That looks really nice. There is one thing I wonder about in terms of feasibility - there's a gallery of screenshots on there. Could it be made to automatically pull through images from an external source?
For example, if there was a Discovery promotion forum thread, could images posted there be automatically pulled across into that gallery from the front page? Alternately, could the gallery be populated by an Imgur gallery?
If we could set up something like that, I'd probably look to set up an official screenshot thread where people could turn in cinematic looking promotional images (no text, no UI, etc) in exchange for rewards.

If someone competent with Javascript can do that, that would be cool. For the website in the OP, done just by myself, it is not possible unfortunately.
Looks much better than what I cobbled together in an hour years ago.
I would also advise against adding external sources, or javascript for the matter. The least javascript you have, the better. Update the website as needed.
You can try something like this http://getskeleton.com/. really easy to make a landing page with it.
It's small and all parts of Skeleton are free to use and abuse under the open-source MIT license.

Do you have any analytics for the url? I am interested to see them or a screenshot of them if possible.
Looks great. As an idea maybe moving the "roleplay" infobox to first place would be a good idea since the server is RP-mandatory which I think lot of new players don't know.
