Unfortunatly it is my duty to announce that we have lost many ships during a battle in Languedoc... I am afraid i'm the only one who made it back in one piece... *coughs* well... let's say alive. I recorded a large part of all radio transmissions, but pieces are missing... what you hear is what I could rescue from the hard drive.

Bonjour,
Today I have participated to my first patrol and I have been tasked to write the patrol report.
The patrol was composed of two GRN members and two recruits of the Navy Academy :
Our patrol started from the Battleship Beuvray, on our way to the Dauphine Jump Gate, we've been attacked by four council basilisks. We've been able to defeat thems all without any casualties on our side. Later in Dauphine, the Council attacked us again in the Bourgon-Jallieu field with agamas, once again they've been defeated without casualties. It's been quiet untill we arrived in Languedoc. We were just next to Battleship Carcassonne when a fleet of the Council arrived, composed of a Cruiser, two Gunboats and two Bombers. Mr. Giroux marked the bombers as priority targets and it was a wise choice. While the Carcassonne was destroying the Council Cruiser with ease, we turned the bombers into scrap, the gunboats became the easiest part right after. Suddently someone identified as "Soulreaver" appeared on our scanners, using the trade lane. We asked him to identify himself but he didn't have the time, the Carcassonne seemed to know the man since right after he exited the lane the Carcassonne turned him into scrap metal. The man fleed with an escape pod. Mr. Sardoux announced on the system channel that outsiders were not welcomed in Gallia, the man replied that he wanted to become an insider. Maybe we need to blow him up again. As a side note, the man known as Soulreaver was carrying items identified as "Gate/Lane Parts". We thought they could be useful in some way, and brought back as many as we could to the Beuvray.
Then we went back to Dauphine, when we arrived at Briancon station, a council ship disabled the lane from a long range shot, quickly the council ships attacked us and two maquis ships engaged us aswell. The station defences proved to be useful in this fight, we then went back to the Battleship Beuvray without other encounters. We have deposited 10 council prisonniers, 1 maquis prisonnier that survived, and a gallic brigand we've found laying in a pod in space.

Bonjour, Yesterday, Dijon Station reported a large fleet of the 'Republique de Gaule' near planet Orville, as awell as Council traitors assisting them. Grand Marechal LaCroix summoned all available Royal Navy pilots. We also were assisted by the Royal Police, led by Directeur Chloe Dupont. We also were aided by the Incendie and the Martyr. Shortly after, the attack force moved near Dijon, so the battle turned easier for us.
Combat Report:
Death: RdG|VAm.R.Desjardins was killed by a hostile vessel.
Death: RdG|Cpt.Ruiz'.De.Ramper was put out of action by GRN|Aurelia.DeFrance (Gun).
Death: RdG|Agent.Blank was put out of action by GRN|Aubert.Giroux (Gun).
Death: [C]-Nicole.Blanchard was killed by a hostile vessel.
Death: RdG|Aml.B.Sordeau was killed by a hostile vessel.
Death: Henri.Roux was put out of action by GRN|Aubert.Giroux (Mine).
Our force managed to make the traitors retreat back to the Nievre Field, maybe preparing for the next attack against our nation. They're dangerous people, but we shall fight them bravely again.

Bonjour,
At first Im going to submit flight records of an fight some time ago, I was not able to submit them because of some hardware problems.
The fight was situated above Dijon.
We were able to destroy 4 hostile targets before they fled. Unfortunately we lost one Police vessel in the fight. But all in all it can be called a great victory.
A bit later the long range scanners picked a Council Battleship up, an attack wing was formed and damaged the ship heavily before it was able to escape. The Councils cowardice was to be seen once again.
Todays patrol secured the lanes in Dauphine and Burgundy. I encountered a IDF vessel carrying Cyrocubes and I was able to take some prisoners, lets hope an interrogation will be successful.
After I could be sure that the lanes are safe I moved back to the Beuvray.
All has been reletively quiet recently, I have spent a large ammount of time on drilling the crew of the Acre for every possible scenario we may face, so as we may as ready for battle as possible.
However, today a distress call came in from some of our officers near the Beuvrey, apparently, a pair of Maquis ships were causing considerable dammage to our patrols in the area. I, along with a number of Police fighter pilots were scrambled and sent to investigate and detain or destroy the Maquis.
When we arrived at the scene, we found the wreckage of several Police and Navy fighters along with the Maquis pilots, who were engaging a lone Navy officer. They were no doubt aces, being able to do that ammount of dammage before we could arrive.
As soon as we arrived, we engaged them in support of the lone pilot, but found that, for their aged and outdated ships, they were able to do more dammage than most of our pilots could in their brand new Lynxes. Eventually, they began to wear down our armour, and destroyed a pair of our ships before too long. However, I was able to land an Anti-Matter shot on one of their ship's hull, destroying it, and forcing the other pilot to fall back.
I did not manage to obtain any scans of their ships before engaging, however, I did manage to pick up the destruction signature of one of their ships.
After the battle, most of our ships had sustained dammage of various degrees, and we were running out of fuel, as such we were forced back to the Beuvrey for repairs and re-arming.
Thus concludes my report, hopefully I will be able to see more action of this sort soon.

Bonjour,
My patrol started at the Beavray, as it did the days before. I moved towards Dauphine and made sure that all the lanes and bases were secure from treacherous influences. After this task was fulfilled I entered Burgundy to do the same as I did in Dauphine, checking the whole System and its bases. Near the Beauvray the sensors showed an unknown target, a Sirian vessel. I was able to pin it down near Dijon and called for assistance. The Renaissance arrived at the place and cleaned our space from treacherous individuals. After the hostile vessels destruction I moved to Nevers and back to the Beauvray where my patrol ended.
The Renaissance was able to collect most of the ships parts, which were floating around in space to gain informations about this ship type.

