So basically Liberty;
Has Alaska to jump into Earhart, a system you only need to go through once to avoid the dangers next times.
Completely for free. Anecdotally claimed to save ~200,000 credits from Jumpdrive usage.
While the rest of Sirius has to invest into a Jumpdrive and Jumpbatteries, to not go through military-restricted Alaska
For a large cost,
And that's because... Ageira Innovations I guess....
Seems like asymmetrical balance, but you could've given this unique advantage to literally ANYONE but Discovery's favourite child - Liberty...
Please do correct me if I'm wrong about how I perceive the situation, I only participated from Kusari's side and heard the rest - Liberty's side - from others.
To add to the above, Liberty is also readily able to send in more reinforcements as needed to establish dominance at zero cost, from Chadwick station. We all know Liberty's got manpower to spare. Everyone else needs to pay another 200k credits if they want to go back, if say they died in combat but their side had won.

These are valid points, and we'll change jumps into Earhart to be "calculated" as 0-range jumps (in-system jumps) rather than max-range jumps once we get a chance to. While it will never fully even things out, and it is a little funny for Liberty of all Houses to have a home advantage here, it should help a bunch.
We're toying with some other funny ideas relating to the Supergate, but I'm not sure if that'll go anywhere. For now I just recommend players invest into Jumpdrives
Rheinland and Kusari should just declare war on Liberty with the demand to demilitarize Alaska and make it free access for any house military. We have nothing to lose but Liberty's plot armors. (^:

Expeditionary fleets from Kusari and Liberty separately venture into the unknown perils of a new frontier.
While the surroundings are alien and hostile, human nature is all too familiar. Lust for power and fears that a rival Houses may secure the sector's strange resources for themselves quickly led to violence.

Was looking for a chance to RP and do sciency stuff with [LN]-Interloper|ESRD and the Kusari expedition, but oh well xD
Looking forward to more related events~
To be honest, I'm surprised the pvp stopped before everyone died. Discovery's been stuck in a loop of events being primarily combat focused, and I'm assuming people thought the same of this Narrative* event too, out of habit.
By the looks of it though, people seem to be eager for more roleplay, so maybe the next narrative event will be more of that.
