To fight her tiredness, Lydia took a long and enduring shower under hot water. She finished before Dr. Tesh arrived, but she didn`t seem to bothered dressing in anything more then her shorts. So when she opened the door, she welcomed him, her upper body only hidden through a losely towel over her shoulders and her falling and wet hair, whom already start to lose the blonde color, releasing her deep blue tone.
"My.... what a nice suprise. I rarely meet other peoples, excluded Dr. Holliday and Doreen... whom I didn`t met today though. Did something happen?" She walked back to the bathroom, throwing the towel into the shower, then putting on her bathrobe. Now wider smiling, she came close again. "Last night? Well... for completely unknown reasons I sweat alot the whole night... so when I woke up, I changed the sheets. But I never saw one single soul. I hope nothing too serious happened."
She streched a bit, revealing a bit of her upper body to the Doctor, just before she straightens the coat out. "Ah... Cardamine... You are sure I took it? It really is a devils thing... addicted people would do anything for a dosis." she smirks, throwing herself backwards on the bed, then raising up and starting to comb her hair. "Say... what color do you like most, blue or blonde." she asks and winks at him.
"How long has it been since we started, Susan?" Dr. Holliday asked of his nurse.
"Seven hours, fourteen minutes, Doctor," she replied.
Having completed setting the bones in her right shin and immobilizing it, Dr. Tesh moved to help his counterpart in the re-construction of her shattered left arm which was in eight pieces.
"Whoever did this did it with intent to make sure she never used it again," commented Tesh.
"Well, they failed," snapped Holliday, "they failed."
The two men together finished what Doctor Holliday himself had started. All pieces of the arm were set together and joined with a laser fuser. It was new but worked in good order.
"Where did you get this?" asked a very impressed Dr. Tesh.
"Corinth Station," answered a proud Dr. Holliday, "it's been in developement. It alleviates the need for pins, screws and braces. Set the bones, fuse them and immobilize the arm for some natural healing to take place."
"You'll have to get me one!" Tesh insisted.
"Well, if you would check your deposit box once-in-awhile," answered Holliday in a smart alec fashion.
After setting the arm, they started looking over the head trauma she suffered. The surface wounds had already been treated and were healing. For now, it was a waiting game to see what she would be like when she awoke. Still, they examined the wounds to see how they were healing. As they did, they continued their various subjects of discussion.
"So how are those nurses that got hurt?" John asked.
"They will be fine," Tesh replied, "a bit sore for a few days but fine."
"I studied that video over and over, Ed, and it kept me thinking," explained John, "mulitiple personalities but from what. It wasn't until the Klingon sergeant smelled Nomad that I began to wonder. So, I confided in an old friend."
"Anyone I know?" asked Tesh.
"He goes only by The Doctor and he does Nomad research for the Order. I sent him the video and he gave me some good insight," commented Holliday.
Changing a bandage, Tesh replied, "Well, back where I come from, the Order are terrorists."
"Terrorists?" John questioned, "I think not. They are why the Nomads haven't advanced further. Anyway, I trust him and he may make a trip out to meet with Lydia."
Dr. Tesh just gave a look to his counterpart, "Well, John, I trust your judgement."
"Thank you, Ed," he smiled through his mask, "much appreciated."
They finally had finished with their work.
"Time, Susan?" asked Dr. Holliday.
"Nine hours, forty seven minutes, Doctor," she answered. With that, the two doctors went to wash up as the nurses cleaned up Nina and returned her to ICU, still under her drug induced coma.
"So how long do you plan to keep her comatose, John?" Tesh asked of him.
He thought for a moment as he removed his bloody smock, "I'll check her in the morning. If she's healing well, I'll turn off the meds. She may like to know that she's safe."
Dr. Tesh nodded his approval and began to leave the room.
"Oh yes," chimed John, "I spoke with one of her people the other day while I was on break. They didn't know anything as to where she was or her condition. I do hope that they will send someone. It will be good to see someone she knows."
