A few hours back AP Telemetrics at Planet Nauru had brought online its newest installation, viz. the planetside particle telescope codenamed "Hermes IX" - a state of the art deep search device capable of focusing faint particle streams deflected from fairly small celestial mineral objects and take instant SMCVB readings. First test runs have indicated the existence of a previously unknown debris field in Omicron Delta, sector B2, possibly composed of minor planetary fragments. Two APM craft were dispatched to investigate.
Aquarius-6 reported having taken samples of the mineral bed. Composition indicated substantial presence of metallic elements, predominantly buried in a flint crust, which hinders efficient extraction. Our conventional mining arrays used to harvest iridium are of little use, as their emissions take a painfully long time to burn though the tough rocky layers. Energy weapons on the other hand penetrate the rocks fairly well, yet at the same time fuse valuable elements. While the finding of "Hermes IX" bares an interesting economic potential, mining techniques need to be adjusted before we can truly exploit its potential.
We were not the only ones who had taken notice of the field - presence of Krüger Mineralien ships has been noted toward the end of our recon. Aquarius was thus reassigned to assist the convoy in gathering further samples in exchange for a generous mobilization compensation. As fill-up of the KMS-Cuxhaven neared completion, the convoy was ambushed by a pack of enemy contacts with Nomadic vital signs. The astrogator lured the creatures away from the Krüger transports, ensuring them safe passage to Omicron Rho. He himself managed to take preliminary scans of one of the crafts and finally escape the pursuit, though not without substantial damage to his vessel.
Those Nomads utilize an unpreceded type of beam weaponry, which drains reactor energy from its target, rendering shield and weapon capacitors useless in no time. When exposed to continuously, ship fusion reactors overload and deliver a devastating end to the pitiable carrier. Another outstanding feature is the range of this beam, as it nearly competes with our Harpoon class forward guns, while small enough to fit relatively unevolved Labriad class entities. It would be marvelous to have the opportunity to study this technology and eventually synthesize it ourselves!
Meanwhile The Sagittarius-3 had successfully secured a batch of 500 units of the newly discovered minerals, provisionally referred to as planetoid ore, for further analysis. We are hoping to not only gain economical advantages from this finding, but also trace back the origins and history of the celestial body that once bared these riches. For all we know, it was not part of the original Omicron Delta system geography.
Upon venturing forth, another Nomad creature has been spotted within visual range of Freeport 11. However this one was alone and apparently highly evolved. While the experimental cloaking technology mounted on the Sagittarius-3 proved once again highly effective in acquiring close up readings of the target entity, while remaining outside of its perceptive range, the crew witnessed the destruction of professor Nerva's massive Nephilim class craft, the Unity, caught and quasi devoured in the blink of an eye by this amazing creature. The professor himself managed to abandon ship just in time and safely return to Freeport 11.
Readings of the Iota-Gamma's features indicate a similar energy draining structure as in the Voidrunners encountered by Aquarius-6, however 10x times more powerful, covering a most astonishing effective distance of 7.000m and wreaking havoc on anything within its reach. Extensive visual footage has been collected for further analysis. The data might prove useful in several upcoming projects on synthesizing Nomadic tissue instead of utilizing artificially revitalized salvaged biomass.
The creature was finally put down by The Core Primary Fleet, featuring Guildkeeper Jack Daniels as the commanding officer. I myself had the pleasure of witnessing the hunt from the ops deck on the WV-Decimari. It is truly a sad condition seeing such potential wasted, even though little else could be done to dispose of it safely, at least for now.
Further analysis of the "Hermes IX" debris field indicates that the underlying beds of the planetoid fragments are abundant in high in platinum-group metals, viz. platinum, iridium and palladium. Secondary elements found underneath the hard flint crust include hydrogen and iron. Altogether, this discovery yields an enormous economic prospect, both household and export-wise, since the above mentioned compositions are highly sought after in all parts of Sirius. A firm technological control over extraction operations is paramount to AP R&D divisions on Planet Nauru for the time being.
APM-Lucky had just returned to Yaren with another batch of samples, however the primary point of its mission was to analyze the crust surface for weak spots to ease extraction. While most of its findings overlap with the documentation done by Aquarius-6 and Sagittarius-3, the technicians and mining specialists aboard argue, that the energy output of light beam arrays, such as those utilized by the Lucky, can in theory be fine adjusted to burn through the rock and into its valuable core, melting the present iron and dissolving the metal elements in it. Certainly, that way the riches are being enclosed in tight lumps, which will require costly separation methods to set them loose, but the overall yield would be preserved almost lossless.
