installing a new government in Malta despite there being a reigning family on Malta?
[14.06.2018 02:50:47] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Hold the phone...one of your lot owes us an explanation it seems.
[14.06.2018 02:51:08] NO-I-Paranoid: Take the lead then Skirk. I wanna hear this.
[14.06.2018 02:51:21] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Do explain, Bretonian.
[14.06.2018 02:51:45] [SIS]-James.Skirka: A 72nd was caught attacking a Privateer within Bretonian space.
[14.06.2018 02:51:52] NO-Erin.Deacon: -Oh.-
[14.06.2018 02:51:56] NO-I-Prophecy: Oh?
[14.06.2018 02:51:59] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: That's... unusual..
[14.06.2018 02:52:03] NO-Erin.Deacon: Aaaaaawkwaaaaard.
[14.06.2018 02:52:05] NO-I-Paranoid: Yeah that's a word for it.
[14.06.2018 02:52:06] [SIS]-James.Skirka: He never offered any explanation and left before charges could be levied.
[14.06.2018 02:52:19] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Did you happen to note the pilot's name, by chance?
[14.06.2018 02:52:41] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Leonardo Valdez.
[14.06.2018 02:53:14] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Hm.. that's interesting..
[14.06.2018 02:53:32] NO-Erin.Deacon: I'd get that squared with your 'ally', if I were you ameegoh.
[14.06.2018 02:53:46] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I'll notify the Admiralty.. what would the fine be for such, pilot?
[14.06.2018 02:54:02] NO-I-Paranoid: I feel like you're forcing that one, Deacon.
[14.06.2018 02:54:24] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Assault, disturbing the peace, disobeying the orders of a crown offical.
[14.06.2018 02:54:31] NO-Erin.Deacon: I'm entitled to make whatever gramatical screw-ups I like.
[14.06.2018 02:54:33] NO-I-Prophecy: It honestly sounds like you're trying to mispronounce amigo.
[14.06.2018 02:54:56] NO-Erin.Deacon: As is my right by... actually hang on, I haven't read the Natio's legal code yet... crap.
[14.06.2018 02:55:25] NO-I-Paranoid: I mean, obviously we're not gonna regulate how you talk, we're not friggin' Rheinland
[14.06.2018 02:55:37] NO-Erin.Deacon: Aaah Rheinland.
[14.06.2018 02:55:39] NO-Erin.Deacon: Good times.
[14.06.2018 02:55:45] NO-I-Paranoid: That is one persistent anomaly. Like the dust that just won't get out of your eye.
[14.06.2018 02:56:08] NO-I-Prophecy: Yeah, I'm going to need to talk to V about getting Aquila to do a whole new set of scanners for the Commission.
[14.06.2018 02:57:02] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: If possible, I'd like to know how much Senor Valdez's actions would be fined for..
[14.06.2018 02:57:37] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I can notify the Treasury and have them mend this... unusual circumstance..
[14.06.2018 02:57:42] NO-I-Prophecy: Evening, Miner.
[14.06.2018 02:57:48] Geoffrey.Chaucer: Hello.
[14.06.2018 02:58:06] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Seven Million credits would be the grand total.
[14.06.2018 02:58:17] Geoffrey.Chaucer: A pacifict cruiser.
[14.06.2018 02:58:36] NO-I-Paranoid: Friend, I think you're a bit lost.
[14.06.2018 02:58:50] NO-I-Prophecy: I think we're all a bit lost in life.
[14.06.2018 02:58:56] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Understood. I'll notify the Treasurer.. is there any visual evidence of this act still in existance?
[14.06.2018 02:59:08] NO-I-Paranoid: M, I just... no, okay.
[14.06.2018 02:59:10] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I will have to look into that matter.
[14.06.2018 02:59:21] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I'm uncertain right off the top of my head.
[14.06.2018 02:59:40] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: If you find any, I'm sure the Admiralty would want to see it..
[14.06.2018 02:59:42] NO-I-Paranoid: Fighters are usually a poor platform for carrying evidence anyway.
[14.06.2018 03:01:10] NO-I-Prophecy: It's an interesting situation isn't it?
[14.06.2018 03:01:18] FLS-Independence: Is it?
[14.06.2018 03:01:22] Geoffrey.Chaucer: What a bizarre standoff.
[14.06.2018 03:01:31] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Such an array of colors..
[14.06.2018 03:01:39] NO-I-Prophecy: We live in bizarre times.
[14.06.2018 03:01:47] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Si.. no argument there.
[14.06.2018 03:02:19] FLS-Independence: Whats sakin here?
[14.06.2018 03:02:26] NO-Erin.Deacon: quite the array of ships here...