Together, the two men left. After a break in the Pleasantview Lounge, they retired for some rest.

It was the end of the work day and Dr. Holliday decided to make some rounds before ending his day. He first stopped in the ICU where Nina lay recovering, still in her coma, under the watchful eye of a nurse who was watching an old movie on the comm system.
"How is she, Michelle?" he asked her.
"She is resting comfortably, Doctor," she answered.
"Good! Good!" answered he responded.
He pulled back the sheets that covered her to inspect the many wounds and burns that still remained. He softly shook his head in disgust as he placed his stethoscope upon her chest, moving it from place to place.
Once finished, he checked the arm that he had pieced back together a few days before and her right shin. Yes, she was slowly healing but she was doing so surely.
He stood up and went to her I.V. He closed a small valve on the line to the bag of heavy sedatives and gave instructions to the nurse, "It will be awhile yet but when she wakes up, call me....no matter what. She won't feel anything and she's still to far out of it to get upset but I want to talk to her."
"Yes, Doctor," she said. With that, he left the room and made his way to Lydia's room.
He entered the room with his bag, greeting her as he entered. With him was Doreen. He didn't examine her the way he had last time but as they sat, he discussed his next plan.
"You have trace amounts of cardamine in your system," he explained, "I suspect it is why you are having such stomach problems. I am going to give you something that will rid your system of it entirely and will repair any and all damage to your body done by the drug."
He held up an injection gun that contained a measured dose, "It will tingle once it's in as it is doing it's job. They are called Nanites and they are similar to the nanos that we use on ships. The difference is, these are living organisms that fix the damage by assimilating themselves as part of whatever they fix. They are also 100% successful and may well help you with some of that memory loss."
With that, he gave her the shot which didn't hurt at all from a quick shot of air. It tingled through her body as it did it's work.
"Lydia, I will check back with you shortly on this," he said, "it won't take long to do their work but I will give it a short time nonetheless."
Sleeping for a while, Lydia awaked when the Doctor entered the room. Smiling, she waved both of them just before preparing for the next thing. Without saying a word, she took the injection. "So Doreen... I heared there were some problems..." she started when the Doctor left, but half of the sentence vanished in her throat. A giant wave of pain in her stomache throws her head down, her body cramps and she was almost unable to stand upright. "Sick...." she growls, running into the bath, slamming the door behind her to prevent the perplexing Doreen to follow.
In the bath, Lynn curses to herself. Some kind of Nanobots? What the hell, this obnoxious Doctor is just.... Grrr.... As a reflex she removes her hairband, opening her ponytail. Then she loosened a tile from the floor, using it as a lever for her hidden stash, where she hides all of her secret medicaments. At first.... a small dose of tranquilizer just above the point of injection. Then... what now... Guessing like wild, she bites on her teeth, she sprays liquid ice on the point, slowing the process a bit. She knows, her... head can fight them, but need a bit of time...
Looking at the chair blocking the door, she emptied the spray on her wrist. Slowly she feels her metobalism to fight against the bots.... her grip on her stomache surely is gone, but above her neck they will never move. Slowly hiding her things again, she flushed the toilet and then splashing water in her face. "Okay... dim down... be beaceful... you are Lydia... be friendly." she whispers to herself. Then, with wet hair and face, she opens the door. "Excuse me.... I just felt so sick..." she murred to Doreen, hoping the Doctor wasn?t back already.

Dr. Holliday was there, having heard everything through the door. As he stood between Lydia and Doreen, he felt something, something he had only felt once before, something he hadn't done much research on but knew enough it could be a lot of trouble. He crossed his arms in front of him but gave no indication of any discomfort. If anyone would notice, it would be "it" within her.
He started buying time for the nanites to work. They wouldn't take full effect yet. He made casual chat with her.
Small talk about trivial things, keeping her focused on him for a good twenty or so minutes.
He was no fool as he was buying time for the nanites to do their work. No condition could stop them and with no entry wound from the injection gun, nothing could counter them. He could see the conflict taking place.
