If you die and you are hostile to the NPC faction that makes your ship then when you respawn you end up in a starflea.
Variation #1: change it to die X times before starfleaing
Variation #2: change it to nerf your powerplant each time you die (reflecting the fact that you can't repair the ship very well)
Variation #3: #2 but when your PP gets to 10% of it's original value the ship starfleas.

A nice idea, but what happens to people like xander?
Xander has a Freelancer who works for the ICMG in exchange for all the scrap left over from destroyed tridents.
With permition from Doc Jammie of the 101st, he managed to cobble one together from scrap.
He now flies his CAP 5 trident (for that matter... what would happen if an AU is too big for the starflea's hold?) along side the ICMG, killing outcasts.
I like Option #3. For that matter, is it possible to downgrade the weapons in the same way? And before everyone has a fit, Im sure if this was implemented it could be made so that SRP's are immune.
Have a list of people who have legit reasons to keep their ship / be able to repair it and who have been granted approval from an SRP or faction leader.
This list is FLhooked into the server as exemptions from the starflea Hook.
If this could be done, it would be a -most awesome- Flhook idea.
Rather than this, how about a death cost based on the value of your vessel? You know, kind of like a mandatory excess on an insurance policy. This could be high for civilian/corporation vessels and low for military/police vessels.
