Minister for Economy and Industry - Dainihon Nagao
Mr. John White, Ageira Technologies
In evaluation to more recent circumstances, namely the attack by Rheinland forces on civilian installations of Ageira dedicated to the maintenance and expansion of civilian transit networks in and around Kusari, we understand that shipping and operations by our home commercial entities might be targeted by hostile forces, in complete disregard for their civilian status and detachment from any national interest or war effort value. Considering the danger that hovers civlian craft, and in recognition by the management of Ageira and its partners in keeping their commitment to the well being of Kusari networks, the Ministry Cabinet has decided to act upon your request, disallowing civilian entities other than Ageira Technologies, Deep Space Engineering and Universal Shipping from transporting or do shipping services related to the Ageira White Boxes and related cargo. In matter pertaining National Interest and Security, craft and crews of law enforcement agencies of Kusari might be employed to ensure that occasional needs are met.
This decision will be amended into the acting legislation soon. Such legislation and its restrictions may be reviewed at a later date, if circumstances demand it.
Respectfully, Dainihon Nagao

We thank you for law revision. It is most unfortunate that only negative event has led to this but we are still looking forward to assisting your empire to expand beyond current borders.
We would like to inquire about future of construction site in Honshu. Are there any plans to continue connecting Sigma-21 now that the hostilities are over?
Minister for Economy and Industry - Dainihon Nagao
Mr. John White, Ageira Technologies
Mr. White, thank you for contacting our channels on this pending matter. Indeed, the cessation of hostilities has helped us recover stability and security in both regions, a situation that allow us to resume operations alongside Ageira in bringing Kusari ever closer to it's partners in Sigma-21.
At this moment, Kusari State Police division in Honshu has been tasked of securing the construction site installation and surrounding area, and establish a well identified corridor for civilian traffic to access the facilities. On the Sigma-21 side, KNF task forces in conjunction with local partners have moved to oversee the gate endpoint, and to serve as a pivot for construction efforts on that side.
I'm not completely keen on Ageira/DSE construction policies on these projects, but I would urge prioritizing the Honshu endpoint construction to a working condition, before refocusing efforts on the sigma-21 area. I trust Ageira engineering to enact the best decision on this matter.
We have also contacted Interspace Commerce and the financial department to unfreeze the funds allocated to the project, blocked since the onset of the conflict.
Respectfully, Dainihon Nagao

Mr. John White, Ageira Technologies
Greetings, once again. I hope the weather has been good on your end, Mr. White. The sakuras bloom in New Tokyo at this time of the year, and if not for the rain, thousands of people would flock to the riversides and parks to enjoy the spectacle.
On more business-like matters, I would like to inform Ageira that the funding for Honshu-Shizuoka (sigma-21) project have been fully disclosed, and teams on the field will be able to operate knowing that materials and supplies will arrive in good quantity.
I take this opportunity however, to know from your side how does the construction project fare, if there has been any setbacks unforeseen in the renewed schedule post-conflict.
At the same time, I have some information of interest to your esteemed company. Government has managed to pass a new regional development plan that will mainly affect infrastructure in the remote Tottori system. The first phase of the regional plan involves establishing a secure commercial link between Kyushu and the Tottori system, and based on successful projects in the past, we would like once again to task Ageira with the construction of interstellar jumpgates for this and further projects.
Details on gate location will be discussed once both systems are surveyed by Ageira and Kusari preliminary operations. Contract budget can be considered equal to the Honshu-Shizuoka gate, adjusted to the more calm circumstances found in the western Kusari region.
We hope to proceed with development talks with you and your teams as soon as it's feasible.
Respectfully, Dainihon Nagao

Status on Honshu - Sigma 21 Construction Site is currently on-hold due to other projects taking priorities. Since insurance didn't cover destruction of property due to war advances, Ageira had to use reserve funds of our own to cover the losses. We do have estimation that it will be resumed in a month.
As for expansion towards Tottori system, I am glad to announce that our survey teams located excellent position and have established construction site under DSE flag as per usual. We will start shipping materials to expedite this project.
