The BS cruise disrupter is an expensive and hardened mosquito disrupter launcher, the only reason it's called a 'BS' cruise disrupter is because a single missile/torpedo/flak shell won't blow it off, unlike all the others.
To stop a BS you have to mount a train disrupter and run the risk of losing it to missile, torpedo and flak fire.
It won't stop anything! I've tried it. Not any ship at all is stopped by it from a behind chase.
I am a long-absent Supreme Commander, Executive Commander, Grand Admiral, Fleet Admiral, and Captain in the mighty Hellfire Legion. I have returned, and am on an urgent mission from Drake Thastus to return the Legion to its former glory, and to claim the galaxy for its own. Only then will I be able to rest.
RP Story (Still deciding whether or not to finish)
This is my first post on the Discovery Forums, one problem is, i am not quite sure if it is a mod up-grade thing, or has allways been in the discovery universe.
Why does the Dromedary, have less cargo capacity than the Vanilla FL?
Vanilla FL 275 cargo capacity
Discovery 215 cargo capacity
I was floored when I saw it's cargo capacity was less than the vanilla FL?
Has this been normal for discovery or has this been lowered for other reasons?
For me, the Dromedary is the most classy ship in all of sirius, she is ellegant and very functional. And can hold it's own in combat, and escape.

I'm not really sure what to think of MKII Light Fighters. I have several and they DO pack quite a punch as long as you know how to fly them I have killed many players who have underestimated my LF. But I also know tactics that will beat an LF, regardless of who is flying the fighter. (aka: engine kill backwards in an VHF or HF and keep shooting long range guns. No LF can combat this, period. The firepower is simply not there). I have flown all the MK II Light Fighters in disco and my general conclusion is that they are fair to use in combat.
@Spacewolf: Well, I don't really think that's possible, due to the way that the game was originally made. But you can always share this imformation by word of mouth. I made 200K the other day for telling someone where a jumphole was.:)
@david421: I think that in the Discovery mod, the Dromedary's cargo hold has changed places with that of another well-known freighter, which I happen to like better anyway. So if you still want your 275 cargo hold, might want to go look for it. Of course, the freighter that it's in is hardly "elegant"...
yesterday, I just cleared enough capital to get the 'Humpback', I like her a lot too, has got to be the ugliest ship around, and she can be nasty in a fight.
Using the 'Z', key she can match the toughest AI.

One thing I have noticed and never seen any one comment on. If U have your hud set to detect other ships it will not show other players? are they not in ships? If I am smuggling stuff any where I always have it set for ships and have got cought more than a few times by other players that I did not see in time.:$

Besides which unless your in a guard system, omicrons delta, alpha or gamma, Players are more of a threat then the NPCs, which is probably why they're listed under Important.
