There was something wrong about what was happening, so i went to shadows and started hunting them.
Once i jumped to Alpha from Tau, for a fraction of a second i've noticed an enemy on my radar.

I've woken up and had my typical breakfast served by my most liked slaves. It was a beautiful morning, just as yesterdays evening. The smell of newly cut grass and gunpowder from Sol era is the best. After walking my pet Fox, i went towards my hangar to check up on my ship and how's the cleaning of it going. Strangely, it was very quiet around the gate, no soldiers nor slaves around. I didn't waste time and took out my pistol to check out what happened.
After sneaking in quietly, i saw them all gathered around my ship and mumbling something. When i looked up, i spotted it. My ship was painted in some new kind of white color and had orange Maltese crosses. I've sat on the ground, and noticed them of my presence by saying "So, who was it". I've been smiling with an evil grind, they knew they're screwed. I took a deep breath and said "Speak up, or you'll be sent to Cardamine fields without the protective wear".
One soldier stepped out and said that the government authorized people have taken our ships and replaced them.
So they were all innocent. "Okay..." - while i nodded my head a bit.
Me:"Do we know where is my ship now?" Soldier:"No Sir, we lost the signal right after they took it out of the Malta's orbit" Me:"Wait, are you serious?" Soldier:"Yes Sir, we lost the signal" Me:"So we have no signal nor general direction, great!" (What if they,.. nah,.. or?...)
There was no information about our ships being replaced in a meaningful timespan
Ship's tracking signal was lost around Malta
Weapons and systems are still present on MNS-SHADOW
I could smell something wrong with all of this.
Me: "Soldiers, assemble in the war room. I'm giving you access right now."
A while later, 13 soldiers with the best training have marched into the room. Me:"While you were all preparing, i've found the signal, it's very sporadic and weak. *sighs* Diagnostic reports multiple ruptures in the hull and some internal systems damage. As of now, we're in the emergency state. Only we know about this, and should stay so until further notice." "Yes Sir!" - All men saluted together
Me:"We've not been informed about an "upgrade". So i hope you do understand that i've classified this as a theft of military property and secrets. Get your rifles up, ready, and in mint condition. We don't know what awaits us." Soldier: "Sir, We?" Me:"Yes, it's my ship,.. no, our ship. I'm the Owner, i shall protect it. All of us had good and bad times in our ship, no matter what happened, i'm not willing to fly that piece of crap currently standing in my hangar."
Soldiers smiled a bit.
Me:"Now go, i have to triangulate the ships position and then prepare the plan."
Soldiers have scrambled and sat behind the computers. The sound of fingers hitting the buttons could've been heard across the entire room.
I've looked to the left, and to the right. From all the chairs they could choose, they've decided to sit close to me. "Silently defying Commanders order to help him. Looks like they really care" - i've mumbled to myself and smiled. And with the proud feeling of my soliers i continued.
--- Day 2 ---
Me:Looks like we may have the approximate position, it's not perfect, but we're good to go. The position will automatically update in your PDA's as we go, due to the sporadic signal.
After soldiers have gone to the storage room and have taken their gear, we've boarded an unmarked gunship and went towards the place. It was quite far. Most of us have taken a quick nap to replenish our energy.
After docking at some unused port, far from the scrapyard, we finally got the precise location of MNS-SHADOW. Weather was cold, humid and basically ruthless to any life. Fortunatelly, i love freezing temperatures. Maltese military black ops outfit with red Maltese patches on sides of our arms. We would withstand anything.
As we looked from a hill, structures were complex and giant. But we managed to find the commanding office through termovision photos. Getting there through empty ground is easy, getting in is another thing. Gates were obviously not an option. Therefore all 4 of us have taken side routes to reach the office.
Few security guards were at the gates and some were doing routine walks around the object. We had to be fast. Once we've rappelled on top of the thick wall, we saw something that no owner of a ship should see. Vast amounts of ships ready to be scrapped.
For some reason, MNS-SHADOW was pulled a bit away from others. While the scrapyard seemed quiet at the time, we were cautious. Then, we finally reached the office and stormed in. Scrapmaster was shocked at first. The problem was that we didn't notice him pushing silent security alarm button.
We've closed the doors and windows to have a private session with him. Questions about why are all those Ranseurs there and where's MNS-SHADOW. As we said it, he told us that he has casted aside one Maltese Guard ship. He did it because it still had its weapons mounted. To add to the tight situation, Maltese Guards responded to the SOS which scrapmaster sent. We've subdued him and prepared to fight an unknown enemy.
"This is Captain Moonwalker speaking, we've responded to the SOS, whoever you're surrender."
We had no other choice, but to surrender. And it was my Dad and his soldiers. As we've stepped out, he seemed a bit pissed. But i've explained everything to him. He understood. But we got tied up and sat on the ground.
When Scrapmaster woke up and saw my fathers face he immdediatelly said: Scrapmaster:"Did you catch the terrorists? They looked like Maltese Guard black ops, wait,... Moonwalker?" Dad:"Yes, and it was my son. He just wants his ship back." Scrapmaster:"Since when do you have kids? Ouch, my head. While i do understand his good intentions, i'd give him the ship if he didn't hit me." Dad:"Maybe we can settle this over poker." Scrapmaster:"Depends on what will you throw in." Dad:"MNS-Moonlightning"
The suprise in everyone's face was obvious, but that's the fathers love and affection for his child. One of the reasons why i want to be like him, one day. Scrapmaster:"Deal"
The game was long, exhausting, but in the end, Dad won.
And we took MNS-SHADOW through Siniestre Cloud to my laboratory, while Nomad younglings were nice to check the space around, so we avoid detection.
A while later, Dad told me that scrapmaster is a veteran, and they know each other for a long time.
--- Day 3 ---
After assessing the ships state, which is dreadful. Hull is heavily damaged, and minor damage at some sections and systems, so i had to order commodities from THP (The League) and started communicating with The Commune to bring this ship back to its former glory and make Malta Great Again.
