Except for commodities which take more than one unit of volume (ie, cargo space) per unit. For example, unrefined ores, which take two cargo space per unit. 1 unit of Niobium Ore = 2 units of cargo space.

This is what it's supposed to have according to the info.
The Archon has 2400 cargo hold, Any ore is alocated to the cargo holds as taking 0.5 of its original size.
This means that :
regular ores, originaly 2 cargo spaces x 0.5 = 1 cargo ocupied
chridebris original size 10 cargo space x 0.5 = 5 cargo ocupied
This logic was used probably to save time so one does not need to code every single ore to fit X, Y or Z ship
Its more easy to get those conditions atached to the ship than the ores,
Its a simple code logic guys. Dont see the complication.