[COMMENCEZ LE PLAYBACK]
This is Margrave Blaise Mersenne, submitting an action report for the 17th of Juillet, 743 A.G.S.
A naval operation was conducted within Lanquedoc in order to gauge the mustering and response times of His Majesty's Royal Navy. On-hand was the RNS Acre and the RNS Sylvana, along with an escort detachment comprised of combined Naval and Police fighter-craft; the task force transited through checkpoints in Burgundy and Dauphine to ensure that the fleet's coherence was maintained until we reached the targeted operation zone. Upon arrival to Lanquedoc, we were met with a single Agama-class fighter belonging to the RdG; this was undoubtedly a sentry posted in proximity to the Jump Gate to alert the local Council garrisons of a Naval incursion. Indeed, our suspicions were warranted when a fighter wing of RdG elements arrived. Operational command was given to one of the escort fighters while the Acre and the Sylvana remained on standby to maintain the tactical network.
At approximately 21:16 hours, the command was given to engage the RdG fighter wing. The operational zone was centered primarily around the southern-quadrant of the Lozere Asteroid Field, with occasional divergence into open space. The actual engagement lasted roughly 1 hour, with the advantage shifting back-and-forth between Royal and Council forces; combat ended when the remaining RdG forces issued a retreat towards Planet Quillan. Listed below is the confirmed count of Council units shot-down:
Losses sustained by Royal forces include three fighters, one gunboat, and one withdrawal due to critical propulsion damage.
With the operation ended, all Royal and Police elements returned to Gap Station, Dauphine, for debriefing and assessment.
Analysis: From the initial dispatch to our arrival in Lanquedoc, 35 minutes passed until combat was commenced. With the capital ships remaining on standby, our fighter wing was initially at a numerical disadvantage of 6 Royal units against 8 Council units; the arrival of a LE gunboat managed to draw the fire of four RdG fighters, granting our forces the opportunity to eliminate a pair of rebels. The gunboat was eventually incapacitated, but by this point the battle was relatively balanced. Both sides received sporadic reinforcements, but the decisive advantage was gained by Royal forces as the RdG suffered losses at a faster rate. When only four RdG Agamas remained, they broke their lines and retreated deeper into the system.
Conclusion: Beginning to end, the operation was satisfactory. Naval and Police forces that were called upon arrived in good time, and the fleet transit towards Lanquedoc was of suitable pace. The engagement within Lanquedoc provides us with insight into the combat protocols of the RdG; a focus on fighter- and bomber-craft grants them a degree of flexibility and mobility, but they have yet to display any form of dedicated capital-class vessels. We can surmise that the RdG pilots are suitably-adept at mitigating this weakness, and it would be within our best interest to utilize our own fighter wings instead of warships in future contacts. Also of note is the speed with which the RdG responded to our incursion into Lanquedoc, displaying a degree of organization that we had previously not seen. Naval command should take this into account for later operations into this system.
To the best of my abilities, I claim the contents to be truthful and accurate.
By my hand and eye,
Margrave Blaise Mersenne

Bonjour,
After my dinner with Colonel Delavoux, I executed a patrol through the System of Burgundy, making sure that our space is safe from traitors and sirians. At first I moved to the South securing the area around the Junker base. After I could be sure about this, I proceeded to Dijon, where I checked the surrounding Scarp Fields. The next waypoint was Nevers and the space around it. And finally Alesia, Once I could be sure that everything was clean i moved back to the Beuvray.

Bonjour,
I was assigned to lead a wing consisting of 3 Servals and my and another Lynx to escort a Vache class transport delivering Military supplies, mostly Nuclear Devices and weapons, to the fronlines, more exactly to the Battleship Embrun.
We met the transport at the planet Nevers, proceeding to Dijon in a closed formation, the way to Dijon was left behind without any problems.
The next waypoint, Battleship Beuvray was reached again without interruptions.
Two lonely Brigand fighters stopped us on our way to Bourg-en-Bresse, they were obliberated without any difficulties. Once the criminals were removed we reached the Space Port, I was not sure if those Brigand were operating as a small interuption wing, or if they were scouting the lanes for valuable cargo.
Unfortunately those two ships were scouts, our wing was attacked on the way between the Space Port and the Jumpgate to Dauphine. My sensors showed 4 Brigand and 2 Maquis vessels, which attacked us as soon as they were able to. The hostile ships fought cautious, trying not to hit and damage the transport. God knows what they would have done with the cargo. We were able to destroy 3 of the Brigand vessels and damaged one Maquis ship heavily, those losses were enough for them to retreat. But in exchange for the losses we caused, one of our own pilots lost his life after the Serval's fuel tank was damaged which caused the ships explosion. Another Serval was damaged but still able to fly and fight.
The last part of our journey was finished without interruptions and the goods reached the Embrun.
The operation was ended successful, causing a loss of 5 vessels and crippling one ship not restorable for our enemies at the expense of one of our own ships.

I am really displeased in the actions of those that call themselves Gallic Royal Navy pilots. So displeased that I'm actually doing my own report for once. The lack of discipline, the lack of loyalty to the crown. That's what I, and a few other pilots have seen today. This man is clearly a traitor and should be dealt with as such.

As you can tell, I warned him multiple times to stop, even threatened death twice. The moron failed to listen. He is clearly a traitor, and shall be dealt with as such. Also, just after the order for the Valor to open fire, a large Ion storm hit. I am not having insubordination within the ranks of my fathers Navy, nor will I have a Royal pilot speaking Sirian tongue. Now if you'll excuse me, I have a dinner to attend to.