[14.06.2018 03:02:40] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I trust the mining efforts go well, Miner.
[14.06.2018 03:02:44] NO-I-Paranoid: Usualy these gatherings happen at a Freeport, not an ice cloud...
[14.06.2018 03:02:46] NO-I-Prophecy: I haven't actually seen one of those things up close before.
[14.06.2018 03:02:50] Geoffrey.Chaucer: They go really well indeed.
[14.06.2018 03:03:17] NO-I-Paranoid: Hmm. Sizable, solid, respectable power scans...
[14.06.2018 03:03:23] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Good.
[14.06.2018 03:03:39] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: I trust you won't find any issues going forward.
[14.06.2018 03:03:42] NO-I-Paranoid: Independence, what's your crew complement, if you don't mind me asking?
[14.06.2018 03:04:03] FLS-Independence: "Complement"?
[14.06.2018 03:04:30] NO-I-Paranoid: alright I'll dumb it down, how many people are working on your boat
[14.06.2018 03:04:37] NO-Erin.Deacon: Beat me to it.
[14.06.2018 03:04:40] Geoffrey.Chaucer: *chuckles*
[14.06.2018 03:04:51] NO-Erin.Deacon: Ah well. Back to checking Spacebook.
[14.06.2018 03:05:12] FLS-Independence: All my crew are robots for now, cheaper than hire crew to be honest
[14.06.2018 03:05:30] FLS-Independence: And who's asking by the way?
[14.06.2018 03:05:33] NO-I-Paranoid: Huh. That would make sense, actually.
[14.06.2018 03:05:50] NO-I-Paranoid: Corona, Octavarium Intelligence Commission. We've been considering one of those carriers in the near future.
[14.06.2018 03:06:04] NO-I-Prophecy: Mindcrime, OIC as well.
[14.06.2018 03:06:11] FLS-Independence: Octavarium... I think i heard of that
[14.06.2018 03:06:20] NO-I-Paranoid: well that's an improvement
[14.06.2018 03:06:48] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: If it's all well, we'll return to port in Tau, pilots.
[14.06.2018 03:06:55] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: Fly safely.
[14.06.2018 03:07:09] NO-Erin.Deacon: Yeah sure.. Good luck and whatnot.
[14.06.2018 03:07:15] 72nd|MNS-Santa.Maria: Vargas: You as well.
[14.06.2018 03:07:18] FLS-Independence: Its a good ship indeed, for support, survey and moving fleets, but my main quest is exploring the Sirius wide
[14.06.2018 03:07:33] NO-I-Paranoid: Yeah, definitely want somethin' sturdy and comfortable for that.
[14.06.2018 03:07:34] NO-I-Prophecy: I'd say good flying, but he's already gone.
[14.06.2018 03:08:18] NO-I-Paranoid: Right, our work's done I think. And I've got to stretch my legs.
[14.06.2018 03:08:47] NO-I-Paranoid: Safe travels, Independence.
[14.06.2018 03:08:51] FLS-Independence: Who are the Octavarium?
[14.06.2018 03:09:00] NO-Erin.Deacon: Yo.
[14.06.2018 03:09:04] FLS-Independence: Thanks, you too
[14.06.2018 03:09:10] NO-I-Prophecy: Natio Octavarium, a microstate nearby.
[14.06.2018 03:09:31] FLS-Independence: And where is the HQ of that microstate? I swear i hard it somewhere...
[14.06.2018 03:09:44] NO-I-Paranoid: M over there can elaborate I think. There's a bar on Freeport 10 calling my name.
[14.06.2018 03:09:55] NO-I-Prophecy: Look us up on the neural net. We're in and around the Taus. Always looking for new pilots and citizens.
[14.06.2018 03:10:08] FLS-Independence: Hmm... Alright
[14.06.2018 03:10:26] FLS-Independence: Hey, SIS, need to go somewhere?
[14.06.2018 03:10:40] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Er..do I?
[14.06.2018 03:10:59] NO-I-Prophecy: Skirka, good to see your people out here. We'll make sure the Melbourne dockmasters will admit you next time you're in the area
[14.06.2018 03:11:04] FLS-Independence: If you want i can warp you to Omega-49, and from there to Dublin back to Bretonian space
[14.06.2018 03:11:11] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Thank you.
[14.06.2018 03:11:21] [SIS]-James.Skirka: I'll take that trip.
[14.06.2018 03:11:22] NO-I-Prophecy: Take care.
[14.06.2018 03:11:31] FLS-Independence: For a small fee of course
[14.06.2018 03:11:36] [SIS]-James.Skirka: Of course..

