Messieurs,
The modular station you have begun constructing in Royal Enclave territory has been deemed unlawful and is scheduled for destruction. You have eight hours to convince us of it's worth if you intend for it to survive the encounter.

Bonjour Mademoiselle Laroux.
I am not sure who you are and who the Marshalcy of Gallia actually are. So you have me at a disadvantage.
As for Leeds Central Station, I would just like to point out Deep Space Engineers is a private corporation, and neither political, law enforcement or military in any way. We are made up of franchisees who were former employees of another deep space engineering company who treated us badly. A co-operative if you will.
We have a contract to repair the tradelanes and Leeds Central Station is simply our forward base of operations. We don't live here, we work here. Just trying to make a living is all.
We have only just begun the discussion. I am not sure what it is you actually want.
I would suggest that in time, Leeds Central might well be of great benefit to the Enclave. Would you care to discuss this further?
As a gesture of good will I am happy to allow docking rights to a named ship so you can inspect Leeds Central Station and see for yourself it is what it is. A base of operations for my work crews to work from, to earn a living.

6 hours into the declaration you were outside the base. You had NO intention of not destroying the base and fulfilled your "obligations" to the letter of the law. It didn't matter what discussion was involved... you just did enough to cover your "derriere massive", to justify your actions and as soon as the eight hours rolled over, you did the deed. It was a farcical episode, a vulgar interaction, as pathetic as they come.
It was just lip service and as slobbery as it gets.
OK by the letter of the law, but not in the spirit of the game.

Monsieur,
If you believe you can attempt to rebuild in Azincourt without recourse than you are gravely mistaken. Your lack of respect of Royal Enclave territory has cost you this station and any lives that were not evacuated. I will give you this warning, any attempt to rebuild in Azincourt will lead to a similar response.

Monsieur Veltman,
'Tis a fool's maneuver to be given a generous eight hours for negotiation and squander it with no attempt at appeasement. Maréchal Laroux offered you an opportunity to argue the value of your installation, and you claimed to be ignorant thereof. If you really didn't "live there", and in fact did just "work there", and you don't have enough personal stake invested in the endeavor of operating such a station, then arguably, we've done you a favor by taking such a sink on your resources out of the equations in your logisticians' notebooks.
Our operations do not allow for a grubby guild of grease monkeys squatting on our front lawn. Our accountants like to say "there is no free lunch".
You had your lunch, but you scrounged around in your empty pockets and shrugged when the server arrived with the check. Maybe if you ever have such an encounter again, you'll have the imagination to offer up an IOU, talk about the work you do, and turn a jilted waiter into a happy client.
For now though, have fun washing dishes.

A way a lone a last a loved a long the riverrun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay,
brings us by a commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs.
There was not going to be any dialogue or any parley. If there was then why were you all lined up outside just 6 hours after the 8 hrs? Why did the response from Eveline Laroux only happen when I pointed out that there was "mail"? Then a hurried "shut-it-down" response BECAUSE there was a total determination to stifle ongoing dialogue because it was a nuisance to getting the giggles.

Boy oh boy, you ladies really do get your, how do you say, culotte dans une torsion? I never even HEARD of you before. I told you that. How would I know if this wasn't some kind of confidence trick? Me being new in Leeds and all.
And contrary to your very poor interpretation of my correspondence, I was keen to deal. I'm a businessman for crying out loud. Hell's teeth, I'm a loyal Libertarian, but I ain't stupid! What is stupid is having assets blown to bits that could be used by you gals (Julian, you are a girl aren't ya? Sounds like a girl’s name. Sorry if you aren't, buddy).
Think about it. Bretonia pays me to build a base so =DSE- can help rebuild Leeds, and when you take over Agincourt (We call it Leeds... but I digress) then "Viola"! Fully rebuilt system and what did it cost ya? Nadda! Zilch! Nothing! Bretonia paid for the lot... in the meantime we could have discussed trade! You need it, I need it. Got to keep that money rolling.
So, how about letting bygones being bygones, put this behind us, step over the puddle, smoke the peace pipe, hold out the olive branch, kiss and make up.
Let me build Leeds Central and we all make a living yeah? Now what do you want?
