well, i'm not the kind of guy that knows all the rules (i don't even have the game yet :) ), but isn't helghast a pirating clan? thus, they would attack anyone they felt like on account of they're pirates? am i making sense here or am i just wasting my breath?

Also, it doesn't matter if they are a pirate clan. They CANNOT pirate/attack/kill anyone under level 30. Unless they are grouped with a player over 30, and a few other exceptions.

k, soory but i didn't know this was old. yeah i should be getting the game sometime next week and i'll read the rules then. or do you have special rules for your server? if so, where do i find them?

The rules are for the server, not the game.. The game doesn't make its own rules. Only the server does it. Go to the Discovery Freelancer Server section, and look in the pinned topics for the rules thread.
