What faction you join should largely be informed by your availability: flying by yourself in a neato faction loses its luster pretty quickly; your best bet is to fly with people based in your same general timezone so that coordination is easier and allows you to get the most out of the mod.

Having said that: the Amalfi Directorate - an Outcast military-intelligence faction - is always looking for new members. We place an emphasis on recon, character RP and espionage, but piracy is very much up our alley as well.

A lot of us are US based with regular jobs so, our schedules keep us on at later times than usual for most of the server, but we've recently gotten active people from all over so, our regular logging times may be changing. Give us a look if you're at all interested - we'd be happy to have ya, and holler if ya have any questions.

You could join the other factions in here, but who knows if they can actually give you what you're looking for (MRG is great though)?

There are two types of people in this world: Core| members and suckas. A Core| player gets to enjoy consistent and engaging PvP in the Edge Worlds as well as lawful evil RP as they colonise the frontier for the glory of the Imperium Omicronis. The faction itself is active, and there are good roleplay avenues to pursue both in the game and on the forum (APM, political RP, hunting aliums and Order etc). There are also smaller benefits like a longer lifespan, stronger relationships, improved sex life, better overall mental well being, connection to the ether, an IQ of 5000 blah blah blah etc etc.
