Here is the "original" storyline, shedding the importation and creating a Sirius related storyline
HemiNecro... half dead.
A religion comprised of zealots who believe to have found god where many find none, in a great underworld. Known to them as Kosmosamomos (meaning world without blemish). They seek this world under leadership of the Nercotheos (death god), more commonly known as the Necro-Lord. Becoming a Heminecro (pronounced Hem-ee-neck-row) is not an easy task, requiring participants to be pushed to deaths edge, deprived of food and water while in a semi-conscious state. At the physical limits of ones body, when the pain becomes unbearable, a small blade is pushed into the neckthe remaining deposit pinching the nerve sending impulse of pain to the mind. Therefore ending ones pain, and becoming half dead. It is originally thought that the name derived from this lack of pain, one would typically say, He cannot even feel pain, he is already half dead. However it is no question that those who venture thusly come back changed, for better or worse. However this is not the most unimaginable part of the Heminecro way.
Convert or fall is the way in which they move throughout this galaxy. Yet it was not always this way. It began with the first Necrotheos, known only as Huvu. Injured in battle in 814as, somewhere on the outskirts of this universe called Sirius by a burn that destroyed the nerves throughout his back and spine, he gained an inhuman lack of feelingsnotably pain. In the three days he remained unconscious after the battle, it is said he was taken to the gates of Kosmosamomos in his deathly condition. During his mental pilgramige he was informed that purification of humanity, the removal of pain as his own, would be brought by a conversion to the realization of Kosmosamomos as ultimate destination, a world without pain. Upon his awakening, and further thought behind what had happened to him, he found the only way to glimpse Kosmosamomos and become faithfully pure was to shed pain push fully the human bodily limit. In fact, he would find, the sensory shutdown and bodily slow crossed over, inexplicably, the boundaries of death. Huvu slowly sought humanity as a problem, and he had the answer... thusly, the Heminecro way was born.
Quickly, in the corners of the universe where light shone not, darkness prevailed, and pain was a synonym of life, Huvu gained support. Outside of the relative safety of Sirius, beyond the confines of this galaxy, Huvu made pilgrimage among the smaller systems that were undiscovered outliers of Sirius. These men were generally outcasts, criminals or religious victims driven from even the corners of Sirius. And in his quest to convert he soon found himself managing to obtain a following, few members at a time, that was equal in strength to a small colony. Many were lost in the first attempts to reach the status of the Heminecro; some perished, some were driven mad by the pain before it was repealed, and some simply lost interest (and were promptly killed). However as the numbers grew, the methods improved, small ships were converted into Heiro-Oikos or sacred houses where men and women would be converted to the Heminecro path. Finally, upon amassing a large following of Heminecro, they moved planetside in a far-distant corner of the galaxy and attempted to present their ways among the people.
He arrived to a planet called Vespus in approximately 814.8as. Undiscovered by much of humanity in the remote Theta area, it was considered inhospitable. However for a time it had not been this way, not until Huvu had arrived. A contingent of militarists had moved from the nearby Zoner base, believing a militaristic faction of the Zoners had to be formed. He arrived on a mission to convert the people of that world to help bolster his numbers before moving into the known world. However, the people here were not constantly pained and alone. They were strong in mind and spirit, and also body and arms. They refused the ways of the Heminecro and were unwilling to even hear them out. This brought great conflict to the theories of the Heminecro as all should be converted, and upon conversion all members found themselves faithful to the cause. However the vast religions of people and the world forced out the Heminecro, and thusly Huvu was struck by difficulty. How to propogate and expand a religion that none wanted, but divinity forced to be done? As all must be purified before Kosmosamomos can be reached. And then swiftly, an answer was found.
As Huvu sat aboard the flagship of the small Heminecro fleet, reports from planetside confirmed that the peoples of the planet had risen to destroy the Heminecros there. Enraged by this, Huvu turned his so called legion vast upon the small world, and quickly conquered its beings there. Now holding absolute power he issued his famous edict,
Convert now, or fall forever.
Met at first with disbelief, killings of those who resisted quickly forced the remaining populace into submission. Finding that the Heminecro way was not embraced until purification, and violently so was it resisted, a new way to spread the acceptance of Kosmosamomos was found... conquering.
The planet was burned, to the best of Huvus fleets ability, leaving a dead atmosphere hanging there. Now with his mission and an invasion had Huvu was confident, and the Heminecros spread. Slowly at first, but then accelerating their rate until they became rivaling in numerical status those of many factions of Sirius. They stayed on the outskirts, skipping in and out of the known borders of Sirius. Upon their travels they identified and commissioned many warships, and when ready, the great army of the Heminecro finally made itself known in Sirius.
Zoner investigative ships and groups sent to investigate the sudden disturbance there were killed or boarded and forced unto the great conversion ships. Without question now, Huvu killed or converted all who stood before him. They caused great destruction upon the outskirts of the Omicrons--skirmishing numerous times with both Outcast and Corsairs, along with Zoners. Also... word of these Heminecro spread to greater Sirius via reports from those stationed on Planet Kurile, who saw the fleets of the Heminecro moving between the Omicrons...
And now... they have arrived to the known worlds of Sirius, these world enders. From planet to planet they move, converting or killing any that stand before them. Thankfully slowed by the loss of its "planet killer", it is now unable to make sizable movement planetside. In its first attempt to convert a planet, that of Kurile, an SOS signal brought two battlegroups of the Kusari navy slowly to bear. Despite the time it took these warships to arrive, they did arrive from patrol in Honshu just in time to open fire upon the great "planet killer" as it lowered its shields to begin its planetary bombardment... Therefore, recent attacks by these Heminecros have been limited to blockading planets and capturing/converting pilots and ships crews. It is an unstoppable force dwarfing that of Earths great crusades, the Heminecro movement grows and grows. Its fleet vast, numbers unknowntoo great to count, the only thing certain is their mission to consume this galaxy in fire until only the Heminecro remain and thusly the gates of the Kosmosamomos open. None are ever spared, either converted or killed, and now Sirius must face this new threat before it consumes them in its religious armageddon.
Roleplay:
---This is a purely RP group. Heminecro are never active unless participating in 1. A Roleplay event, or 2. Recruiting-type work. There is no pirating, police killing, etc. involved. Members would come online as Heminecro only for setting up ships or for the preplanned RP event.
---For our RP we would choose a world (being reasonable in judgment of course) and plan an "assault" of this world. This would consist of the "convert or fall" of all pilots and such that come through, (and though not technically played out in FL, RP assaults include infighting upon ships or nearby space stations) Hours ahead of the actual invasion, warning would be issued to the system through a messenger/forum post/etc. As the roleplay is to move world to world, converting people, the RP would be quite unique.
---Convert now or fall---
Obviously, the RP behind fall is easy, those who do not forego their religion and accept purity through the Heminecro way are killed, mercilessly. However, converts have a very interesting RP possibility....
---Converts will be given 4 million credits, enough for two name changes. Players would change to a name given to them by the Necrotheos, such as HEMINECRO-12 or something of that likeness, the player would then RP their ship as a Heminecro, one of the converted legion vast. After the RP is finished they can namechange back and continue life as normal... This creates opportunity for RP conversionsnot just mindless killingand allows the Heminecros to make a lasting presence, possibly holding outside a planet for hours and hours. This would allow for unique and expanding Roleplay.
---Still working on shiptypes, ZOI, and other information like that... however commentary on the backstory and confirmation of interest is appreciated!---[/b]

recruitment and finding of members could also possibly result in public "conversion". Thusly in some area a ritual is performed (after the character is setup possibly) and he becomes a Heminecro (uses namechange)...
maybe?