The long and short of it -- the 72nd is an outfit of politically and sociologically dangerous Maltese rebels that oppose the ruling parties in the Maltese sphere of influence including the National Council of Malta and the Amalfi Union, and are attempting to install a new government under the banner of the Republic of Malta in alliance with the Crayter Republic. They also publicly accused the National Council of being infected and compromised by the Nomads; in my expert opinion I do not believe this to be the case due to known public disagreements between the National Council and its allies and the Commune -- an actually confirmed Nomad-influenced splinter group. An attending SIS agent, James Skirka, was present for all of these accusations, though at one point we believe he was actively using cloaking technology to observe the discussions.
I apologize to the superiors who read this log for my initial forthright admission of our allegiances to the Amalfi Directorate. It served as a springboard to allow the 72nd capital ship's captain to begin spewing information near-freely at us. I believe it was necessary to garner immediate results.
Agent Corona was a solid tag-team partner on this one. I would be very open to more joint operational efforts with her in the future.
Subject: Phoenix Report Encryption:Burns While Read Location: Freeport 10
Did a sweep of a few systems for the Phoenix project. We gotta get a better name for this op by the way. Just sayin'. Had a bit of a run with Mindcrime after I got back, but she's covered that.
First up, Cortez:
Attachment found:Image
Oceana Shipping Platform. Publicly-accessible Gateway base. Visible from Curacao mooring, not of any strategic note. Seems like a stopover for ore sometimes, but nothing there right now.
Next, Magellan. Attachment found:Image
I passed by the local Gallic brick for a recon scan. The Tau-31 camo doesn't work so well down in Magellan. They haven't replaced the depot that... someone destroyed. We ever find out what happened there?
Inverness. Attachment found:Image
The Junkyard. Junker-operated freeport. Holy shit the weapon selection there. I haven't seen this many black-market guns in one place since... uh, let's not get into that. Anyway, this isn't part of the contract, and I don't want those stuffy Brets shutting the place down. Way too useful.
Attachment found:Image
A scan probe identified the system on the other side of this hole as a very bad place. So I stopped there. Due to certain known variables in the southern half of the system, my scan kept to the north.
Attachment found:Image
Shiranui, is this the Forres the Gaians were talking about? Because there's no goddamn way this place is livable. Between the heat even at the poles and the humidity that comes with a planet that has to be about 95% ocean... no. No way in hell.
I did a run around the Taus and found fuck-all. They've got a ship stationed, no point recording a location. It's a ship. Not a single installation of note, either for the contract or for our own reference. Known complications limit their work.
One stage of the project remains. I can already guess, but I'll get it done anyway.
Subject: Phoenix Report Encryption:Burns While Read Location: Moonless, Planet Curacao
Final cleanup on the Phoenix project. Provence is confirmed to have nothing. The Guild's seen nothing in Lorraine, and I trust Morris. Updates in Coronado though.

That "Valhalla" that Mindcrime mentioned doesn't seem to be there anymore. Instead there's this, Sabah Research Section. We do have access.
Attachment found:Image
Got a picture of Glendalough, since Mindcrime's scanner malfunctioned. Weird place for Crayter. Maybe a friendly party.
So, with my job done, I'm chilling on Curacao for a bit. Got a few people here that owe me a favor - long story - so I'm gonna have some fun. Watch a couple rich idiots try to surf on a planet with no tides, watch some other people attempt to race atmospheric shuttles. You know, just watching tourists be tourists.

E,
We have a problem. A big god damned problem.
*A gunshot can be heard in the background. It can likely be heard from the office of the person the message is directed to. It should probably be seen to by a damage control team just in case.*
While discussing some interesting materials with Victor Kijima of the Kijima Blood Dragon clan, including how he's actually a goddamn deep cover SIS agent -- but let's put a cork in that one for now -- that weird little girl from the Ando clan showed up and started threatening him. Which, y'know, kind of weird, but who am I to get into the affairs of quarrelling clans. I just told them to make sure they don't drag any shooting into Tau-44. And, well, that's kind of not the point, but that's the way life goes. Bombardier Lundin happened to be there too. They moved into Tau-37 to discuss things and we followed a few minutes later.
And then a Kusari heavy fighter showed up, claiming to be from a Kusari intelligence organization that no one heard of. And then he started shooting.
You know that blue glow? That distinctive blue glow that we've seen before on certain ships in Kansas? The blue glow that usually gets dealt with by organizations like the Core, and the Order? Yeah. That blue glow. It was there. I saw it with my own two goddamned eyes coming out of that ship's thruster.
