I doubt something could've left after consuming by Red Giant.
Nothing would resist after the red giant went supernova. Gate, jumpholes, etc. Dead system et all. All that did resisted was the remains of the star's core with the scribble of "Reavers were here."
Quote:We really want to shake things up in the next update and move the story forward in a way that will be exciting and apocalyptic.
Can we for once have a story that at least makes a faint amount of sense, please?
Quote:With the GMG having rejected Rheinland's ultimatum to leave Saigon orbit and dismantle Ibusuki Construction Site, the Battleship Bayern moved to destroy the installation in a thorough attack that obliterated the station - and anyone unfortunate enough to be in the combat zone. The collateral destruction of the Survey Vessel Unzen and the deaths of Kishiro employees - particularly that of Akemi Yamashita, a high profile Kishiro executive with connections to the Kusari government - at the hands of Rheinland was regarded by Kusari as a casus belli that demanded an immediate military response.
So a few updates ago GMG attack a Kusari planet and take it over, Kusari gets angry at GMG and now they suddenly feel the need to support them and Kishiro despite the fact that by player actions Kusari was looking into getting a deal with Corsairs
smh
Quote:Within days of the incident, Rheinland forces in Sigma-21 were attacked by strike wings from the KNF's Hyono battlegroup
Wtf is Hyono, why aren't we using any existing Kusari battleships for this, what's the point of adding new, why is Kusari suddenly pulling entire battlegroups out of their ass despite being just after a civil war which should have been devastating economically
Quote:the Omega-2 system. A protostar with a resource-rich debris disc deep within the Border Worlds
That is an exact copy of omega-9 layout-wise but is far uglier than omega-11 it should have visually replaced, but for no real reason we chose the eyesore that is cayman but at least it has mining zones in it so it's fine
Quote:In the midst of these events, there has been a revelation in Rheinland itself; Konigsberg
>dev team make a new system in rheinland
>they don't call it Memmingen
>instead they call it something that's not even german anymore
>some planets don't even have infocards
System dev team garbage confirmed.
Also, joking aside, the names "Danzig Fragments", "Elbing Base", "Planet Braunsburg" and "Planet Dirschau" actually offensive and I would appreciate if you renamed it, either to proper and current Polish names or to something different entirely.
Quote:The return of the Emperor to Kusari and the rise of the Reformed Empire following the Civil War brought hope for a new era of prosperity, but also
nobody actually knows what's going on and what was the point of the civil war and then what was the point of actually ending it while everyone pretends they actually do know what's going on but nobody can agree on anything concrete.
You tried.
Quote:a Bretonian recon flight discovered an unusual new Gallic installation: Issoudun Drydock, a mobile repair station with an accompanying factory ship that dwarfs most battleships
helo were is construction rp : DDDDDDDDD
No, seriously, it would be nice of we could RP construction of NPC bases instead of POB which are ♋ and should be removed from the mod.
Quote:Ageira and Deep Space Engineering continue work on the Super Gate in Poole
Ok so I was not supposed to leak 4.91 but I'm gonna because I don't care

>bretonia and liberty wins the war

Legit question, why was that base there in the first place?

~1000 people PMC vs 600 million mexicans
who's gonna win that i wonder
Quote:The Corsair incursion into Dresden has fared better than its counterpart in Frankfurt, with the Battleship Athos and her armada evading the Hessians in the Walker Nebula. Ironically, the Athos' actions in Dresden are inadvertently helping Rheinland by drawing the Hessians away from the core systems and buying the Military the time and resources to focus on the Sigma theatre.
>let's do something illogical because corsairs are idiots irp
There's no point for Corsairs to pursue any conflict with the Hessians beyond what we already have.
Quote:Some players will recognize that the new Omega-55 is actually an improved version of Omega-15,
Dunno, I will notice though that it seems like it's been designed by someone who really wants to create an activity hub but doesn't know how to do it because he doesn't play the game.
Quote:Omega-58 has been redesigned as a dangerous alternate path to Theta.
>players tell you that theta should connect to omega-41
>connect it to omega-58
on come on it's just like 17 numbers, nobody will notice
Quote:Also thanks to a recent exe, patch vertical trade lanes work almost perfectly, except for some camera issues
Vertical tradelanes: because avoiding interaction was too hard in 2 dimensions
I'd say this is the worst update in recent history but aux slot and omicron rework happened so I guess it could have been worse.
On the other hand, Igiss boxed the story team into a corner before he left with the super-sizing of all faction power-levels, plus Gallia absolutely annihilating two houses, so really I don't know what could be done to make the story reasonable without actually deleting everything since 4.84 and starting again. I mean even before Gallia, Bretonia and Kusari were at war and so were Rheinland and Liberty.
The point I'd comment on is this though:
As much as I love Konigsberg as a name (and I really , really do), it's bound to offend both Polish and Russian people. The first because they've been fighting for probably more than 1000 years to preserve their national heritage in the face of crippling multiple front wars against Sweden, Russia and Germany that, until the fall of the Berlin Wall, had completely enslaved and subjugated their people and attempted to erase their heritage from existence. See - The Deluge, The Third Partition of Poland, The Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact and The Warsaw Pact - and the second because Konigsberg is Kaliningrad now, and the Russians suffered 60 million dead to take it off the Germans and then didn't even bother giving it back to Poland because they wanted a warmer Baltic port.
Now I don't have a personal stake in that particular fight since I am absolutely not Polish, but I can certainly understand the Polish people who would be offended by referring to Danzig, Konigsberg or anything about East Prussia in a German context at all really. Every major power around them for the last 500 years has tried their absolute best to completely demolish and erase Poland.
I 100% understand this is a game and this choice doesn't offend me in the slightest. In fact I'm a big fan of alternative history and I always play Axis powers when I play Hearts of Iron III or IV or actually any WW2 game. I dont bemoan your choice, actually I love it, but I hope you can also understand how Polish history has made a lot of Poles protective of every part of their national identity, and what reaction that can cause when make choices like this.
I guess it would be like calling Romanian cities and places in the Balkans by their Turkic names.
But lets not be totally negative. I appreciate that you're trying to rationalise a whole lot of stuff that doesn't make sense. When it comes to the story, I think there needs to be a lot more appreciation that what you started with wasn't great and you need to be commended for trying to rescue it, rather than rewrite it. Whether that's the right choice or not, I dont know, but you deserve to be applauded for trying.
