By the way, when the bickering stops, and we get back to tweaking potential rules, can we make sure not to use the word trader? I have a great time pirating other pirates.

That's a bit odd ... do lawfuls arrest one another? Does the Liberty Navy go to war with itself?
But then ... pirates can be a bit like sharks ... feeding frenzy for the same trader and who knows who'll get hurt.

To arrest another lawful, weird, and I don't know if were practical. If a member were to be caught do something a usual member was not authorized to do, might as well dismiss him/her from the faction. To war with oneself, haven't seen it happen so far, and again, the most practical result would be dismissal from faction. To fight within each other is just out right stupid, face the common enemy a leader might say.
To Ran, I agree. Unless you are part of a pirating faction where you pirate for the cause, each pirate robs for him/herself.

Not with itself, no. But they -do- go to war with the Rheinland Military.
Pirates can pirate each other, so long as they're not allied. If a Corsair transport full of goods (whether he cargo-pirated them or bought them is irrelevant) flies into Rheinland, what do you think is going to happen? The unlawfuls will let him off because he's also a pirate? Not bloody likely.
Your line of thinking is relevant, though; a Corsair pirating an artifact transport would be silly (barring unusual circumstances, of course). The Liberty Navy is just as likely to shoot its own ships as the Liberty Rogues are likely to pirate one of their own transports- and the Liberty Navy is just as likely to shoot at Rheinland Military ships as the Liberty Rogues are to pirate non-allied pirates. Whether or not they're lawfuls is irrelevant.

1. Join Lane Hackers.
2. Blame Ageira for all human vice.
3. Pirate people.
4. ???
5. PROFIT!
Agreed, and it could depend on the faction and their cause. I don't know if the Lane Hacker, Liberty Rogues, or any other pirating faction's cause, but it either-
1. Join together to become the most well known criminal organization of stealing and instilling fear. United under the criminal boss, they rob people under their banner which will always be known to everyone and everywhere.
OR
2. A simple organization where people with similar tastes of piracy come together and kind of pirate for themselves. The name is just there to scare people and make them feel/appear united.
But I refuse to take in your biases without evidence. (Okay, blame Ageira for that...any examples or evidence?)
Update- Heh, Sovereign just posted 2 mins before I did, never noticed. I like his thinking and completely agree with him.

Mike, you'll find we use a lot of sarcasm on these forums. It's a joke template from South Park, usually used on the internet to denote sarcasm or a sardonic tone on a topic.
And the Lane Hackers are ex-Ageira.