He then turned to Doreen, "Doreen, I need you to go out and get the Klingon Sergeant. I want you to stay with the other Klingon guard at the secure door."
"Yes, Doctor," she said as she headed out and did as instructed.
The sergeant entered the room, armed only with his warrior instinct.
"What is it, Doctor?" he asked.
"Just stand behind me," he instructed, "I need you sense of smell." The Sergeant nodded. His nose twitched a bit and turning to his boss while keeping his eyes on her, he said to him, "I smell it again."
Doc only nodded.
At this point, the nanites would have taken a full hold of her mind, repairing cardamine damage, restoring lost memory and such. The process was nearing completion.
After the small talk Lydia got more silent, leaning against the wall. Her eyes lost the red color, but a bit of blood ran through her nose, unnoticed by herself. Clouding mind opens up, the blockade of her drugs and other mental problems just broke down like a cheap piece of cardbord. Her darkest memories broke free and her body shivered, hiding her face with her hair completely. In her mind, the real Lydia, Lynn, all those in her head broke free... to be confronted with what haunted her for years, and to fight themselfs. The outcome was slowly found....
Growling, she raises slowly. The blood from her nose dripped upon her hands. She looked at it and some evil grin escaped her face. "That remembers me at my first day...." she said, loud enough for everyone to hear. Then she cleaned her hand on Doreens clothes. "Thanks for killing these obnoxious girl off." she said louder to the Doc. "It feels great to own that body again... but you have woken my other self. It has chains on me, pulling my actions back. That safed your life." Laughing loud, she keeps eye contact to the Klingon guardian. The inner fight was too intense, she had to conserve her power. "I am sure that you want to know more about my past... but you have to get me some things in return." Waving towards the guard, her lips curling up. "I want to go off this guarded place. I can escape anytime, so why do you get those problems to yourself? And... I want sake. Or something like that. I had nothing like that in two whole weeks. Brandy. Whiskey. Whatever you can get. And hurry up. I want to meet up with a Girl called Nina... and don`t you dare calling me Lydia ever again. She is in my mind, sobbing like a little girl". In her eyes you can see cruelity, a promise of violence and upcoming problems.

Location: Intensive Care Unit, Deck 4, Room 14
Patient: "Nina"
Condition: Serious and guarded.
Dr. Holliday stopped to check on his patient. While he was there, she finally woke-up, confused and disoriented but still heavily sedated. She treated him at first with hostility. It was evident that wherever this happened or whoever did this to her was the last place and person or persons she remembered. He tried to convince her of who he was and where she was, that she was safe. Finally, he managed to tell her something that only Dr. Holliday would know, an event that happened several weeks before.
"I do believe, Young Lady, that you rescued some slaves and sought there repatriation in Baffin. You will be happy to know that they were treated and repatriated around Sirius per their request. I also agree with you to avoid Planet Jericho, something that we do out of respect."
He tried to find out more. Who did this and where? Anyone that he could contact as to her whereabouts? She tried but couldn't.....or wouldn't. In either case, he didn't push. Rather, he comforted her, telling how she had arrived, "You arrived here aboard the X-shuttle Corelia. How you got from wherever you were to that I don't know." He sighs, "I'll be honest, how you survived the trip here I don't know." He sighs again, "I had to defib you upon your arrival."
Her only response was a tear falling down her cheek, presumably realizing how close to death's door she was.
He did some scans to check her internal healing which was going well, well enough to giver her that sip of water she so wanted. After some more soft talk and re-assurance, she again nodded off as expected. As he left, he instructed the sitting nurse to give only small sips of water and to not allow her to move her right arm much and of course, call if he needed anything.
