____ MESSAGE
Greetings esteemed Command,
it seems that the Bretonians do not understand what consequences they have brought on their heads. However, today a group mixed of SIS operatives, Gaian Guard activists and Outcast breached the security blockade in Inverness. We tried to negotiate and tell them to leave Inverness with their "war-vessels", however, as we decided to remove their "Outcast" company we were engaged by the SIS Operatives followed by the Gaian Guard. Their lend-leased Liberty Battlecruiser and Gaian Destroyer were destroyed quickly by the Eidolon Wraith and the Ixion. Their fighter wings were taken down quickly and those who managed to survive the slaughter ran into the Asteroid field and escaped. The security measures around the Cortez Jump Hole will be improved to not allow such incidents to happen again. We will not allow Bretonia or any one of them more ground in Inverness. This is all for now.
After the quick deployment, I returned to the station to recharge and recuperate. I find that I was eager to please and fit in much too quickly after the travel from Manhattan. It had left me exhausted more-so than I expected and required me to retire for a time.
I wished it known I am now prepared for any inspections needed of myself, my vessel, and my support unit. I shall be holding at the dock on the Cattail until you are prepared.
The efforts put in by those standing on our line and participating in our hyperspace raid tests has exceeded my expectations. The tests themselves have given us another avenue to pursue for improving the Achlys. Starting with the structural integrity, I've ordered an overhaul of internal reinforcements and the installation of new external refraction plating layered in sections and areas with reactive armor. This upgrade will stabilize the consistent issues with structural failures in certain maintenance sections during jump, and greatly reinforce our ability to withstand directed energy pulses. Engineering will need to conduct regular maintenance on the new armor systems at the Citadel following an estimated number of deployments that the plating can withstand before degrading.
I'd recommend contacting ALG once more to re-negotiate our discussions and include improvements to our drydocks.
Following our little escapade yesterday to Delta to make new friends, I launched another test flight to put the recently installed reactive and refraction armor plating through its paces, along with the new weapon systems we've installed. The modifications held up quite well, exceeding expectations with insurmountable odds. We had hoped to put it up against a small contingent of Core or Order vessels, however upon finding one it had already been set upon by the Vagrants and Commune. Noting our understanding, I left The Core to the Vagrant and worked to eradicate the cultist warships.
It was touch and go at first. The Achlys is in no way mobile enough to combat a Destroyer pair conducting hit and run maneuvers, but the overwhelming firepower of our forward cannons proved more than a match for the hull of an RM-2A as we successfully landed a volley of 240mm HEAP rounds on an unshielded target. They received some unexpected support, in the form of an Outcast Dreadnought, which had uncloaked and attempted to overpower the Achlys in close quarters. They soon realized their mistake, when we turned to face them and began to outgun them. It didn't take too long before the Maltese Dreadnought was up in flames, and the final Destroyer suffered the same fate as the first.
All in all, the Achlys in spite of power system struggles is exceeding expectations. Recommending that we re-visit the reactor problem in the near future in order to mitigate further drain on our systems. There's no telling what could happen in the event our reactor fails in open space - or Eirene forbid a combat situation. We've returned to Covenant Space to address the damage reports.
Me and Curator Firmitas went out into the Drake system after a distress beacon went off for a ship within the system. We entered the system to find a Bretonian Privateer by the name of "David.Hawley" desperately fending off Infectees in a Pelican transport. Me and the Curator moved to assist then escorted the ship back to a civilian sector within Inverness. He complied with the release of the alien technology he had picked up in his fight and it is now safely in the hands of Auxesia, totaling 11 pilots of the Infected along with multiple adapted blasters and ammunition. I imagine the pilots will go to good use within my lab?
Anyway, the pilot complied and we saw him off to civilian space, however whether or not he entered Drake through Inverness is a mystery, as Auxesia only picked up his beacon, not his actual flight path. We will keep an eye on the perimeter of Drake in the future and prevent another incident like this and the possible loss of life to the Infected scourge in our neighboring systems.

At 00:30 HRS, I departed from Valravn Citadel aboard the ACV Guadalcanal, in the hopes of performing engines and, hopefully, weapons testing before transiting through Liberty space to assist with the aftermath of Operation BABYLON. After completing engine and power-plant dry-start tests in Elgin orbit and then over Curacao, I proceeded into Liberty with weapons powered-down to begin transit to the Bering AO.
Upon entry to California, however, we happened across a group of Rogues and what looked like a Hacker affiliate chasing down a Navy vessel with Police escort. I had hoped to not interfere, but the situation was dire, and I decided that it was important to take direct action.

Combat was fierce, but in assisting the police and Navy vessels we managed to down one of the bombers and nick the paint on the other. Heavy support arrived in the form of multiple Rogue destroyers, however, and I was forced to flee into New York, where I chanced upon a familiar sight in the LSF's Willow Grove.

The result was a pitched battle. The crew of the Guadalcanal, myself included, was expecting a test run on the way to our new posting - and instead I put us directly into a full-on firefight. I, perhaps...overstepped my bounds in doing so, and put the ship at great risk. But - despite the odds, the Willow Grove, myself, and the trickle-in of Auxesian reinforcements made sure it wasn't a fatal mistake.

The Guadalcanal registered one confirmed kill and one probable, with one assist on the Pegged Promotion. The LPI and LSF thanked us for the assistance, and we headed on our way to receive repair, rearm and refuel before attending to our new station in Bering. With this message, I can confirm that we've taken up our station without further incident.
With the swiftness of the operation ongoing in the Bering system, I was given control of the ACV Tefnut to perform patrols and enforce the blockade on Pacifica. I can submit that operations are running purrfectly. Several smugglers and hostile contacts tried to run the blockade, all had attempts to question them before ultimately burying them in the box. One Unioner attempted to escape from Pacifica, or defend it. We forced it to hide once more in its mouse hole.
I would also like to report that due to taunting and confusing speech patterns, I am not fond of the Xeno "Cottonmouth". It is rude.

Venator Spitz has done an outstanding job organizing what is being dubbed "The Wolf Pack" for cargo interdiction and support duties. Venator Walker will be returning to active duty to assist the Wolf Pack in their efforts, directly assuming control of the Ixion.
In addition, the following promotions are being given out:
Initiates DeMatha, Graham and Grier have all exceeded the expectations of an Initiate and have been granted the rank of Warden.
Auxesia has been doing a fantastic job in our role in the Bering system recently, and today the two Hel sisters Ixion and Cepheus destroyed a "Bismarck" class Rheinland battleship, mostly due to the efforts of the Ixion, commanded by Paladin Vexillarius.
Paladin, due to your superb efforts and bravery on the battlefield you are have been granted the rank of Sentinel, welcome to the top of the mid-command Sentinel.
In addition to your new promotion Sentinel you are also being given the title of Star within the Covenant for valiancy and outstanding effort.
You serve Auxesia bravely Sentinel, continue your efforts.
I was on the bridge of ACV-Ixion, with curator Firmitas aboard the Cepheus, as well as Operative "Underscore" on his Sturgeon class gunboat. We intercepted a Unioner transport for cargo interdiction, and began to let him go. However...
We got immediately engaged by an MND Battlecruiser, slamming full force into the Ixion.
We all repelled it, however the Ixion was heavily damaged, barely leaving the ship intact and even left the reactor core exposed. One more shot would have sent us to the grave.
Ixion has since docked on the freeport for repairs and the crew are weary but resting. I think my head is still spinning from all the alarms. I've attached all logs of this encounter below, mostly from Mr. Ravis due to the Ixion's bridge cam corrupting from the damage.
