My reconnaissance of Gallia continues. I have mapped, in detail, the natural features and Royal holdings in the Dauphine and Burgundy systems. During our recon of the Burgundy system, we encountered forces of the Gallic Royal Navy, as well as the Council cruiser LC|La.Vertueuse.
A bomber, under the name White.Whale, and a Gunboat named EPSILON(Deukalion) attempted to fine us five million credits for our presence in Royal space. I told them that I would spare their lives if they turned over Princess Aurelia. Naturally, they refused. Despite being greatly outclassed, the two vessels engaged us and the La Vertueuse. The EPSILON(Deukalion) fell quickly, and we allowed the bomber to withdraw.
*Rajuc pauses a moment, looking thoughtful*
They fought like true warriors. Such honor does not deserve to be led by vermin such as Aurelia DeFrance.
The bortaS is currently using the rings of Planet Tonnerre to mask our presence while we conduct scans and monitor communications within the system. We will contact you again, once we have something more to report.
Greetings Commander,
I have happen to come by some navigational maps onboard my Destroyer, [TAZ]Chao's.Eyes, that might be useful in surveying the Gallic worlds. If you need them I'll be able to send it to you personally. Also becareful around Burgundy. I have spotted a couple of Battleships patrolling the area. If any help is needed, I will be happy to help you.

Ambassador's Log:
My work never ends. This I'm glad about. During the break of the meeting here at my Estate, I responded to a couple of messages. It seems the Gallic Council wants to speak with me as does another group out there. This could be a good deal for everyone in TAZ. With Malcalypse back running day-to-day operations, I can better serve him. Let's see how this goes.
I am pleased to report that the collection and the distribution of Flax from our fold is complete. This last distribution of 40M Tons of Flax to all Freebirds was no easy task but it does place our holdings in a very stable and balanced platform. We run no risk of loss and this distribution should see us through any sudden flax issues in future. Please find the following list of available Freebirds, Vessel Classes and Status.
I also wish to extend my personal thanks to all of the TAZ maniacs who have shown such generous support in this endeavor.
I have not included the Flax balances, because that information is available to those that have access to these vessels. Suffice it to say, they are all well funded now, should the need arise. It is understood that all Freebirds are to be stationed at Zoner bases for support purposes. For all intents and purposes, these vessels, with the exception of Chapel.Perilous and Omega, are available for unrestricted duty. The reason for the restriction on Gamma is simple. It is an Order built vessel. As such, her mission and birth is to remain obscured for security purposes.
I pray to the Goddess that this report finds you well.
I have completed my mapping of the Gallic borderworlds. Unfortunately, there appears to be no jump holes into the Gallic Core systems, and the Jump Gates are sealed, as you well know. I am sending you my mapping data now.

I can also report that we encountered Aurelia DeFrance today, while scouting the Burgundy system. I found her and her brother both in a confrontation with some Council ships, including the LC|La.Vertueuse, which I had fought alongside before. The other Council vessels demanded that I not interfere, while the La Vertueuse's commander was glad for my presence. After telling the Council ships that I would not withdraw, the Gallic Royal Navy brought a battleship, the Chant Du Cygne, in to reinforce the Prince, Princess, and their escort. At that point, the Council task force was glad to have me around.
We engaged the enemy forces, myself, the La Vertueuse, and a Council bomber focusing on the Chant Du Cygne, while the Council's fighters took on the Royal's fighters, including the Prince and Princess.
*Rajuc begins to look furious*
Despite our superior forces, the Royals routed us without taking a single loss. We had two cruisers and a bomber's worth of firepower, and yet the Battleship cut through us with little trouble. I have seen the Council's diplomats, and now their warriors, and I find both inadequate. Unless they can learn what it takes to fight a war, they will continue to know nothing but defeat. I will not rely on them in the future.
Once the damage to the bortaS is repaired, we will decide our next move. I cannot abandon my Blood Oath, but it is increasingly clear to me that I cannot complete it alone. However, there are no worthy allies to be found here. I will either continue my battles alone, choosing them more carefully, or I will return to Sirius long enough to gather more worthy allies before I return to battle.
I will inform you as to my decision. Rajuc out. qapla'!
As you can see, there are several jump holes leading to the Gallic Core Worlds. I wish the best of luck for you, Commander Rajuc. If you ever need help Commander, just ask.
As Mordrom and I are moving this weekend back to Las Vegas, I wanted to give you guys a heads up. We anticipate a week of being offline, until we arrive and are settled in our new abode in Vegas. I'm gonna miss you guys to be sure. Right now we're having an ice storm in Jackson, TN. Woo hoo! So we may be a bit delayed on the departure. I suppose we'll be losing our internet connection sometime today... if not hey I'll stay on for as long as I can. I just didn't want someone next week going... oooh did Kyte bail?
