Greetings TAZ members,
It is a bad day for me as I was chased and caught by the GRN. Sadly guncam shots were not recovered from the wreckage. Only the chat logs were recovered from the wreckage.
As you can see, I was busy trading in Burgundy. When I saw that they were GRN forces in the area, I suspected that they were looking for me. I hid above the system's plane until an ally by the name of OSI|Victor.Cross came to my rescue. After that we were across Dauphine to Languedoc, where they laid a trap at us. We were outnumbered 1 to 3 as I was in a transport. Luckily, a crew member wisely advised me that I stayed behind in Bourbon Base in case of the GRN capturing me. I still await rescue here and I suspect that the GRN will be preparing for any rescue mission.
I apologize that I cause this trouble to our faction and I would be glad to put down my robes.

You need not worry about losing your robes over that. You have done something rather positive in my opinion, re-enforced why we need to keep those animals caged in their own section of space. I would advice you though, don't go that far into Gallia. Diplomacy, obviously, is something none of them are versed in.
I will be using that log to make a point elsewhere so don't lose it.

Yes, Annette. I'm in love. If you haven't already heard, my girlfriend (yes you read that right) is called Reina. She's a Golden Chrysanthemum but try not to be prejudiced. They're not as crazy as you think.
On to the second subject: I recently acquired some kind of power armour. It's very old and belonged to someone called Amaranth (Hence the edited Comm ID). Somehow, I think Amaranth is taking over somehow...
Wishing you well,
Maria.

Something is wrong. I'll be on Malta for a few days to have a bit of a talk with her.
23's.
Well, I've got my shiny little Conference up and running, and now I've figured out what to do with it!
So I heard about this little place called Gallia, and so I scooted on over to Reunion in Orkney to have a chat with those good guys, the Council. Well, what can I say, Gallia sounds like a lovely place! Pity about the people, though. 'Cept the Council, they're real nice guys.
Anyway, yeah, so I had a chat with 'em over a few drinks on Reunion, and what struck me was the stellar phenomena they described to me. I mean, they talked about some kind of...four-planet-triangle-structure-thing? I dunno, but whatever it is, it sounds quite the sight to see.
I may take a pop up into Gallia sometime soon...I've heard about how it's dangerous, how the Royals want us all dead, yada yada but I know how to keep outta sight. The Nebula's a stealthy boat, at any rate. All that stealth-enhancin' black paint helps too.
I'll probably see some of you up there, at any rate. Maybe I'll be able to lend a hand or two, if I even end up going in that far. I'll most likely just poke my nose in, take a few snapshots then head on back. I hear Languedoc is a lovely shade of red. I'll drop a few loads of pineals off, too, seeing as they don't want any of them in Gallia.
Captain Uysison, I am presently moored at Grenoble Depot, and I'm preparing for a return to Sirius, in order to search for allies. You are welcome aboard the bortaS for the return trip. Be warned, though, that this ship lacks any luxuries, or other nonessentials. Klingon beds do not have mattresses, so I'd recommend bringing your own, unless you don't mind sleeping on a metal slab.
Captain Shaw, you are correct in saying that the Privas formation is an impressive sight. Even my most hardened warriors couldn't resist stopping and staring at it for moment. My science officer has also been quite..... effusive on the subject. Be careful on the trip, however. It is true that the GRN do not want us there, and they do not shy from battle. Be prepared for a fight at all times in Gallia.
Finally, Doc, you are indeed right in saying that these animals need caged. I am doing what I can towards that end, in addition to my primary mission of killing Aurelia DeFrance. I cannot understate, however, the direness of the situation up here. The Council is barely holding on. In Languedoc, the Royals have a foothold at the Jump Gate, and the Council are unable to dislodge them. Further into Gallia, you see stations that were damaged or destroyed in battles between the Royals and Council. The Council are being pushed steadily back, and it is my opinion that they opened the minefields as a further escape route, so their backs are not against the wall. If the Royals are to be contained, we simply can't count on the Council to do it for us. We must become more fully involved. The Council needs supplies, ships, and training. They have the spirit for battle, but not much else.
The Royals are beating the drums for war. They have what it takes to sweep past the Council, and carry their war right into our own space. If we do not contain them here, now, we will not contain them at all, and everyone we've sworn to protect will suffer for it before the Royals are finally defeated. Consider this carefully, and take it before the other Zoner leaders. Impress upon them the importance of this battle.
Aboard the Nebula, Elliot was reclining in his cockpit chair. Suddenly, a datapad started beeping furiously, buried somewhere under the large pile of data slates, pads, and thingymajigs strewn all over the command console.
He cursed, scrambling out of the chair, throwing pads everywhere in search of the irritation. He'd had the floor covered with impact-absorbent foam in case of things like this. Eventually he found the offending pad, bashed a button to make it shut up, and then read the softly flashing message intently.
"Hmm? Get out of Gallia immediately?" he muttered to himself.. "Bugger that..still, it says that it's only temporary. We'll have to pay a longer visit next time..."
He walks back over to the main console, and begins flicking switches. The mooring clamps disengage, and the Conference's engines fire up again, sending it speeding back towards the Orkney jumphole...
He pulls a keyboard out from underneath the console. Old fashioned, he knows, but the retro feel appeals to him.
Well, I got the memo. Pulling myself out now. Guess my Gallic vacation is postponed, eh? Ah well, I suppose it's for the best.
I'd talk more, but I have to concentrate on flying, this autopilot is throwing a fit at anything Gallic-named. We came across something with one of those "accent" thingies in its name earlier, the computer threw a right fit. I've really got to look into this more once I'm back.

Re: Immediate recall from Gallia
Well, news travels fast! Doc must have given you a heads-up from Canaria while I was getting the old girl underway for Baffin.
All TAZ vessels will consider Gallia off-limits for the time-being. All vesels who have intel on the status of Gallia, especially you, Rujac, will report to Pueblo Bonito for immediate de-briefing and evaluation.
Right now, we can't afford to derail the ZA's efforts to unify, Popes. If we're whissing in Gallia while they're pistling at Tombstone, we might throw a spanner into the works.
I'll be at the Temple in six hours to begin debriefing. Get your hairy primate butts home, folk.
Doc, thank you for the complement. I shall never again set foot on space of Gallia. I still wonder thou, in the chat logs, I specifically ask them what would happen if they were in our ancestor's shoes on the faithful day. You know what was their answer?? They said nothing. I guess the pen is still not effective against these people. I might unleash the sword on them. In addition to that, you might want to know Commander Rajuc that Aurelia DeFrance was present in the chase against. It seems she is flying a bit more daily right now. I would be glad to get aboard your ship and I dont care if the ship doesn't have mattresses for I have slept the whole day so I will be awake for the rest of the trip. Thank you for your hospitality.
Mal, I shall report immediately to Pueblo Bonito as I have some intel on their worlds. I shall provide nav maps on their bases.

I detect a slight problem with Gallia being off-limits. If a [TAZ] vessel is sent to the A.D.M.I.N prison system, Bastille (which shows up as being in Gallia) then will they still be in violation of the thingy?
23's,
Annette.