While additional scientific data is still being gathered and adjustments tested, AP maintenance is preparing to run retrofits on several APM craft. If all data gathered from simulations prove our hypothesis, we will be ready to commence large scale operations within the “Hermes IX” field shortly.
The scientific data gathered by AP R&D during performance simulations of the proposed adjustments to the standard issue mining arrays has proven successful. Large scale harvest and haulage commences. We are optimistic to compensate the costly ad hoc research on this project within mere days as export into all major houses flourishes, especially since Guildkeeper Daniels had publicly declared the Hermes IX field sole property of Imperium Omicronis, with exclusive extraction rights to trusted business partners of AP Manufacturing, viz. IRG, OSI, IC and Krüger. Naturally, alleged organizations may apply for a cooperation plan if deemed fit.
I am hoping to use a fraction of the additional funds gained from planetoid ore exports to resume full funding to certain underappreciated research programs.
Today i partnered with the vessel Core|APM-Civilian.First and APM|Avalanche for an Iridium convoy, after meeting on Yaren, we departed to Ómicron Lost, where we proceeded to obtain the ore to fill our Bisons and Rhino. Then we proceeded in the stardard route from Ómicron Rho - Sigma 15 - Sttugart - New Berlin, when we reached the planet we had to part ways with Core|APM-Civilian.First, who had to continue to New London, for us, the final destination was Rochester Base in New York, we reached the system without problems, on our return to Omicron Rho, we decided to load a cargo of Premium Scrap for Alabama Shipyard, and knowing how important for the Core is this shipment we decided to hire a nearby freelancer named 1.Shot.
The travel to Omicron Rho was also uneventful, so we proceded to unload our cargo in Alabama Shipyard.
Total Cargo hauled by my ship, Core|APM-Retribution:
4200 Iridium Ore to Rochester Base, New York.
4200 Premium Scrap to Alabama Shipyard, Omicron Rho
Total Cargo hauled by APM|Avalanche:
540 Iridium Ore to Rochester Base, New York.
540 Premium Scrap to Alabama Shipyard, Omicron Rho

The Core has recieved information of an attack that is taking or is about to take place on Interspace Commerce Faroe Shipping Platform, in the Omega 3 system. Core vessels intercepted and quickly annihilated a hostile gunboat fleet within the system. By the time our ships where able to arrive in system , significant damage was already taken by the shipping platform. The platform's shields were down long enough for there to be damage to the hanger bays and cargo pods of the platform. Initial scans did not reveal any damage to the superstructure. To ensure that our fellow organization's shipping platform doesn't remain inoperative for an unnecessary amount of time, Core has requested APM to make an emergency delivery of reinforced alloy. APM nor Core will charge IC for this delivery as a part of our mutual aide agreements.
APM Transport Assigned

APM assigned the shipment of 4220 Reinforced Alloy to Bison Transport Areion. Areion was docked at Alabama Shipyard resupplying after numerous iridium ore shipments when they accepted the assignment. Already at Alabama, Areion filled its cargo with the alloy it had on hand and made way to Omega 3. The whole delivery was almost stopped right after launch when an Order cruiser was observed guarding the Omicron Rho > Omicron Delta jump hole. Areion evaded detection by making a pass around the far side of Planet Rho. After sneaking past the Order vessel, the rest of the journey was quick and quiet. Friendly forces confirmed that the system and gave a green light for the transport to enter and deliver the reinforced alloy. Areion docked and successfully delivered the emergency shipment of alloys.
With the prices of iridium skyrocketing some of us forgot about the attack on the Freeport, now that things have settled a bit regular supply runs can commence. This run consisted of 3 bison and 1 fighter escort, however on route we stumbled across the Amenhotep who provided profession capital support during the exercise. Upon entering Delta, he came across some hostile, I'm unsure what, I didn't stick around long enough to find out and the rest of us headed to Ennibeck.
Spent a whole day on Extender and later on Omnipotence. With Extender I delivered APM Advanced Hardware to California, then I picked Omnipotence in Texas. Picked Ship Hull Pannels from Trafalgar in New London as requested for special order and delivered them to Alabama without any problems on the way.
Good evening colleagues,
Today's convoy, which did not bode well, was suddenly interrupted by one meeting... Almost as soon as we jumped into the Omicron Zeta system, on the way to Capetown, ours scanners become a full red colors, and we were surprised, we saw in ours scopes Order convoy!
As a result of this meeting our ship was damaged and taken out of the side for some time, security wing did their job perfect! 2/3 our trasnports successfully docked to Capetown and delivered the necessary resources for base.
Despite the successful outcome of the operation, I request that the information be passed on to our paramilitary unit, Such an event could not be an accident, and I believe that Yap Edge Nebula need to investigate properly, because the enemy convoy was heading straight from there.