Of course the Doc didn`t came back with any kind of promise. And it was two days after the last private talking... so Lynn got a little nevous. The ammount of liqueur she got from the Nurses weren`t enough to satisfy her needs... or the needs of her little experiment, so she got closer to a Intern, just enough that he would think of getting a wonderful night if he just got her something good to drink. And because he knew the way around women, he brought Kao Liang, whom is rare and strong in both measures. Of course the Guardian in her body prevented any kind of fun she planned with this young guy, he lies now in the bathtub, drugged from a well-placed hit with her fist. Now she tries the alcoholic. It didn`t taste good, but it slowly fogged her mind. But the voice of the Guardian doesn`t vanish, it grews louder. "The best paint thinner but the worst wine ever invented." it mocks her now forcing her hand to move the bottle to her lips once again, taking a big swig. Angry at her loss of controll again, she focussed hard, her eyes turning white and slowly her mind drifted to that special.... meeting place, as she called it everytime.
It was a place in her mind. The place, everyone watches and waits. The walls are surrounded by monitors, transmitting every moment through her eyes. Her eyelids, slowed down to the increased speed of her brain, closed once in three hours, spreading a blackout for the monitors for minutes. Now, with no one in controll, the monitors just stared upon the wall. In the middle of the room was her throne. It was poor quality and old and...dusty. She was created there. Not even her knows how, she just... started to exist here. And she was in controll.
Looking down on her, she recognized her Uniform for the Red Hessians. Her body was again the age of fifteen... younger, less muscular, her hair in the wonderful tone of blue she took since.... that day... Not to compare to the jeans-and-shirt girl sobbing behind the throne. "Lydia. Come out." she ordered, getting a high-pitched shreak out of her. She moved away from her too. Lynn could sense her fear... she could taste it. And that is why she loved to pick on her. Even though the body of Lydia was older and stronger, something about there just called for punishment. Maybe it was this stupid blonde ponytail...
Grabbing the Hair of her other personality, she holds her down, kneeing on her chest. "Where is she? Where is the Guardian? Bring her out!" Pressing the knee down to the throat of her other self, she can feel her gasping for air. Poor girl... she never got the hang of it, how it works down here. But the Guardian does... and her attack was provocated this time. Lynn suddenly flew up, like pulled up on her wrists and ankles. Then she got slammed down into the ground with a sound, calling for smashed bones and cracked skulls. But then she stands up as if nothing happened. "Slick Move, Maam." she whispers with a smile, as her broken teeth slowly got in order again. "I would do the same, but you just want to be the good girl... but then you attacked that Intern. What the hell is wrong with you?" Right across her moved a single black kimono, a traditional cut, but nothing else, filled with a female body with no patterns on her face or skin or anything else. It was completely... grey. Like a moving statue, made by someone not very good at the details. And it is holding glowing chains, who vanished in mid air, but surely are connected to Lynn.
"You can`t get me out of here with anything. It is for the better good. But your thought was good. I chained you away There for so long thanks to Cardamine." Her finger slowly moves to the end of the room, where fog slowly vanishes to give sight to iron bars holding down something blue and skin-colored. "Yeah... but then you freed me. You needed the space, hm?" Lynn stretched, then suddenly launching herself at that grey women, first with a rotating kick, then with the back of her hand to the non-existant nose. The body didn`t move and the shattering of bones appeared again. And again, Lynn felt down, holding her broken foot. "Someday I will find a way.... " she bickered, waiting for the bones to reconstruct. The Kimono walked towards the iron bars, holding one hand inside. "Good little one... do you have enough toys inside? If you need something... call me. I am going to protect you all the time..." the Kimono whispers in a motherly voice to the alien being in the fog. As it comes closer you can see a blue creature, morphing to other forms every second, snarling, barking and hissing at every direction. The only thing staying the same is his neck, where a chain moves towards a young girl, maybe two or three years old, babbling to herself in a little corner. The girl smiles wide at the kimono, in a cute voice: "Dada" it called before playing with her toys again.
