A few images, or a video preferably, of the shape would be excellent. Chiefly due to some concern over a Falcattaish balloon/clay look that the model may possess.
That being said, if the model is actually found to be of higher quality, replacing a vessel like the cupholder... Which is essentially the exact same ship as this one save more primitive... Would strike me as a worthier move than replacing a perfectly fine vanilla model with a redundant fighter.

Mephistoles
Im probably the only one but Im sensing something not quite right with the model/texture. I think it might need a 'cleaner' texture if it stays as smooth as it is now.
Replacing the Avenger is also probably not a good idea.
What this -could- be however is the follow up non-defective model based on the Phantom VHF (formerly the LSF Ravenclaw).
But it would need Yue Fei's original clean black texture (with a few tweaks) for that, I think.
To answer a few points;
-I might turn the LSF model so it only has one single vertical fin to make it different, it shouldn't be a very hard modification to the original.
-The textures used are vanilla defender texture, modified (LMC one uses a somewhat greyer one while LSF uses a black one.)
-Because I was asked only to texture the ship, I know not what would the stats be.
-I did considered it would be a fine replacement to redundant HF class fighters that nobody seems to use right now - replacing their stats and infocard shouldn't be very hard
It looks too roundish for my tastes. Kind of like the sausage Falcata. The smoothness is also distorting the textures, giving it a rather ugly appearance. If you've applied smoothing or something to it, I'd recommend taking it off.
id say add it new as a fighter variant of the upholder maybe infocard it as a field modification like what was common with ww2 era soviet/British/German fighters that the corps/LSF adopted to better use the resources they have
