Line up the Guinness and Bushmills ... I hear its lucky your guitar playing is far superior
to my vocal talents ... Play it loud and no one will have to listen to me.
Been a while since a did anything close to live ... Then it would have only been a pair of
turntables. Eeek, an audience. Get em drunk, they won't know the difference.
Please do your renditions first though ... Me, I'll empty the bar at closing time.
Kind words Skye ...
The stars make no noise.

Dear Hoodlum ~ I'll be posting the press release for Hope's Haven Grand Opeing today, and you will see you are on the music Playbill. Not to worry, you are next to last; guests will be quite drunk by then, and lulled into complacent acceptance by my set. The Flyboys will wake 'em all up again so they can stumble off to their ships, to the hot tub or bath, and, finally, to one of my lovely rooms, if they have a mind to try one out. The stars make no noise, but I have heard them sing.
Do you remember that Old Earth movie, "Close Encounters"? I know it goes way back, but in the begiinning, after the space ships have done a flyby, in Mexico, one old blind geezer tells the team of anthpologists, scientists and government officals that "the Sun came out and sang to me." It is something you only hear on the inside.
And I will be happy to accompany you with my lovely old (possibly by now antique, since it's over 30 years old) vintage Gibson J150. She is a mellow lass, but can belt out a good strong strum if it's called for. She will pretty do whatever I ask of her.

Star Children
1.
We are children of the night
with starburn in our souls.
If you step out of the light
youll feel the urge to follow.
And well never stop til we get it right;
well never stop til we can fly.
2.
It was so long ago,
we learned to love the night sky.
And though we couldnt go,
we watched the stars dancing high.
And oh, how we burned in our dreams
with the longing to fly.
Chorus
Star children, its part of our history;
born longing to fly from the moment we could breathe.
Stardust twined round our DNA,
built in to guide us on our way.
3.
It was drawn on the walls of ancient caves,
the others who came long ago to point the way,
to rise up and leave the Earth below,
to fly on fire, the bravest of the brave.
And oh how the visions burned in our dreams,
and oh how we counted the days.
4.
Now the sky is filled with light,
and star ships come and go.
And we fly with delight
watching galaxies turn, to and fro.
And now we are the lights burning in the sky
while others watch from below, longing to fly.
Chorus
Star children, its part of our history;
born longing to fly from the moment we could breathe.
Stardust twined round our DNA,
built in to guide us on our way.
5.
We tell the stories to the little ones,
the fame and glory; and touching the Suns.
We see the starburn in their little eyes
as we kiss them, each and everyone.
And oh, how they burn in their dreams
With the longing to touch the unseen.
6. (Reprise Verse 1)
We are children of the night
with starburn in our souls.
If you step out of the light
youll feel the urge to follow.
And well never stop til we get it right;
Well never stop til we can fly.
And we never stopped til we could fly (fade)

There's a tear in me starburned eye, Lass!
And ye can be countin' on old Sancho to be in attendance. Would ye be needin' any help behind that grand old Sterling bar?
I'll also be bringin' some old friends ta help.. a hefty sap loaded with wee grapeshot, and a cherished old .410 bore double pistol loaded with rock salt fer under the bar. (Never did care much fer them newfangled "Taser" thingies..)
Good luck on yer openin'!
And sendin' ya me Undead love as well,
Sancho

Well, that decidedly dodgy commercial seems to have started the ball rolling ...
Nice when a flan comes together ...
Browning is going to pop one of his B25 specials in, to go up on the wall behind the bar.
3" chambers and a couple of 42gram remmy heavi-shots will remove any unwanted
junk right out the door ... Last resort of course.
Good looking piece too ...
God, do I really have to sing ????