"It took every ounce of Power of our body to fight it back. It was strong... but it didn`t expect to fight four of us." Lynn whispers, now sitting on her throne. "But it gave us strength. Of course we have to throw it out as soon as we leave the station, but until then...." She stopped for a moment. "You know he lied to us. All doctors do. I found the cameras and destroyed them. And you know Nina is in here. And even if he doesn`t find her, whoever she is, then she doesn`t want to be found by him. Or he is incapable. But for both reasons, we can`t expect more help from him. Let me have my way." The kimono turned from the iron bars, looking at Lynn. Waiting. Thinking. A whole hour passed outside until she came to her senses again. A long time outside but an eternity inside. "In Twenty Hours. Then you can search for yourself. In Moderation of course."

Dr. Holliday had much on his mind as he finished his check of Nina. While she was healing nicely and on the road to recovery, the thoughts and threats of Lynn weighted heavily upon him. Never before had he dealt with someone such as herself nor did he have a clear idea of what to do. Curing Lynn of Cardamine seemed to only make things worse.
Thoughts raced through his mind of what might happen if he stalled much longer. His ship, his crew and most of all, his credibility. It was the first time he could remember that he wanted to just go home and forget.....but he knew he couldn't. He kept in mind the oath he took to save lives whenever and wherever possible and not to discriminate who he treated.
He pulled up a chair and sat to Nina's right, folding his arms next to her as he quietly spoke to her. He knew she could hear him and hoped she would reply.
"You're doing very well," he began, "I'll have you on some soft foods probably tomorrow. I hope you can wake long enough to get a mold made of your mouth so that I can build the partials for your teeth."
He have a chuckle, "No one will know the difference...trust me on that."
"I have someone on ship that is looking for you," he continued, "A Lynn or Lydia. She knows you're here and I'm afraid there is little I can do to stop her from seeing you. I'd rather bring her here myself so that I can supervise rather than have her find you on her own."
He sighed, "I want to help her but I don't know how. I feel so......." He just sighed, feeling as if he had failed. He sat quietly, hoping she would give him some direction. He never thought a patient in her condition would be giving HIM advice but he hoped she would.

Patient: Bret, Captain of the Maverick V
Location: Robotics and Bionics Lab
Condition: Good
Bret was brought aboard Med.Force, his right arm amputed just below the elbow. He would wake up in intensive care after the infection where the cut was made was drained, cleaned and properly treated. Not that it was relevent but John Holliday later found out that it was the work of the Gallic Legion.
"A good example of why vagrants shouldn't be allowed to practice medicine," was his response.
Once conscious, Bret was brought to the lab where he was shown everything from a basic arm that would allow him to live as he always had right up to one that was was a technician's dream. But, that wasn't what he wanted. He wanted firepower! He wanted something that would make those responsible sorry. Dr. Holliday talked him into compromise before he turned him over to the robotics lab team.
He was fitted with an arm that joined the "Ball" of where his arm ended. A titanium sleeve went to just below his shoulder. Sensors that had been placed where the nerves of his arm were cut mated up to another pair of sensors that allowed for his nerves to continue working as they had before. The arm itself was held in place by a very strong magnetic force that was shielded so as to not affect the electrical impulses that made it work nor would it disrupt nearby electrical fields and components. It's re-enforced structure and tempered armor exterior was lightweight yet extremely durable.
The best part of it thought was where the attachment went. The "hand" that was attached was used for everyday purposes and operated like a normal human hand. It too was metallic but it was also detacheable. This allowed for Bret to have what he wanted, his revenge. He was fitted with a weapon module which added some length to the arm itself. Some sliding braces went up to just below the elbow for support. It's primary function was that of a heavy plasma blaster, a "one shot, one kill" weapon that could be regulated from the user's mind. On either side of the arm, sharp blades emitted from the sides and would also project foward, kind of like a rifle with a long bayonet but with sharp sides. It was the perfect hack and slash weapon.
After some testing, instruction and some rehab, Bret was medically cleared and told to return from time to time to have it checked over, to even get new mods and upgrades for it.
"Believe it or not, Bret, this is a new area of study to Med.Force.One," explained the lead tech, "so you're input and your feedback will help us."
