Changes have been made to encourage skirmishes and lawlessness in Tau, specifically:
- Each of Bretonia, Gallia and Kusari Corporation IDs have received piracy lines within Taus against corporations of the other two house.
- Each of Bretonia, Gallia and Kusari Military and Intel IDs have received engagement lines within Taus against combat ships of the other two house.
The intent is to allow a slow burning border conflict in the region, and free up all parties to have fun in the area. It is not our intent that any of the central bodies of the Houses or megacorps back on their home planets consider these flareups anything more than skirmishes on the edge of space, and simply the cost of doing business in the area. Tau is hostile, lawless space, and encounters out there are dangerous.
To further represent the lawless state of the region, FR5s cannot be used as a consequence for actions that occur within the Taus between these involved parties..
You have ZoI in 2 of 3 of the main battlegrounds here.
Leeds is no Tau anymore, only places without you are 44 and 31.
You got other unlawfuls with ZoI there and locals like CR, IMG and OCs covering the whole Taus anyways.
EDIT: With corps and all unlawfuls included, we got 20+ IDs involved anyways. You will find your activity so yes.
Baffin is effectively a full backwater system.
Edinburgh is stupid and should be independent like Leeds now.
Orkney is stupid to want.
Rouss is just another backwater system.
Rest you got ZoI in.
44 and 31, oh no horrible.
Stop complaining and play. Just check the damn new mining update too and see all the nice trade routes going through Taus and Kusari now.
Edit: The whole setup of this will circle around Tau-23, Tau-31 and Tau-37 to 95%. Corporate piracy is cool and good and does NOT need unlawfuls to take ALL their place. What all involved unlawfuls got is enough already. Not having all of Taus with their one unlawful faction might encourage people to stop circling around one faction only too. The big pews are centered around the 3 mentioned system, have some trust into faction leaders, won't you?
Edit 2: Also pretty much what Thund said, Navies intended for Tau-23 only or the 3 above. But oh well.
Can it be reduced to Tau 23? It will be weird seeing indie Bowex pirate Samura transports that are bringing goods to New London. Unless this is intended to portray the corruption of individuals far away from home?
Seems like a disaster for factions like Mollys
Already struggling vs Tech, Numbers and Skill advantages - and they won't be able to drop in as a 3rd party on these fights to finally have a chance

Very hard to understand why unlawuls are excluded then
