-cough- neutral my ass more like unfriendly. which means they shouldn't be really helping them

A way better idea- make the shield to absorb 98% of the fire- so there would be needed twice less ships to assault a base- 5 legates crash server less then 10 and are more easy to kill.
If you have any data of factions that should not be friendly helping each other just report them for 6.8/9: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfakHmSI0VI
This video provides some info your screens too, just film them all the time shooting at the same target using fraps and report them, screens cannot represent the situation properly unless you catch them in one group- no need to blame pointlessly in the forum.

Oh, I know. It's just an argument tends to have the ground under it rapidly excavated when the complainees are at least partially responsible for the problem.
That said, there really needs to be an alternate way to do this that doesn't involve server-crippling quantities of battleships. Maybe something involving logistics instead?

Wat. When I'm in a large fight, I frequently cycle through all my valid targets and look for which is most vulnerable. If I see a Legate that has already taken a battering, you can bet your arse I'm going to swap my attention to it, regardless of who it was who damaged it in the first place. There's no cooperation involved.
Still, if you want to encourage people to waste the Admin's time, be my guest.

Here we go with the numbers again....
Fact is , when the hessians decide to oorply log 12023489 caps to counter the 24258243823 caps that are attacking the base of their enemy, and they notice after the first time ''hey this crashes the server'' and then start using it repeatingly as a tool , this is clearly harming the server as a whole.
' Wrote:It not that I don't enjoy it. Its just that when the Hessians come in they over do it and crash the server a bunch of times untill they learn that they have over done it and stay offline.
Server crash = Base restored back to what it was and corsairs have to start over again which gets annoying by the third time.
The base health isn't reset, it just gives the base a moment to repair. I was tracking the numbers closely because I died early on. (I suck at PvP) At the sairs peak they were doing about 500,000 damage a minute faster then the base could regenerate. The base has a total of 8,000,000 health as a Level 1. Each crash restored ~200,000-300,000 health not because it was rolling back, but because the base had a chance to repair, using commodities stored on it. So even though the base was going back up in health, you weren't loosing much ground, and still draining resources.
To be fair though with the IC| barges there docked holding 80,000 units of repair goods the base would be unlikely to fall because of a lack of supply anytime soon.