Both Dragons were forced to eject. So was Lundin. Then a pilot from the SCRA showed up to talk about an arms deal. Something about us buying military-grade ordnance packages from Volgograd. And then they got attacked by the god damn unknown you-know-what-that-probably-is. Almost lost his ship but the two of us managed to shake the thing and decided we'd rather talk later.
This crap keeps following us around. It's time for that to end, permanently. I'm calling every Nomad specialist I can think of. You'll be on the line of course.
[16.06.2018 03:59:17] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Hrm.
[16.06.2018 03:59:20] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Kite 1, contact.
[16.06.2018 03:59:28] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Confirm.
[16.06.2018 03:59:28] BD|An.-Homura: It looks like a stray bird founds it's way to where it shouldn't stride.
[16.06.2018 03:59:39] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Yes, but you're still here.
[16.06.2018 03:59:52] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Bombardier.
[16.06.2018 03:59:56] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Old habits.
[16.06.2018 04:00:02] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Homura, this man is a guest of the Natio.
[16.06.2018 04:00:31] BD|An.-Homura: Sure. Just keep it away from Ando business.
[16.06.2018 04:00:42] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: I go where I please ma'm.
[16.06.2018 04:00:47] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: This is a jump hole. Unless you're laying claim to the system, this anomaly is not your business.
[16.06.2018 04:01:09] BD|An.-Homura: Then i might shoot you whenever i please, filthy Gaijin.
[16.06.2018 04:01:15] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Try me.
[16.06.2018 04:01:24] BD|An.-Homura: I am not talking to you.
[16.06.2018 04:01:26] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: You..dare..?
[16.06.2018 04:01:36] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Sorry, you come into our home and call *us* foreigners?
[16.06.2018 04:01:41] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Piss off with that nonsense.
[16.06.2018 04:01:48] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: And threaten our guests.
[16.06.2018 04:01:50] BD|An.-Homura: I am talking to that one.
[16.06.2018 04:02:09] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: I take great personal offense to my friends being threatened in my back yard.
[16.06.2018 04:02:09] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: 'That one' has a name that I INSIST you use.
[16.06.2018 04:02:33] BD|An.-Homura: I will deal with this one later.
[16.06.2018 04:02:39] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: [ Status check... systems green. Status: Alert. ]
[16.06.2018 04:02:48] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: You'll do it outside of my friggin system.
[16.06.2018 04:02:55] BD|An.-Homura: Yes. Certainly.
[16.06.2018 04:03:05] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: YOUR SYSTEM?
[16.06.2018 04:03:18] BD|An.-Homura: They live there.
[16.06.2018 04:03:18] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Yes.
[16.06.2018 04:03:23] BD|An.-Homura: If you don't know that yet.
[16.06.2018 04:03:32] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: Oh..I thought you said that.
[16.06.2018 04:03:38] BD|An.-Homura: What else could you expect from an silly annoying dork.
[16.06.2018 04:03:56] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: that was a weak-ass insult. * Homura and Kijima jump to Tau-37. *
[16.06.2018 04:06:51] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Yep. That hole's still green.
[16.06.2018 04:07:09] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: I've never understood why different regions have different coloured jump holes.
[16.06.2018 04:07:17] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: It's fairly consistent, too.
[16.06.2018 04:07:27] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Local mineral and gas deposits, probably.
[16.06.2018 04:07:39] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: You know how the Walker Nebula's basically the defining feature of the Omegas? Things like that.
[16.06.2018 04:07:49] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Spatial anomalies are...
[16.06.2018 04:07:56] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: I guess anomolous is the right word.
[16.06.2018 04:08:02] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: That sounder smarter in my head.
[16.06.2018 04:08:04] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Not as much as Ageira wants people to think.
[16.06.2018 04:08:47] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: There's patterns there, safe ways to use them.
[16.06.2018 04:08:54] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: Used them a lot in my... old jobs. * Lundin and I jump to Tau-37 to check in on the Dragons. An unknown Kusari vessel appears out of nowhere. *
[16.06.2018 04:10:23] Itsu-5|Aoi: KNI Itsu-5 reporting in.
[16.06.2018 04:10:24] BD|An.-Homura: I guess we have more important things to deal with.
[16.06.2018 04:10:36] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: Indeed.
[16.06.2018 04:10:43] NO-F-Kyle.Lundin: KNI. Not something I want here.
[16.06.2018 04:10:45] NO-F-Harold.Kane*: Hrm.
[16.06.2018 04:11:07] BD|An.-Homura: Natio, this vessel is beyond your concern. Leave this to us.
[16.06.2018 04:11:15] Itsu-5|Aoi: Unidentified vessels (2), Blood Dragon vessles (2).
[16.06.2018 04:11:27] BD|K-Victor.Kijima: Homura, please
