SA was extremely crippled in its RP; It couldn't go in Alaska, nor Colorado and NY (Depending if you consider it part of the center or the north:wacko:). OORP indies in Liberty are an issue...This has also been done to provide us a good reason to put them back where they should be. hopefully, The Level of RP in NY is a tad better than before (Speaking about indies).
the NC| Represent the Northern Command Admiralty and their partisans, they are atm like a remnant wing of pilots loyal to Admiralty. Those that will still protect the Corrupted admirals. The texts can lead to some Confusion, Pardon me and Nzeick for that. When I mentioned Rogue and Renegade ships not following given orders, I was talking about those not respecting our authority, I NEVER THOUGH "IDIOTS!!! GO ALL SELL YOUR CAPS" but we might ask you to do so if your RP is REALLYYYYY crappy.
As RM and KNF do with indies, All Indies must RESPECT the SA(LN) Authority in-game.
Now people are all hissing like cats, Why have they never really done so when the RM was formed and decided to let NO indies fly capital ships (except maybe GB) In Rheinland space? HEh?
Liberty factions standing toward Independent players will be discussed PRIVATELY. Depending on the verdict, We will post a proper RP solution. Atm, the only solution We have made is one in case Navy cannot tolerate LN indies for logical RP reasons but can tolerate like the Northern Army, etc (since they aren't navy, etc). BUT THAT IS STILL UNDER DISCUSSION!

You own the Virginia system, not New York. Till you own all of Liberty then you don't have proper authority in it. Of course you have more guns than others so that gives you the authority...
As an independent, I say it is a good idea.
To those who believe it cripples RP, what might I say other than a big "lol".
The "south" "north" thing merely allowed more stupidity to disrupt the faction roleplay, allows more crappy 5 second thought capship whorage roleplay or no roleplay at all on many cases.
Now with Eppy' more severe regulation on random oc capship appearing in manhattan for no reason, I can see Liberty becoming slightly more viable.
Next I am awaiting for the promised change of starting place probably for next mod. Then, thing should go a bit better in New York.
I'm pretty sure having Virginia gives them all of Liberty, though if anyone such as the LPI or LSF were to get a guard system too, then what would happen?

Seriously guys, let this play out a bit and see if the new LN abuse their power or not. I fly an indy Rheinland GB, in RHEINLAND! How did I get it? I earned it. The LN is only asking that the same respect be given to them as any military officer would give to a superior officer.

This is a genuine question regarding the status of your fleet.
Given that when the SA replaced it's fighter vessels prematurely with LN tagged vessels said ships were grounded. Will the LN be grounding the capital fleet seeing as their tag no longer matches the rest of the faction, and will not match until Korrd finishes the NCC automation software?

The SA leadership posts a simple RP post about the SA becoming the LN, and this thread erupts in flames. Well, I'll contribute. To satisfy:
Let's forbid factions from making ANY rules. No exceptions, as it DESTROYS AND PREVENTS INDEPENDENTS' ROLEPLAY;
-No more KNF / QCRF blockades of the Tau system and trading, since they oppress the indies who wish to trade Deuterium FREELY.
-No more laws on smuggling, as any indie with contraband is oppressed and pvp-whored by the powermongering factions. Forget the roleplay of the lawfuls, these smugglers deserve their rights to trade freely without being oppressed by the factions.
Edit: Independents can make any laws they want, as we all know they are not oppressive, powermongering pvp whores who are protected and watched by their admin friends.
-No more ship restrictions/registrations, as all indies can automatically be trusted with any ship they please, without any thought. They abide by the server rules, so they can have it.
-No one has jurisdiction over any space, including guard systems. For example, Outcasts. Bugger the fact that the 101st owns it, the discovery map says Outcasts. Everyone with an Outcast ID can visit it then, because it shares the same name!
In fact, let's remove factions overall. Delete everyone who is listed on the faction status page. Oh, but forget about unofficial factions, as they have less authority to CORRUPT, ABUSE and OPPRESS indies with.
