Everything went rather well until the unfortunate encounter with two pirate gunboats in California. Long story short, transport shields aren't nearly as invulnerable as previously believed. I must, however, commend the efforts of one of the S/D Agency's pilots. Raya Remnant, I believe. Nicknamed "Crash". Held off the big scary gunboats as long as he could in that Arrow of his.
Will commission a new Train once the nice gentlemen who picked me up reach their destination (Stokes, as it happens). Sadly, I was the only crew member to get out of this one alive, so I'll have to call their families. Not going to be easy...

Well back in the lanes and an other trip to the ring and back done. Trip was smooth. The massive pirate influx of the last two weeks seems to have finally ended. It was right scary about these parts for a while. Outcast and Corsairs roamed the systems like they had moved in. Now as suddenly as they appeared they faded away.
Well thank God. Seems we can go back to business as usual. Regular trips for the future are scheduled.

That was certainly... an unusual run. Somebody needs to have a word with Ageira, and possibly a lawsuit.
While jumping from California to Cortez, there was a huge flash, one of our navigation consoles exploded and our systems went offline. Our navigator was taken to the medical bay with severe lacerations and burns, and when we managed to get power back, we found ourselves clear on the far side of Cortez, about 50k west of the Manchester gate. There must have been one mother of a power surge when we were in transit.
We managed to get auxiliary navigation running, and limped the rest of the way to Stokes, where we're currently in for repairs. I suggest someone speaks to Ageira about this.

An other load of Berryllim dropped of at the ring and more engine components brought back to Cambridge. I makde the run tio Cardiff so they can load me up while me and the crew take it easy at the bar. these IMG fella's here are some good folks. Also having my thruster looked at. My mechanic is crawling around in it as we speak. It gave me a nasty fight as we came into Cardiff and surged while docking. So figured I should have it looked at. Should be fine for a run tomorrow, but will report later on it.

An other peaceful trip today. Ran into a few of those AEG escort folks. Seems they run a Percheron as a decoy and follow it up with a Gunboat to try to nail pirates I guess. Anyway while I did not pay for their services they were going i the same direction as me onthe run out there and back. Nice fella's. The pirate report was negligable. I did see one Corsair but he left me alone since a gunboat was only 2 k ahead of me.
Got the IMG boys loading me up at Cardiff for my next run.
On a side note, I happened to get a hold of some of that coffee they grow on Baden Baden. Man that is some good stuff. If anyone is going there soon grab me some. If not I'll swing through on my next trip out. If you have not had any of this stuff I highly recommend it. Costs a mint though.

Man we are just setting them up and laying them down. I think this is the longest stretch that i have gone without at least seeing a pirate. Anyhow another run and another 11 mil in the bank. I also encountered SD's newest rookie Raya "Crash" Remnant. He contacted me over the private net and wanted to know if I needed an escort. Since he was in Cambridge and I was already docking at the Ring I had to decline. But we chatted back and forth as I made my way back to Planet Cambridge. Nice guy. Well getting set up for another run in the morning

Well looks like I spoke to soon. Was just firing up the engines when I heard a shout over the system Comm net about a dang Sair gunboat. Apparently he was floating right around the Gate to O-3. I tried to wait him out but after a bit i just went back to bed. Hope tomrrow looks better. Still at Cardiff and still loaded up with Beryllium.
