Stucuk I see where you are coming from but you are wrong bc they say their arguments are valid and you are opressing them and their rp. Stop flaming and picking on the smallest faction and just let them do what ever they want. ZOI means nothing go where you want do what you want.
' Wrote:I don't care where u fight, but sending UNPROTECTED transports "into the lions den" is a different matter. No unprotected hogosha transport would be able to get into Liberty space, they would be destroyed way before they got near to NY. But there isn't ever enough players on to make sure this actualy happens, which is why ZOI is important as it keeps everything ballenced as it should be rather than players going anywhere dispite the fact that if FL was real they would be destroyed before getting to there destination.
Destroyed by what? CSV'? The transport that was so unprotected took down two VhF and one Bomber... and made it back safeley to kusari... I don't think it needed protection, not with Ai Keiko behind the controls, blasting them Junker friendlies with her banzai zen!
As a trader you can pretty much bribe your way to anywhere, You cannot fly in to most guard systems, but main comercial systems, why tha hell not. Hogosha's ID is very similar to the one of Junkers. Wich implies they work kinda similar. Neutral to law and unlaw, as such can go anywhere. Except Bretonia as stated, where being a Kusari isn't neutral...

Im done.
From Mr. whole Sirius ZOI to god's ears. ;)
Since I see you are in :j:, I should tell you something.
I'v seen 2 different :j: guys in Kusari two days in a row. Are you, or are you not allowed to go in Kusari?
Because if you are, can you explain me why Hogosha can't go in NY?
I never intended to attack :j:, and I am not doing that right now, I totally agree with them going trough Kusari.
But what I'd like to know is, how is it possible that your words go against your faction deeds?
It's a bit.. Contradicting.

There is also a very particular reason the outcasts and Corsairs have had admins step into their attempts to "spread out".
They have some of the most powerful ships and weapons in the game and they are fighting a war which is between two of the most powerful factions in the game.
I'm assuming the admins don't want a Corsair-Outcast assault on Liberty involving legates and oc dessies and krakens and salamancas and bombers loaded with infernos and supernova--in the midst of where new players spawn and where you already have unlawful factions who operate and are based there.
The more pvp oriented players tend to those factions and they have enough to do with a major 'house" wart between them, Bounty Hunters menacing them and nomads and Order activity. There are probably close to a hundred Outcast and Corsair players combined total on the server.
It wouldn't be sensible to attack one of the biggest houses in the game when you already have a war between the biggest houses already.
So the admins have made a point of telling Outcast and Corsair players, "No" when they have tried to craft role play to spread to Liberty.
Smuggling Junkers and Hogosha are not even the same category or scenario.
So there is no way to say "Hogosha can't because Corsairs would or Outcasts would." It's not a valid comparison at all.

Just because you order something doesn't mean you would fly all the way yourself. You don't. Who you are buying goods from would send them to you via a 3rd party. You don't fly half way accross the universe through like 5-7 systems or so (most of which junkers etc would be in) and back to get goods.
I rearly CBA arguing. Its like talking to a wall. I provide a great example about how Hogosha wouldn't be able to get past the Junkers and there allies(Who span far more systems and would have more ships and support) and you still do your "Well we buy stuff from Corsairs so we can go there" crap. Your just making up how the universe works as you go along. You look at the game from a Game persepetive not a RolePlay perspective where Junkers and there allies would actualy protect there borders.

Just because Discovery isn't ballenced and you need a bomber(Who has a shield buster and can aim) to dent a Transport doesn't mean in RP a transport wouldn't need escorts to fly through THERE ENEMIES SPACE. It would be the same thing for Hogosha to fly through Junker space as flying through a factions guard system. I don't see how u can call yourself RPers when you fail to take into account that your flying through enemy space and that your enemies wouldn't actualy stop you flying through there space. Just becasue there is a lack of ships (As there isn't loads of players in the same areas at any given time) doesn't mean RP wise there wouldn't be Junkers and there Allies to stop you from getting past there borders.
Anyway im out of this thread, you clearly don't take into account how a real RP world would work and think that you can fly anywhere and that RP wise(not talking about players but RP) no faction would stop you flying in there space. Enjoy being a wall.
Sorry, but I will remain being a wall until you explain me why is it better to settle things with rules then with in-game RP.
You would like to yell : "OMG HOGOSHA CALL D ADMINS PLZ REPORT REPORT!", while I would like to settle it with proper RP.
Too many rules = less fun.
Now do what you like, not like I care. I most certainly won't limit my RP because of your narrow view.

Way I see it, nothing wrong with Hogosha being in NY as long as they have a legit RP reason. High prices for artifacts in NY is not an RP reason, it is an OORP reason. It shouldn't be the excuse for them to go to NY, simple as that. As far as trade goes the only places where Hogosha should be seen would be Kusari and the Sigmas, that is all.
Junkers and "their allies" wouldn't mount a concerted effort to stop Hogosha necessarily. One of the news blurbs is that the Liberty Rogues refuse to get involved with the Junker Xeno dispute.
Most Lane Hackers and Rogues would just pirate what they can catch. And Junkers don't have a huge organized fleet of ships stopping all Hogosha--it's up to players to try to stop them. if they do, then you have accomplished what you want. But players have to organize it.
The other news blurb about the Hogosha and artifacts is the deal with the Corsairs cuts out the middleman and makes Hogosha the exclusive suppliers, displacing Orbital Spa and Cruise as a distributor.
Exclusive suppliers in Kusari. Junkers and other smugglers take care of the rest of Sirius. Business between Corsairs and Hogosha still gets done on the Hawaii though.
