The stories around the house are just for fun.
You got a very serious mental problem if you think this is for real.
Eh? Where did I say that they were real? Freelancer is a work of fiction, a computer game. Anyone who thinks it is real is a fruitcake of big proportions. And of course it's for fun. As is the idea in the topic.

You oversea guys may think it is funny but it is not.
Again, what? What makes you think I find it amusing (and I didn't specifically refer to Germany in the first place)? My argument is completely serious. I'd appreciate it if you didn't condescend to us "overseas" people and think we are somehow ignorant of the outside world.
Dude this is a private games forums.
You are going to be serious? Huh.
I asked you two times to stay away from your bogus german terms in your RP.
I do not care about funny things but you went pseudo intelectiual every time.
I have no idea what German terms have to do with religions in Sirius, besides the fact that some religious folk no doubt speak German. I also cannot recall anytime you have mentioned German to me. I think you have me mistaken for someone else, and I also haven't used any German terms in my posts here, to my knowledge.

Oh, i fear i have mixed up things, then.
I have to to offer an apology.
As you can see i'm more than interested in that topic.
I belive in God and i have to learn a lot about that topic in the last years.
By the way: I think Frank Herbert is a good reference regarding Sci-Fi and religion.
But FL is not a place to discuss that in particular.
No worries, then. Apologies if I came across as abrasive. I've just noticed a taboo on mention of religion in FL, which would ordinarily have some point to it, but seems hypocritical when we have groups like the RM, KNF, SCRA and Agnus Dei running around the place.
Not a toboo but a delicate topic.
Across at least three generations who are playing here.
Watch out, heavy duty sarcasm:
That is a point the current youth tend to ignore: Hello, you are way tooooooo late.
All the discussion about kiddos running amok are HOAX!
Guess who played all the videogames twenty years ago?
If there is a C64 coverd with dust in the attic or the cellar - RUN, teen, RUN!
(put up 'Pink Floyd - Run like Hell')
PS:
FL is a very german game. Take a look a some NPC names at Rebublican bases.;)
Hmmm... Religion in Freelancer is an intersting possibility, and should be carefully explored. Problems with same arise when we get imports(o looky again) but this time import religions from real world.
P. S.
Old steel, freelancer is game, it cannot have nationality. Also connecting it to one land based on npc names on bases is foolish. If this is correct, Croats claim 1/8 of rheinland space because npcs use Croatian names.
I think most of Liberty would be christian. I also think most of the major religions would still be in tact. In fact people would probably belive in God even more since they survived the destruction of Earth.
That being said, what a chracter belives may have a role in a story but I don't think religion should be introduced into the game. Like Eppy said most of the outcasts are Catholic but it seem that it does not seep into their RP.
